At Monday’s AFL CEOs’ meeting, an idea was floated to add an extra round to the 2023 season, per @petryan 👀
The idea would involve all 18 teams playing nine games in one state with no home ground advantage.

Another brainiac idea by the AFL. The H/A season isn't a touring circus :facepalm.

Caro reckons:
* 2023 season will start a week earlier.
* The "magic round" will be in Sydney during the school holidays - April 13-16.
* 5-6 games at the SCG
2-3 games at Accor Stadium (Olympic Stadium at Homebusch).
Potential 1 game in Blacktown for a smaller game (they are expecting not every game will get crowds).
* Club members get in for free.
* There will be a couple of double headers. Entry cost will be two games for the price of one.
* Players to get significant extra money.
* Club footy departments haven't been told about this yet, but they each will get an extra six-figure injection of cash.
