Can we win?
-
Yes once we get rid of the duds in our side that can't hit simple targets and kick a ball between two big sticks :banghead.
3. Tambling - He might not have got the pill as much as others but his run and desperation got us back in the game and even a sniff.
2. Raines - Just love his no nonsense style.
1. Krakouer - would have got more if he didn't miss two shots. He and Blingers worried the dogs.
Apologies to Richo (worked his guts out).
Razor (who was pretty reasonable today) and the rest of our defence.
Patto and Staff were pretty good in the ruck with Simmo missing. We still got smashed out of the centre again though.
-
3 - Raines, could nearly have put his hands on the Rising Star trophy today.
2 - Tambo, his pace was fantastic today and really stepped up to the plate.
1 - J Bowden, put Johnson away after the first 15mins. I must admit i had smsed a fellow poster half way through the first qtr bagging the crap out of Joel for being so loose. To his credit he really did a good job and also gave us drive.

Terrific effort from the boys even though we didn't win. Smashed in the first quarter (shot ourselves in the foot with wayward goalkicking) but fought our way back and the game was am absolute ripper IMO.
3) J Bowden - Terrific general in the backline, despite have 3 goals kicked against him J Bowdo kept Brad Johnson pretty quiet and provide plenty of counter attacking and run
2) Rainsey - Awesome game from Rainsey, gave poor old Matt Robbins an absolute bath while still creating plenty of exciting run off the back line. Rainsey has to be the firm favourite for the Rising Star now!
1) Schulz - Thought Sarge was terrific. Presented and kicked a few goals but I was super impressed with his forward pressure and tackling. Laid a game high 8 tackles I think
Apologies to Lids (great 1st quarter but didn't see much after that, spent a lot of time on the bench i think?), Tucky (best game in a while, found plenty of hard ball and kicked it dangerously forward), Howat (impressive debut game) and Polo (kept Cooney to 10 possies and should have been in the best).
