Tiges 1.1-7
Cats 1.2-8
-
Blingers goals :gotigers
Tiges 2.1-13
Cats 1.2-8
Cats came out of the blocks so we're doing well.
-
3 quick goals to the Cats :P. Geelong taking risks and running the ball forward. We need a goal big time!
Tiges 2.2-14
Cats 4.2-26
Knobel in ruck, Simmo to FF, Richo to CHF.
-
We apparently have a slight wind advantage 1-2 goals :P
Paddy gets one back.
Tiges 3.2-20
Cats 5.2-32
-
Knobel tap to Cogs who gets another on the run from 40 :gotigers
Pettifer dives and gets a downfield free :nope. Richo's 3rd miss :scream
Tiges 4.3-27
Cats 5.3-33
-
Quarter time.
Cogs, Lids, Hyde, Pettifer and Paddy doing well. Knobel's tapwork got us back in the game after the Cats got 4 in a row. Our worry is the Cats on the rebound. Too easily coming out of our forward line. Who's on Rooke ???. Richo has got to keep Scarlett worried about him. 9 possies to Scarlett.
-
2 goals in a minute to Hyde :gotigers
Inspirational tackle by Cogs.
Tiges 6.3-39
Cats 6.4-40
-
In front!!!
Great mark and long goal from Pettifer :gotigers
5 goals to one in the last 20 mins to us
Tiges 7.3-45
Cats 6.4-40
-
Knobel off with an ankle but it's been strapped and he might be coming back on.
Simmo goaled but Ablett and Byrnes put the Cats back in front. Pressure full-on now. We were on top but Geelong has the momentum now. Need to hang on to half-time.
Tiges 8.3-51
Cats 8.7-55
-
Half-time. We'll have the breeze in the third quarter. 3aw saying it picked up late in that quarter. Worth 2-3 goals.
Best: Cogs, Hyde, Pettifer, Joel, Simmonds, Tambling, Tuck.
-
Simmo goaled but Ablett got it back. They are claiming Tuck did something to Ablett.
Tivs goals. Kellaway knocked himself out but then got up as the stretcher came out :thumbsup.
Goal Pettifer :gotigers
Tiges 11.6-72
Cats 9.8-62
-
Simmo goals. Giving Otto a bath :thumbsup
Tiges 12.6-78
Cats 9.8-62
-
Cats have kicked 3 goals in time on to grab back the lead :banghead. Ablett, Chapman and Steve Johnson starting to get a fair bit of it.
3/4 time:
Tiges 12.6-78
Cats 12.9-81
Best: Blingers, Pettifer, Simmo, Tuck. Polo and Meyer doing alright.
With Lids off we are a man down so can we run out the game?

Tiges 13.7-85
Cats 12.10-82
-
C'MON.........
-
Krak goals :gotigers
Tiges 14.7-91
Cats 12.10-82
-
Krak gets another :gotigers
Tiges 15.8-98
Cats 12.13-85
-
Hyde goals. 4 mins to go.
Tiges 16.8-104
Cats 12.16-88
-
We won. And Richo rubs it in with a goal.
Tiges 17.8-110
Cats 12.18-90
:gotigers :woohoo
Well done boys. Best: Hyde, Pettifer, Krak, Newman, Cogs, Tuck, Tambling, Joel, Tivs, Simmo. Geez hard to find a poor Tiger. Great team effort to kick 17 goals and with Richo well held.
Only downer being Lids' injury.
March in the rooms congratulated the boys on doing the club proud. First win at KP in 16 years.
-
Haven't watched the game as yet. On Chan 10 news they said someone felled Gary Ablett behind play. Who was it? A trip for someone to the tribunal?
-
WOOHOO JUST WATCHED GAME ON CH 10
Abosolutely outstanding performance !!!!!!!!!!!!
You rippers Tiges!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
On Chan 10 news they said someone felled Gary Ablett behind play
Tambling was the closest played to him, i didnt see what happened though.
I wouldnt think Tambo is the type of player to hit someone though, most likely a shirt front.
-
Dont want to mention names , it wasnt Tambling
-
Probably Scott Turner's son
-

julz, abletts cousin shane tuck just gave him some cousinly love, it should be all clear , if it goes to the tribunual its rubbish
-
So that I dont start a new thread I just wanna point out that Polo, Meyer and Tambling all had very very good games.

Bully and i had a great day.
Was great after the game with the Tiger Army not stopping singing for about half an hour :thumbsup
Even better watching the Cats supporters faces
And even better that we have Simmo and not Margot's luv dud lol
-
I wonder how Margo is going :gobdrop

Let's hope so X. Ablett was able to run down the ground and mark 15 seconds later so he couldn't have been hit that bad. Tuck also has a good record which should help him.
-
someone should have smashed the lirrle turd and broken his jaw.
You can't touch the ptick without being pinged for something.
Talk about a protecte species.
-
;D I've always thought G Ablett jr is the closest thing to Kevin Bartlett I've seen as a player. Opposition supporters used to wish grievous bodily harm on him as well. Ball player, absolute star.

no , he is stronger and harder than kb, he never drops the ball in frontof him and wave around like a w@anker trying to cheat for soft frees. he just has an uncanny knack to shrig off tackles. gotta give the pr!ick credit , he was their best player
bartlett = lloyd, bothe fake 4 frees and act

In a interview after that game TW was asked why he swung Richo down back towards the end of the third quater so when we went forward we had nothing to kick too.
His answer
He didn't, It was all Richo's idea and that they were trying to get him to resume his normal position. :banghead
Please Richo DONT GO DOWN BACK. I am getting older and don't think my heart can stand it.
Great game by the boys anyway :thumbsup :gotigers
-
The next time they put one of those GPS things on Richo they need a little zapper that goes off if he crosses the centre line lol. Get the hell out of there big fella :-\.
ps. KB - 5 times premiership player; Ablett 0 ;)
-
Id almost drop him for it. Richo doesnt run the club and he doesnt make the moves, as I said Id almost drop him for it and give Clever another go.
-

I reckon they wil have a look at it and Tuck may get sited for being a dill ::)
The way he went to ground Ablett staged for a stuff. When the unoires ignored him he jumped up and sprinted through the centre of the ground.
Actually if it wasn't for Jnr Ablett the Cats wouldn't have been in the game at half time. He was their best by the length of Skilled Stadium.

How very true!

What a great game by the Tigers all round. One of the few luxuries of living interstate was the full live telecast! :thumbsup
LMAO@ the cats supporters interviewed as they were walking into the ground saying If the cats lose today, they'll tear up their tickets. Another guy said their problem is their forwards can't kick straight (he got that right!). Ahh the parallels to us back in the Frawley days are unmistakable. Watch out Bomber, Spud is looking for a plow partner. The big Donut had a shocker again. :wallywink Talk about going AWOL after his only goal. I think his heart was left on that star post. I guess it's a bit hard to run with pockets full of cash and no ticker. :lol
Special mentions to Tambo & Petts! Great effort boys. :thumbsup

I thought we had arrested this problem - obviously not
-

I was just in front of them during the game - Good value. A few catters got a bit catty though - Tuff
My first win at the cattery - What a feeling TOYOTA
NB - Richmond should NEVER play at that frawleyen geischole EVER again - What a frawleyen disgrace.
-

You might get your wish - if the rumours are true, he's out for six :'(
Shame, because he was in line for his first B&F.
Congratulations Richo for playing out the game with injury :thumbsup
-
I didnt question his courage, i just questioned the fact that he moved himself and the coach new nothing about it and wallace then had to try and get him back forward. nevertheless richo showed courage by staying out and he'll be missed in the next 6 weeks.

The last few weeks he's been sent down back in the final 10 minutes of quarters of different games. I think it always been pre-planned. This time round the big bloke took it on himself to head down back. It isn't the first time the leaders of the team have made move themselves. Remember the Brisbane game - Joel and Patrick Bowden conceeding behinds - that wasn't a directive of the coach that was done by the players. I would look at this the same way - I actually didn't see it as a big deal.
At least Richo tries to something and shows some passion unlike another big bloke who was playing for the opposition :rollin :rollin
