Title: Dr Andrew Peters joins Richmond Board (RFC)

Dr Andrew Peters has joined the Richmond Board. The Club’s nominations committee recommended that Dr Peters be appointed to fill the vacancy created when Peggy O’Neal completed her term as president. The Board unanimously endorsed the recommendation.

The Club also confirmed that Henriette Rothschild will be the new vice-president, taking over from Emmett Dunne.

While the board probably doesn't require his experience as an academic, this is a great appointment for other reasons. With all the garbage going down at Essendon and Hawthorn (among others) it's important to have indigenous representation at board level. It's become a big part of who we are as a club and long may it continue.
