Patto, JON, Tambo and Foley on the bench.
Southern end has the breeze and Port won the toss.
-
Paddy and Gas deep in defence. Joel on Tredrea. Lids has Kane Cornes.
Not the start we needed. Goal to Lade in the first minute :scream.
-
Bugger browny missed.
-
Reckon there'd be lucky to be 15,000 ppl there - lots of spaces all around the ground.
-
Goal Hyde :gotigers
Tiges 1.1-7
Port 1.0-6
Less people means less influence on the umps :)
-
Didn't help Johnston who was the only one who wanted the ball - unfortunately, he dived on it and got pinged :banghead
-
That one was Tivva's fault. Ran down the ground and held onto it too long, kicked under pressure and coughed it up. They ran it straight back and goaled :banghead
-
Yep :scream
Port are winning the 50/50s at the moment. C'mon Tiges.
-
Port wasting a lot of opportunities - should be about 4 goals by now.
-
Tambling really bad error - kicked straight to a port player from a free kick 10 metres away, down the ground - goal :banghead
Really need a goal now to stop the run on from Port
-
Another turnover that costs a goal :banghead. We're playing into their hands by moving the ball too slowly. 8 inside 50s to just 2 to us.
-
Schultz is a good ploy that opposition backman have to worry about, excpet concentrating just on Richo.
Good mark and goal
-
Sarge goals :gotigers. We needed that one.
-
Peter burgoyne hamstring
-
Jay goal number 2
-
Polo been felled behind play
He's okay - nothing in it
-
Polo down on all fours off the ball. 5AA say Polo "slipped over" ::)
-
Port player just scragged him around the neck and he virtually did fall over
-
Another turnover (from the kick in) that gifts Port a goal. 3 goals they've got from our turnovers :scream.
-
Great play by Richo to keep that ball in play.
It was actually over the line IMO for a point, but Tuck played on and Petts got hold of it and around the neck.
Unfortunately missed a sitter :banghead
-
Good team goal for Tuck
Browny, handballed to Hyde to Tuck - Goal
-
Tigers starting to run now and passing and linking well
Famous last words lol
Browny poster - we're missing our own opportunities
-
One of our best plays down the ground for a goal.
Rainsey started it off :bow
-
As the commentators just said, if it wasn't for our costly turnovers in the first half of the quarter, we should be a mile in front.
Great turnaround in how we were playing :thumbsup
-
Tuck 8 possies
Foley 6 "
Pettifer 6 "
-
Browny another poster :banghead
-
Schultz is doing well up forward - creating options.
Great goal by Simmo
-
Port is flat footed and we're wasting opportunities. They're not going to play like this for the entire game, so we're not making the most of it.
Goal to Port when we had all the flow :banghead
-
Polo had another chance to goal from the same possie as last time where he missed.
Didn't have the confidence to go for it and kicked to the top of the goal - lucky Krak goaled :thumbsup
-
JON is on - Foley's best game for the season
-
Goal Krak
Hyde playing well as well
-
Foley is having a ripper.
Both sides missing gettable goals.
-
KB says Dew won't be playing next week because of what he did to Polo.
HOpe he was joking - nothing in it IMO
Shouldn't have done it, but not worth a suspension
Port playing ordinary - we should be 30 points up by now. Hope it doesn't come back to haunt us.
-
Agree MT
Foley is having a great game
Petts also finding plenty of it and i reckon Sugar is playing well also.
Go Tigers :gotigers
-
We'll take a 15 point lead at half-time. We missed some simple shots but so have they. Good stuff so far.
Foley, Tuck and Hyde turned the game our way in the midfield.
Simmo fantastic up against both Brogan and Lade.
Sugar having his best game for the year. Getting plenty of the ball and has shut down Shaun Burgoyne.
Defence solid. Joel shutting down Tredrea.
Our forward line is worrying them big time. That can't cope with Petts, Browny, Krak and Polo at ground level. Sarge allows Richo to lead up the ground and straigthen us up. Great seeing us for once play up the guts nd Port forced wide.
We just need to watch Dew and Lonie when they get in range of goal with their long kicks.
-
5AA making excuses for Port already. Saying they are flat as a tac ::).
-
4 am here.
:weights
-
We look flat now.
Port have had plenty of opportunities and kicking points fortunately
3 more shots at goal than us
-
Patty goal - strangest kick i've ever seen lol
-
That's passion for the Tiges Ox :clapping :thumbsup
6 possies to krak this quarter.
No one can kick a goal ???
Paddy GOAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLL! lol
Browny another :thumbsup
-
Browny goal when the Port player should have touched it
Woohoo!!!

f ucken oath boys and girls.
Tear them a new a-hole.
2 weeks running
-
Dunno why Joel doesn't kick in all the time.
He's been the general all year doing it. Just a couple of times tonight Patty's done it and he's been a bit tentative. Last effort he walked back and gave them a point.
-
They are doing us a favour with their pointkicking.
Simmoooooooooooo goal :gotigers
-
LMAO@Chad Cornes special comments.
KILLING THEM.
-
:rollin @ 5AA going nuts with each Port point
-
Since quarter time, Port have kicked 1.11 :rollin
-
Umps are trying to get them back in the game.
Got a few doubtful frees and one not paid to us when Petts was blatantly high tackled.
Keep it going, Tiges, you're doing it beautifully so far.
Young players really playing well, showing what a great future we have :gotigers
-
Well done, Krak also, 20 possies to 3/4 time :clapping
-
s-h-i-t they've started well
1.1 to Port
-
Wakey wakey Richmond. We need to learn to bury teams ::).
-
Browny just kicked a great goal.
-
Geez we needed that!
-
Debate whether it was Tuck's goal or whether Browny got a foot to the last goal
-
We just can't put them away :scream. Two shots for a point!
5AA gave it to Browny.
-
Can't put 'em away, but every time Port kick forward they're kicking straight to Patty lol
Really bad - so good to watch lol
-
Simmo off with a jarred knee :-\. We don't need more injuries :scream.
Rainesy off with the blood rule.
-
Didn't even mention Simmo on here, MT :banghead
-
Junk time! Heaps of mistakes.
-
Browny goal
Great work by our little forwards keeping the ball in and then linking and goaling :thumbsup
-
Browny goals :bow :gotigers
Moi you mozzed Simmo :wallywink
-
Browny goals :bow :gotigers
Moi you mozzed Simmo :wallywink
Oops :banghead
Any word on how he is?
-
42 secs left, a goal to finish off wuold be good
-
Port finish in style after the siren - A POINT lol :rollin
-
Interviewing Simmo after the game - if he's injured he's not letting on.
-
VICTORY :gotigers
Any word on how he is?
No further news Moi. He's been off since the first minute of the last. Went off after the first contest of the quarter.
-
:thumbsup :gotigers :sleep :thumbsup
-
Well done, Ox, a very tigerish effort.
Sleep, per chance to dream of a Tiger premiership lol
-
:cheersAnother hoodoo broken and about time too against sweet p.a
Top effort guys.
Gonna be a beauty next friday night."the dees dont like it....Rock the Gaspar...Rock the Gaspar"
-
Good win. Average game. Room for improvement. Professionally kept Port out of the game when we were in control- Very Clinical and thats very good. Very even performance all round. And I can now take credit for announcing just last week that Foley, Tuck and Krakouer should be traded- 3 first rounders surely headed our way! ;D

Reckon there'd be lucky to be 15,000 ppl there - lots of spaces all around the ground.
25000 Moi - and turns out Bay 140 was the cheer squad bay, so a good place to sit. My 2 yr old son thought the songs were pretty good (we were only 5 rows back), and he even clapped the RICHMOND - CLAP, CLAP, CLAP part. He also now has a 100% record for wins at games attended!

Well, he can come again lol
Did you manage to get close to getting a footy after the game?
The ground looked pretty empty on the tellie - 25,000 seems like they've made that figure up.
Who cares though? We won :thumbsup
-
Interviewing Simmo after the game - if he's injured he's not letting on.
No injuries listed in the media match reports so hopefully Simmo is ok and him spending the last quarter on the bench was just a precaution given the game was done and dusted.

A lot sit in the members, which doesn't get into camera shot much. A lot of others are outside having beer (don't ask me to explain that arrangement, no one here understands it). Couldn't get a footy, we were in the middle of the row and I think the players avoid the cheer squad as giving them football's would be a bit pointless. Would have had more chance on a quiet stuff instead.
-
hahaha Piping...what a shambles the drinking/smoking arrangement was. I reckon if it was like that at the G no one would ever enter the ground!!!
Was an awesome trip. Kicked on hard until 6am (when our flight left). Went to the Casino and celebrated in a very very Tigerish manner. Many a crows fans brought us drinks for beating their rivals.....and well the song just got belted out at random times. What a weekend. Heads up to the Greek Tiger boys who got a mini-van taxi for all of us on the way to the airport....brilliant night...but Im still paying for it today! Damn this hangover is feral!

Dew's good record saved him from more. Compared to what Lovett-Murray and Kerr just got from a soft tribunal tonight for what they both did, Dew seems unlucky to get 2 :-X.
Polo's tough as nails. Got up afterwards and killed them :thumbsup.

imo dews incident was far worse than lovett murray. dews was unprovoked, no need 4 it, NLM had the 2 carr bros harrassing him , both had aggressive holds on him, imo it was self defence and he should have got off because it would not have happed if those carr scum didnt handle him first.
-
imo dews incident was far worse than lovett murray. dews was unprovoked, no need 4 it
The past 2 weeks the opposition have tried to physically intimidate us particularly the cubs by going the man and not the ball but have failed miserably. We've remained focussed and disciplined while both the Pies and Port became a rabble. Also as Rainsey showed the week before we're not afraid to dish it out either :thumbsup.
