Good one Dipper ::).
Now he says Lids has done a medial ligament out for 5-6 weeks :'( :banghead
Krak has his knee strapped as well along with Knobel's ankle.
-
Is there any confirmation on how long Lids will be out for?
Some news reports are saying 6 weeks while others say it's only a medial sprain and he'll only miss 1-2 weeks ???.
Brett Deledio injured the medial ligament in his left knee early in the second quarter, but last night was diagnosed with only a Grade 1 strain which should keep him out for a week or two.

Richmond looks to have lost Brett Deledio for at least six weeks after the youngster left the field in the second quarter with damage to his left medial ligament after being caught in an awkward tackle.

Who will replace him? Havent really be following things for a couple of weeks... Is JON a chance? Meyer looked good yesterday with a good turn of pace.

Hartigan should come back in. If Tuck gets reported and suspended then White might debut. Bringing back Gas and Chaffey isn't the future.
Doc Larkins said Lids would be only out for 1-2 weeks which is good news. We should give Lids a rest till after the mid-season break to be sure.
-
I think Gas will play for sure, as for Chaffey i think he might struggle unless he keeps getting BOG.
As much as Gas isnt a player for the future, he is still one of our best defenders. If we named our best 22(current ability), i would still have him in there.
-
I don't disagree Bully that Gas is still one of our best defenders in terms of stopping the opposition's best forward. My concern is how Gas, or more specificially his kicking, will affect our rebounding which has been strong over recent weeks. Joel has been the general of our defence and we've looked all the better for it.

Lids will miss 1-2 weeks.
Harts and Gas in next week
-
I suspect Gas might miss a few games throughout the rest of the season with "general soreness". Whether he plays will (IMHO) depend on the available match-ups. If the opponent has a big forward then OK, otherwise he's not necessarily necessary.

Dr Peter Larkins
BRETT DELEDIO
DIAGNOSIS:
KNEE: Deledio injured the inner (medial) side of his left knee when tackled heavily by Cat Jarad Rooke on Saturday. He was assisted from the field and did not return despite heavy strapping to the knee.
DOC SAYS ...
Deledio will undergo further assessment of his knee today but at this stage the club is hopeful he will only miss 1-2 matches.
