Interesting to hear Wayne at the press conference talking about the fact that never got the chance to be part of a premiership.
Sounds to me as though he wont be playing next season. Anyone else get the same feeling?

Sounded like that to me as well Bulluss that he'll give it away at the end of this year when he was talking about Richmond bringing in some young blokes over the next few years and that he won't be around by then. Sadly by the way he's played this year his legs are shot :'(.

If one player deserved a premiership at Richmond in the last 20 years it was Wayne Campbell.
Sadly, it was not to be. He should retire with some dignity at the end of the year rather than play on and descend further into Rogers/Duncan dud status.

I always keep forgetting how this works - If a player retires (of his own accord) say with still a year to go on his contract, does anyone know if the Club has to pay that player out for the whole contract or is the contract finito as of the date of retirement? I ask this cause Cambo still has a year to run on his.

Contract would be Finito

Greg Miller was interviewed on 3AW this evening and was asked this question.
He said Wayne would definitely play next season
But when asked whether Duncan & Rogers would be playing next year he said.............
NO
almost worth its own thread ;D
