Who does Richmond pick with pick 38?
3 names to look at who fit a need and cost the suns!

Spoke to someone from the Western jets... he said Richmond has told Tom Burton that if he is there at pick 38, that we will be taking him.

Rather a 173cm small forward than a 178cm HBF/mid at P38 tbh.

Latrelle Pickett sound an interesting choice too as a small forward.
Ditto
Ludowyke and Louis Emmett as bigs if they slide.
-
It’s an interesting question but we take the best of who is left and who fits a gap in our list.
I think we need a genuine Ruckman that has marking skills and is not a total gumbie below the knees and by hand / foot or quick inside / outside midsc
What’s the chance it’s another back flanker

Swan Districts small forward Leon Kickett meets with Richmond amid hopes of drafting.

Swan Districts small forward Leon Kickett — a late national combine invitee — sis a good chance to be picked up in the second round, with Richmond strongly linked. A 173cm prospect, Pickett plays with great energy and life, while his speed an elusiveness is eye-catching.
GWV Rebels small forward/midfielder Tayor Byrne, who also has interest from Hawthorn, Carlton, Fremantle, Brisbane and Richmond

Been looking at the guys left off twomeys phantom top30.
Phillipou looks a steal at that range although would be another mid/fwd to add to cumming/robey if we do end up with them.
Harley Barker and Sam Allen as quick wingmen would be good to add to fill a much needed position. Both coming off ACL’s though so there’s that risk there. Barker especially would be great although Twomey has him going in the late 20s.
Then you’ve got Emmett as a mobile ruck/fwd.
Looks like plenty of good options will fall to our pick 30ish. Think kellaway will have to settle for a rookie spot unless another club comes for him.

Going by the twomey draft there will be good players left.
Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves would be outstanding result.
Dalton too.
Id like one of the talls to slide.
Looks like 38 will come into 30-32ish(?)
-
Yeah should fall somewhere btw 30-34 from what I’ve seen.
-
Id be surprised if Dalton or Kickett were available at 38. Be a great result if so. Who knows with so many pick swaps and academy picks being removed to be used for points

Only 4 picks ahead of our next one.
Who we thinking? Emmett, NHH, Greeves, Phillipou, Dalton, Allen, kickett, Krasnadamskis?

Sorry you are correct, North #26, Bulldogs #27, West coast #31 and Melbourne #32 have the 4 next picks then us with pick #33
https://www.zerohanger.com/afl/afl-draft-order-2025/
I’ll take Geeves please but I doubt he’ll fall past Melbourne.
-
Not interested in Greeves personally, ranks below avg for both speed and endurance.
If we’re going for a midfielder would prefer NHH or the more hybrid Phillipou.

We've been heavily linked to Kickett.
Dalton was the other one if we hadn't drafted Grlj.

Blake Thredgold goes next to north one would think.
Credit to them: WhitlockM, FoS, Dovaston, Thredgold is pretty tidy over the two drafts

NHH is my first choice.
Emmett is very appealing too. Would be nice to have two developing rucks with Sims.
Phillipou iirc said Richmond were most keen on him.

Yeah Phillipou/NHH for me whichever is left available and there should surely be atleast 1 of them left at our pick. If both available then not sure who to favour.
I think we may be able to snag another player with our pick in the 60s which may end up somewhere in the 40-50 range by the end of it. Then kellaway at pick2 in the rookie draft.
-
NHH, Phillipou or Hunter Holmes

Archie Ludowyke is another interesting option.
Not sure if the club wants another big however.

I don’t think any key forward in this class is worth much chop. With Faull, Armstrong, Sims, Fawcett already on the list as young/developing forwards I don’t think it’s worthwhile taking another one unless they are rucks as well like Emmett.

Iirc his coaches said they think he can play back and he has rucked a little.
Very young and a good size. Very highly rated not too long ago.

Tylah Williams - wce nga not been bid on yet either.
-
So many draftable players still on the board - all of NHH, Phillipou, Allen, Emmett, Hetherton, Thredgold, Oudshoorn-Bennier, Greeves, Dalton, Ludowyke, Krasnadamskis, Wright, Rodriguez, LeRay, Kondogiannis really draftable for mine (and that's without considering tied players)

We will get a really handy player imo. Still plenty left… liked the rumours about kickett too.

Who’s your pick Sim? You’ve been on the money so far.
-
Think it’s a chook raffle at this point who we actually get but my tip will be Kickett as we are lacking with indigenous players and we have always liked to keep a strong presence there
If not kickett I think Phillipou has the most upside
-
Thank goodness for Tyler young
-
Sam Allen is my pick 😉

Is that just to keep the "Sam's" rolling through the door?? Lol

The Saints had been linked to a move into the first round for Jevan Phillipou — the brother of young gun Saint Matteas Phillipou — in recent weeks, but now might have him land in their lap without having to move up the order. Although Richmond has put work into the Woodville-West Torrens prospect.
Swan Districts small forward Leon Kickett — a late national combine invitee — is a good chance to be picked up in the second round, with Richmond strongly linked along with Fremantle, Carlton and Geelong. Change your name to The Oracle lol
I think NHH/Philappou at that pick is too good to pass up. They were ranked top15/20 all year.
Feel like our pick at 61 will come in a bit with more academy/father son bids and feel like we could pretty easily trade up without having to give up too much like maybe a swap of 3rd/4th rounds picks next year.

Nhh and greeves must have stunk up the interviews
