Off to the Cameo cinema last night to watch the Brad Pitt movie World War Z(the Z stands for zombies). From the word go this movie was action. The action didn't even stop to take a breath. The plot may  have been a bit thin at times ,but I went along to see this movie for some escapism and got it in spades.
If you like this genre of film I reckon this is a must
I give it

I saw World War Z last week and really didn't mind it. I thought the plot was really linear in that it just trotted along without any real consequence. The action and visuals were awesome though.

Has anyone seen After Earth? I was pretty excited when I first saw the trailer for it thinking it is going to be an awesome year for sci-fi with Elysium and Ender's Game (didn't get into the novels but still keen) still to come but I heard someone say it was pretty average. I love anything sci-fi and dystopian but the pickings have been awfully slim as of late.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvqjwTQ1Kqk Elysium trailer for anyone who hasn't seen.

Actually went to the cinema for the first time in a long time last evening

We went off to see Monsters Universty

Big fan of the animation films that comes out of the Pixar Studios. They've made some classics over the years

Was a huge fan of the first one so it was a given we'd go and see this one.

Perfect flick for the entire family or just for those us who are big kids at heart   ;D

I give this one

My favourite Pixar movie was (and I cant recall its title)  the one of the little robot stuck on a desolate earth who finds love  and adventure on a spaceship inhabited by people who left earth once it became a wasteland
