Title: Crash, fire and smoke in Burnley tunnel

3 Cars, 2 trucks crashed into the back of a broken down truck halfway through the Burnley tunnel. At least 3 dead   :'(. 100s evacuated due to the black smoke pouring out of the tunnel.

Heard on the 1.00pm news.

3 confirmed dead most likely from the one car.

4 cars and 3 trucks involved.

Both tunnels likely to be closed until tomorrow.

Certainly puts things into perspective I reckon ........... Ben who ????????

3aw are saying Citylink believes the tunnel might not re-open for another 48 hours.

On the news they said the tunnel will re-open on Tuesday.

SEN are saying the Monash Freeway has now been closed due to another accident tonight :(.
