Had his neck stretched today.
Don't like capital punishment, but willing to make an exception

Leaving him to rot in jail would have been ok for me. Hope he isn't now seen as a martyr and his hanging make things even worse in Iraq.
I'm quite confused why he'd be executed for crimes against humanity when his trial for genocide is still in progress. Then, I doubt I'd ever understand Iraqi justice and punishment.

The silly bugger should have hidden with his weapons of mass destruction. 8)

Me too FF. He should have had to face up in an international court to all the crimes and atrocities he committed.

No surprise hanging Saddam has made little difference to the virtual civil war going on in Iraq. 80 people have been killed within the past 24 hours or so.
