 Good work young fella.  :thumbsup

Let's hope playing for Richmond isn't the beginning of the end of a could've been career.  :pray

Don't think he's ready yet for senior footy. People are forgetting he had surgery
People are saying a Corey on one leg is better than Grigg on two....

And Nahas on 3

I don't think he should have been brought in so soon. FFS he didn't start running until February and full training only mid March barely played 2-3 full games at vfl level. I'm all for exposing kids to the big league but not before they're physically ready

If he can be one of the better players on ground in a wet game of VFL, playing in the guts,  then he is physically ready.
Whether he is technically ready is another thing.
I'm glad he's in.

Disagree
Massive difference between a slow vfl track and alf footy

I'm in two minds. It does seem rushed, but if he is in the best 22,  why not?

Didn't think I'd see this kid until after the bye at least... Surely short of conditioning, and in his first season too it seems way too early to bring him in...

Reckon he'll get the vest?

seems to be in the 18 looking at the team line up, can you still be sub from there or is it usually someone from the i/c?

Corey Ellis also provided an insight into the role he’s likely to play in his senior league debut . . .

I’m looking to play a bit of inside midfield.   Get the knees dirty, and head down, bum up, I guess,” he said.

“I’m just going to enjoy it (debut game) for what it is.  Not take too much pressure into the game and give it a good, hot crack.”

I'm all for pushing youth but bloody hell poor kid doesn't look ready. Tiny. No pre season, this was silly.

Poor Lennon works his ass off in the 2s for 2 years and gets looked over for aging Newman, Gordon, Lloyd and Co.

Ellis doesn't do a pre season, plays 1 good game and gets a senior gig.

Mixed messages from a circus football department..

I dont think he looks too bad. Could've kicked a goal or two. Yes he's small but he's hard at it and at the end of the day that's what we all want.
