None.

Can only see him playing minimal games.

If we have a full list or minimal injuries then there is many ahead of him

See him as back up, not in our best 28 - 30 players

Can't question Parker's attitude or workrate so far this preseason. In general play he won a decent amount the hardball across HF and through the midfield in today's scratch match. It's his finishing that lets him down. It's the lack of polish that is preventing him moving up from a VFL-type player to becoming an entrenched best 22 at AFL level.

would play in front of Castagna.
Parker's goalkicking is worse than even George's.

Thats a matter of opinion. No one in the afl is as poor as george. But you can lay money on it Hardwick no matter what will pick him.

The three amigos fwd in recent years has not worked yet he has persevered with Rioli Castagna and Aarts.
Even Rioli as a defender to me smacks of Hardwick finding a way to play a favorite. The move has actually covered up just how poor Rioli was last year.

It makes you wonder how we won 3 premierships in the last 5 years with so many poor players.

I do agree our small forward plan fell over  in recent years as they seemed to lose desire/ confidence particularly with the chase and tackle. I think our coaches need to refine that plan.

I like Dan in the backline and hope they stick with it as it will help in his development, might go ok on the wing in the future imho

Oh i see the plan is to blame for such lousy form it has nothing to do with the players themselves.

Well Aarts has not played in a premiership and the other two You could say they are favorite sons and protected despits so many horrible performances. In fact Aarts is probably unlucky not to have been gifted a flag but the favorite son Rioli got the gig instead.

Rioli and development you talk as though he is still a kid, mate he has over 100 games and will be 25 in april.
He performed reasonably well for 5 games across h/b but the way people talk about those 5 games you would think he was a superstar.
I keep saying it H/B  is reserved for kids a lot of the time why is that i wonder.

The way i look at it if we play him across h/b he is denying the likes of Brown, Banks, Stack, Mansell have i missed anyone an opportunity to play to THEIR STRENGTHS and games.

I say the plan was good one before other sides developed tactics to counter our strategy and those players lost confidence
I am also suggesting you may see the world like “dark cloud, “ as we have won 3 premierships in 5 years, and  I suggest every other poster is grateful.
I am also suggesting that Dan can develop his confidence as the 18 years develop before he is rotated through the wing / midfield as his disposal is good
I don’t care if you agree or not it just my opinion.
I like your posts as they give me a laugh , a bit like like cornes as they don’t give a popular view but a something a bit to the left

I’m gonna have to disagree with you there. Luke hodge and andrew mcloed has shown how devastating a good HB can be. I’m not saying Rioli is going to be mcloed but it’s not an I significant position that you just throw to a kid
