Good work!  :thumbsup

Should the forum do our own mock draft with the users picking the picks and see how accurate we all are?  :lol

I can do better than that....................

Pick 72 - PASS

 :rollin :rollin

I also predict that player PASS will get quite a mention late in the draft  :thumbsup

next year is the draft everyone will be getting excited over. with our poor draw, i expect an early selection next year and hopefully with some good trading we can get a 2nd early pick.

The National Draft takes place at 10am this Saturday, November 26.

The draft will be broadcast live on SEN (1116 AM on the radio) from 9am as well as there being a live webcast on the AFL website.

As far as internet goes, forget out streaming SEN, it is impossible on draft day.

The AFL streaming was pretty good last year, but then again im on cable.

I wish it was shown live on tv, i mean has anyone ever seen an NBA draft?

It's like a massive shindig and you get to see plenty of highlights of the players, not to mention proper interviews with them!

In comparison the AFL draft is in a little hall with a bunch of tables and calling out of names!  :banghead

They use to show the draft on FTA tellie but once pay tv came along it was moved to there. Yeah the Europeans and Americans put on a massive show with these sorts of things. I bet when the World Cup draw is done next month, FIFA will have the flashing lights, the powerful orchestral music and most of the invitees will be past greats, when all it is is a guy spinning plastic balls with the names of countries inside them in a plastic sphere and pulling one out at a time like he's at the local RSL bingo.

I hope the SEN coverage is better than last year. The first round wasn't too bad  but for the rest of it half the time they talked over the call about kids already chosen and you missed hearing selections  ::).

It couldn't of been as bad as Kevin Sheehan blowing his load over and over again over the top 10 picks all through the rest of the draft!

Pretty much. The SEN guys just gave up following the draft about half way through. They were chatting away while in the background you could hear the call of names still going on.

Mark Harvey said on SEN the bombers will go after a midfielder. Hopefully in 10-15 mins that's right as it's good for us.
