Another record broken for Dimma.

He's now coached us to the most finals series in our history overtaking Hafey.

Coaches who have taken Richmond to multiple finals series:

Damien Hardwick (8 ): 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022.

Tom Hafey (7): 1967, 1969, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1975.

Frank 'Checker' Hughes (6): 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931 and 1932.

Jack Dyer (5): 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944 and 1947.

Perce Bentley (5): 1934, 1935, 1937, 1939 and 1940.

Dan Minogue (3): 1920, 1921 and 1924.

He’s already great IMO.

A 4th flag would cement him as one of the greatest ever.

Dimma is a coach who has achieved great accomplishments.

So very happy that Peggy & Benny supported him at the back end of 2016.

Need to keep him away from the final say at Selection Committee where he continues to play favourites that have been surpassed by the younger brigade.

Eight finals series and counting, 3 flags...of course he's great.

If he gets us up for a fourth flag this year, he’s leapt over Hafey, Jeans, Clarko and Sheedy as the best coach in my lifetime
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Damien Hardwick’s shock court appearance

The Richmond coach made a surprise appearance in court after being forced to front a magistrate this week — this is why.

A nothing story

Page 5 of the hard copy HUN today. Bottom right hand corner. Total of 6 very small paragraphs

Driving fine "blunder"

His company received an infringement notice for traffic offence (doesn't say what) it didn't get paid so it's ended up in court

He applied for an extension to nominate a driver, it was granted by the magistrate

Blah, blah, blah!

Dimma is just three games away from being the first to coach Richmond for 300 matches.

He's currently in 23rd spot for most games coached in the VFL/AFL.

"Worst team since Fitzroy" to 3-time premiers.

The first six weeks of 2010 were the toughest. 10 goal hidings every week is hard to watch. Took until the Adelaide game where we were competitive for 3 quarters followed by the Hawthorn narrow loss to build hope. The Port win followed by four in a row (including Jack's 10 goals against the Eagles) got everyone on board believing IMO. That with patience and the Club finally sticking to the plan on and off-field, we would finally get there as that then young core group of Jack, Cotch, Dusty, etc reached their prime together.

I was there that day and it was magical.

Jack also kicked 20 goals in the 4 weeks beforehand. Was very excited by that. When he kicked 5 in the first quarter vs eagles I said to my dad Sheesh he could kick 10 today haha. Lean 2nd and 3rd quarter one goal each so into 3qt with 7 to his name I thought nah maybe he won't kick 10 but then 3 in the last quarter and some from very challenging angles too it was amazing.
