Very proud Tiger
How's this for being a true footy supporter. Richmond (platinum) member Brett Beattie (the bloke in the cheer squad who usually wears the yellow curly wig and flashes the "Cop that!" banner) had gone overseas before his team's match against the Swans, taking his wife to New York, London and Paris. After hearing of the 118-point defeat and aware the Tigers were playing the top-of-the-ladder Crows, he felt he had to show some old-fashioned Richmond spirit, so cut short the London-Paris part of the trip to be at Telstra Dome on Saturday. Beattie has never waved his "Cop that!" banner with such gusto.

Reminds me of when I was one of the crew on Apollo 13, I sabotaged the ship to get back for a game (the film didn't show that bit, plus they had an adult play the role of a 6 yr old - never got over that)
