So are the ones who do the luge. 140km/hr with only a plank of wood/fibreglass between you and the ice  :o.

Mind you, as the old joke goes, it's the one sport where we all have our best chance of competing in the olympics. All you have to do is lie down, steer and pray :pray lol.

Don't you just love the winter olympics. It certainly provides wonderful moments of clarity to our mad sports crazy nation. We are so successful in many other sports that I actually find it refreshing to see us get a serious towelling once in a while.

I can see our winter olympians at the end of this waiting by the phone for their next chocolate bar commercial after another dismal performance...and waiting....and waiting....and waiting......Get me Max Markson!  :sleep

Poor Max.  Maybe he could get Cherie Blair to take some skiing lessons to compensate the talent drought from these games lol

I can't believe it! We got a gold medal in the Mens Moguls. That currently puts us 16th in the medal count.  :clapping
