I reckon;

Batchelor will move to either 7 or 11 (my preference is 7)

Webberley might get the poisoned challis in 22

Post may be able to change now to say 20

Dea will get either 2 or 11 (IMHO deserves 11  ;D)

Helbig to 15

Ben Griffiths - number 5

I suppose one of the questions is what about Conca?

Number 30 is a pretty significant number at Tigerland but he was given it because it was a high number...

Should he keep it or go for a lower number  :huh

Can't see Vickery changing seeing 29 is probably the most famous number behind 17 at Tigerland

No.22 should be permanently retired  :lol

What was wrong with Barry Rowlings??

Was thinking the more recent wearers of the number tiga..... JON, Nason = GONESKIS very quickly after wearing it  ;D

I'd give Batchelor the Tram Tracks as Number 7 always reminds me of Marc Dragecevic's very unfortunate and injury prone career.

A bit nervous if you were Webbs on his own down the bottom with all those who were around his locker either promoted to a higher number or given the flick.

Heslin hasnt got a number yet?

He has asked for a picture of a fist and a potato

closest thing the club could come up with was 80

He is deliberating this option

I agree actually, who really cares .
Some guys should just concentrate on getting a kick and a bit of contested ball.

Of course you don't agree with anything the club does.  But where in all this did it say the players were responsible for sitting down and going through this process?  At the end of the day they get asked by the club if they want a new number xx or keep their old one, nothing more than a 1 second answer to a question.  Hardly taking up much time that could be spent on "getting a kick or contested ball" now is it.  For God's sake Jack, give it a break.

do you really need a sub-committee, ? please spare me.
Tell you nuffers something funny.
At a board meeting probably 6-8 years ago, there was a debate about there flower arrangements at the Presidents lunch. ::) ::)
The feedback from the wifes of the board members was that they werent happy.
Meeting closed and topic then raised at next meeting.
My mail was that the ''footy person"' at the time spat the dummy.
Yep, lets have a sub-committe  for numbers :birthday

You know Jack your points lose any credibility when you continue to bring up stuff that supposedly happened 6-8 years ago - who gives a rats to be honest what happened at board meeting 6-8 years ago.

And if a 2nd year player walks into the coaches or Footy Mgrs office and says I want to wear number 3 then yeah I reckon you need someone, probably not a committee to say "sorry kid that number means something at this club you've got to earn that right"

Yeah, I'm with you WP a committee on this is overkill in the extreme.

This actually sums up why I don't like Cameron, it has him all over it.

All sizzle, no sausage.

If I look at the numbers issue, I see that Postie still has 37.  It appears to me to be a message to him that he still hasn't "arrived" and that he has only one year left on his contract.  I don't know what Ben Griffiths has done that puts him ahead of Postie, but that seems to be the message.

That's interesting mate, I was at a similar committee meeting one night where the topic of discussion was how to stop the skins from popping off the Sav's! Punters were complaining that a busted Sav all knotted up in a slice of bread with sauce was to hard to eat........Committee's have merit, I'm glade we have a number comittee ;D
