What you can order is all based on the "credit" you get as part of your membership.

Standard credit value is $50

If you want your plastic membership card, stickers and lanyard that will cost $15 of the credit

Would recommend everyone reads the FAQS before doing anything

Best news about this year is everything will actually be delivered. None of this redeeming in person crap

PS: small thing of note thanks to the email is looks like our major sponsors nib and Latitude are locked in for 2023  :clapping

RICHMOND MEMBER REWARDS FAQS

1. When will Richmond Member Rewards launch?

Richmond Member Rewards will launch mid-October!

2. I just joined as a 2023 member. When will I receive my login details for Richmond Member Rewards?

Your credit will be assigned to your Richmond Member Rewards account approximately 5-10 working days after you join or renew as a 2023 member from mid-October, 2023

3. What is Richmond Member Rewards?

Richmond Member Rewards is a new portal where you can choose and design your own membership pack! We're giving members more choice than ever before and you can redeem exclusive membership items using your Richmond Member Rewards credit!

4. How do I redeem my membership pack?

Login to Richmond Member Rewards using the login details sent to you via email! Your login details will be sent after you have renewed or signed up for season 2023.

Once you have logged in, choose the items you want to receive in your core pack! When you have made your choices, you can proceed to the shop. At a minimum, your credit will allow you to fully redeem your usual member items such as a card, lanyard, bumper sticker and cap/scarf.

Alternatively, you can opt out of some/all these items and use your allocated credit in the Richmond Member Rewards portal.

Once you have made all your choices for you and any family members on your account, proceed to check out and follow the prompts. Note your credit will be automatically applied at check out.

For instructions, please click here.

5. How much credit will I receive?

You can also choose to add a patch to your cap or scarf with your years of membership for an extra $5!

8. Can I get a barcoded card?

No. Your credit can only be used on the Richmond Member Rewards portal.

3 game membership comes under General admission

If you go to the membership website, each membership tells you if it qualifies for the program.

Some latest membership info:

Our current early 2023 tally is about 30k but that is changing rapidly as the rollover memberships are being processed.

Early next week, the new 'Member Rewards' campaign will be launched. An email will be sent out to all members with all the details.

Once you've selected the Member Rewards package that you want, then your membership package will be posted out to you.

Did they give you a dollar amount that you can spend on what you want?

ps. According to the membership dept. they are sending around 10k emails per day and hoping to be finished by the end of next week.

Yes it does show the total $$$ you have available

But it doesn't show the value of the "core" pack.

So if you have $50 on the entitlements screen it doesn't show the value of the core pack. So how do you know how much of the $50 gets eaten up by that core pack.

... I haven't clicked on anything yet as I am trying to find out if how I want to receive my 2nd Club XIII membership can be done ...

As I mentioned the instructions are vague. And the YouTube video you can look at is next to useless

When you click on "Redeem" it tells you the prices of each item that you can select as part of the core pack.

The maximum "core pack" spend is $50 (barcoded membership card + patched cap/scarf) and the minimum is $0 (digital membership only).

Any amount remaining is credit you can then spend on other merchandise.

What you 'buy' is added to your shopping cart.

When you are finished 'purchasing', go to the checkout.

ps. Anything above the $50 credit, obviously you have to pay extra for.

CORE PACK - ACCESS MEMBER

Your core pack contains a bumper sticker as well as your choice of a barcoded or commemorative card and lanyard plus your choice of a cap or a scarf with a patch!

Standard Member Card (Selected one option)

* Commemorative Card - $5
* Barcoded Card - $15
* Opt-Out (Digital Membership Card) - $0

Merchandise (Select one option)

* Cap - $30
* Cap & Patch - $35

Exactly, pretty disappointed about that

They actually said there would be 30 items to chose from going by the list it's only 24 (includes cap and scarf but excludes core pack stuff)

Will be speaking to the Club about it Monday or if I see someone today at the AFLW I'll be asking

The person I spoke to said it's the lapel pin but that didn't make sense to me as the video clearly said a keyring  :huh.

It doesn't make a difference for me because I first became a member in 2001 and so the last two digits of the year is the number of years I've been a member (i.e. 23 years in 2023). So I went with the richmond jumper lapel pin as it has 23 on it in the pic.

I spoke to someone from membership about it on Saturday and they were going to look into it as they understood that there would a keyring available. Also,  mentioned to them that the email says over 30 items available but currently only 24. Just on the 30 items that is also mentioned in today's HUN in their what clubs are offering membership wise

I've re-watched the Balmey/Hosko video and it is definitely a keyring and they both say keyring

Full credit to them though very much looking for feedback on the whole members reward program. We're the first Club to do it

Levelling Up in 2023

Same story, new chapter. In 2023 we’re levelling up, and we hope you, the Tiger Army, are ready to join us.

By Richmond Media
27 January 2023

Speaking at the 2022 Jack Dyer Medal with a bitter taste in his mouth following a premature exit from the final series, triple premiership coach Damien Hardwick implored his Richmond players and the broader Club to “just do the extra” ahead of 2023.

“Make that 100m sprint 110m, take the stairs, not the lift, and work that bit harder,” he raised.

‘Levelling up in 2023’ is Richmond’s membership campaign for the upcoming season, inspired by a fierce desire for the Club to return as a Strong and Bold premiership club, driven by a dedication to performing for its unwavering members, fans, and broader Tiger Army.

It’s the same story – a Club relentlessly pursuing a premiership – but a new chapter with new faces and fresh efforts.

Recruits Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper have lifted the star power at the Club, and players young and old, such as Hugo Ralphsmith and experienced defender Nathan Broad have represented throughout the pre-season that they, too, can reach new heights with the backing of hard work.

It’s time to level up. Are you with us?

Season 2023 is fast approaching; join the roar of the Tiger Army at the ‘G and be part of our levelled-up pursuit of premiership success.

Richmond and Collingwood fans help set new AFL membership record

https://www.codesports.com.au/afl/richmond-and-collingwood-fans-help-set-new-afl-membership-record/news-story/048cfac1a69ae9d7e8020951adea99c5

---------------------------------------------------------

AFL Club Membership breaks all-time record

AFL CEO-Elect Andrew Dillon has today announced a new all-time AFL Club membership record of 1,198,833* members (year to date).

The 1,198,833 number surpasses the record of 1,190,671 that was set in 2022.

One in 22 Australians is a member of an AFL club.

AFL club membership has increased 30 times in the past 32 years, with the exceptions being in the year 2000, when the AFL season was moved forward by a month to accommodate the Sydney Olympics, and 2020’s heavily impacted Covid-19 season.

Cut off for 2023 membership is August 31, with the clubs and the AFL to announce total and final numbers in September.

“More than 1.194 million people are club members and, so far, 5.49 million fans have attended the matches around the country across the first 18 rounds of the home and away season – our fans are like none other in world sport,” Mr Dillon said.

“The connection that footy fans have with their clubs is unmatched and I am so incredibly proud of all the supporters of our game around the country and all the work the clubs do to engage their communities.

“We have a wide-open race leading into the Toyota AFL Final Series, our 2023 NAB AFLW season is just around the corner and community footy finals take off, making the next couple of months the best on the footy calendar.

“On behalf of the AFL, I’d like to thank all our fans and every club member whose passion and support continues to make footy the greatest game in the world.”

So far seven clubs have announced all-time records – the Brisbane Lions, Carlton, Fremantle, the Geelong Cats, Melbourne, the Sydney Swans, and the Western Bulldogs – along with AFL Membership achieving its all-time member record.

Richmond, the West Coast Eagles, and Collingwood lead the 2023 membership tallies, with Richmond and West Coast recently announcing they passed 100,000 members each, and Collingwood are closing in on that mark again.

The West Coast Eagles have now exceeded 100,000 members in four separate seasons and topped the AFL membership tally last year with102,897 members.

Richmond has now passed 100,000 members for the sixth year running, after becoming the first sporting club in Australian history to pass 100,000 members in 2018.

In 2022, Collingwood became the third club in history to surpass 100,000 members while setting their new membership record of 100,384 members.

100,000 strong, six years in a row

Richmond CEO Brendon Gale spoke glowingly of the milestone.

“It is the consistent support from all of our fans that helps build, strengthen, and better the Richmond Football Club,” Gale said.

“Over the years, there have been highs and lows, but the Tiger Army continues to show up and support. This gives our players, coaches, and staff the best possible version of our Club.

“To reach 100,000 members for a sixth consecutive season is a significant achievement and something everyone involved with our Club can be proud of.”

Richmond players and the broader Club would like to celebrate this achievement with you. Join us at our Round 20 home game this Sunday afternoon against Melbourne at the MCG, secure your ticket through Ticketek.

2023 Finalised Club-by-Club membership tally

AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan has today announced a new all-time AFL Club membership record of 1,264,952 members.

The 1,264,952 number surpasses the all-time record of 1,190,671 that was set last year (+6.2 per cent).

One in 21 Australians is a member of an AFL club.

The 2023 total number consists of 852,678 adults, 103,966 concession members and 308,308 juniors.

Richmond has now passed 100,000 members for the sixth year running, after becoming the first sporting club in Australian history to pass 100,000 members in 2018.
