I spoke to someone from the Club today. 11 Tigers are definitely gone and there's a chance another may go by Friday.

Brown, Bowden, Sugar, Cogs, Schulz, Raines, JON, Petts, Patto, Cleve and Putt are all gone. I was told today Putt has been delisted.

Not sure about the rookie delistings but Gourdis was at training today. The only rookie listed player we didn't see today was Silvester but he's the only one I can't confirm as either staying or going.

Polak?

That is 4 failed big guys gone so far.

Leaves us a bit light on in that department.

look everyone is saying we are going to bottom out in 2010,but maybe we wont. All these players being de listed, traded etc are hardly the fabric of the 2009 team.Just maybe with better coaching,a better game plan, further development in cotchin, vickerty, and post ,a fit and firing foley and an influx of young enthusiastic recruits we can go better than last year.

I'm with you Gigantor.

We won't be as bad as most people think. I'm not expecting a finals berth, but don't think we'll grab the spoon.

Riewoldt, Collins, Cotchin, Connors, Rance have all had a taste and are coming into their third and fourth years. Connors still has question marks, but if he can knuckle down and give us 8-10 performances like the Hawks game a couple years back, that'll help.

I have a feeling Riewoldt will explode. I am expecting Hardwicks gameplan to deliver more than 20 Inside 50s per game, so he'll see plenty of it. Though it was minor, I liked the picture of Riewoldt, Pendlebury and Neon Leon in the HUN a couple of days back. Jack is wearing the Tiger polo, shows me that he is a proud tiger. The Collingscum players were just in casual clothes.

The players that are getting chopped are all rubbish, and there are still a few guys on the list that need to go as well, but contracts are keeping them there.

We'll be a young side don't forget and the home/away season is a 22 week marathon. A few injuries to key players and it'll make things tough. I won't be surprised if we are spoon favourites. The more important thing is where we'll be in 2012/13 rather than 2010. As I said in the training thread, the coaching staff are fully aware it won't be a quick turnaround.

Yeah I'm guessing it's Polak as well WAT but can't be sure. It may or may not happen going by what I was told. Polly was at training today apparently so we'll find out for certain on Friday.

i can not wait untill the other players are offically Delisted! lol!

so expecting "7" players delisted (Brown and Coughlan, we now but) from the above list and from what Mr "MT" said another player could be gone.

i think that could be Polak.

not sure about the Rookies, however i expect Silvester "The Cat" to be delisted.

funny how Pettifer and Putt were training yesterday, mentioned in the Training forum.

 :)

I think we might give Silvestor 1 more year.  If Hardwick can get some speed into him, he'll be alright.

I think that was a case of mistaken identity. The BF poster mistook Vickery with his cropped hair for Putt.

Just thinking a bit more on Polak - didn't the news story the other day (by Caro? ) say we intend to delist Polly and then re-draft him as a mature rookie? So that could be the other delisting.

There's a final list lodgement after the draft for us to delist players?
I would have thought we'd wait til we see who we get in the draft and who's left before we make a decision on cutting Polak

True that's the 3rd and final list lodgement after the National draft but before the PSD/rookie draft. The Club though has said it'll discuss Polak's future with him and his management this week.

If Silvestor aint quick at 25 he won't be much quicker under Hardwick.
