Interesting to see both Gus and Carts on the extended bench. If Simmo is right to play, you'd have to say only one of the two rucks would be in.
Have to think that Shane Edwards would be lucky to hold his place along with Mitch Morton.
-
i think edwards has been good
imo Angus Graham, Mitch Morton, Daniel Jackson will miss out
-
I thought I saw that Edwards was the one who didn't get within 20 metres of McLeod last week in the second quarter. I was watching the TV to see who was picking him up and Shane was the only one within cooee.
-
Morton would have to miss for sure, he was terrible again last week after coming in as an emergency.
Didnt fire a shot last week so he should be dropped.
-
Schulz is named in the starting 18 so he's in.
Cartledge in for Patto. Explains why he was promoted.
Out of Polo and Connors you'd think to come in for King. I'd like both in the side so I would drop Jacko too.
Browny obviously wasn't right last week.

Indeed, If Simmo is right to play...

go into games with injured players you get raped
play a kid who is 100% fit you give your team a chance to win & find a new star
Richmond are too dumb to do any of this

Yes thats exactly right we are stupid. richo with his bruising is one example!!
Simmo should have been rested weeks ago and to be honest i blame Browny as much as the footy department.
Its his duty to us supporters that if his not right then put your hand up and say im not right.
instead by playing injured we were effectively playing one man short.

Geez Mitch is lucky!!
-
not playing Polo is going to cause damage to that lad
l hope he walks out the door & finds a club which will let him show his talent, cause Richmond dont deserve him if they treating him like that.
Selection panel are a bunch of nutcases

Polo didn't play for Coburg today so unless he's just been kept aside just in case there might be a late change tomorrow.
-
I'd prefer Polo in than Jacko but I hope we're just keeping Deano aside in case for Sunday and that Foley is okay.

I agree Tigermonk. I think we should encourage all our talent young players to spit the dummy if they don't get things handed to them on a silver platter. Actually lets suggest to Lids, Cotch, Foley etc that they should all leave if they are expected to work at all or they are asked to make sacrafices for the team at all... ???
Come on Monky - you are smarter than that.
Polo needs to continue to fight for his place in the team and wait until a spot opens up. He will be in our starting 22 soon enough if he earns it but until then he needs to continue to put pressure on the other midfielders with good performances in the two's.
We want to build resiliant players who never give up, drop their heads or look for the easy option. If our players start to get the sooks up becasue they don't automatically get a spot after a week or two playing for Coburg then perhaps you are right Tigermonk - Polo should be moved on.
For our sake and his, regardless whether he plays this weeks or next year, he keeps fighting to become a better player and earn his stripes for our club.

Meyer didnt play either for Coburg today.
Maybe there will be two late changes.

Meyer didn't pass a fitness test
