Saints got a couple of underdone players.
-
Thought those two would go, forgot about Petterd, looks like Val will have to wait again.
-
Saints pushing hard for a win with those oldies.
Hope we smash them and their supporters go home at half time
-
Saints got a couple of underdone players.
So do we WOWEE
-
Too many HBF's in the side for my liking. Vlaustin should have been included.
-
Saints got a couple of underdone players.
They are good players, how underdone are they?
-
Isn't Fisher risking a stress fracture by going in already?
Can smell late change for them. If anything happens to Fisher their backline is shot and our blokes will be doing cart wheels in the forward 50.
-
Ellis Lucky. Thought a touch harsh regarding Griffiths. I suppose Petterd can play forward or back
-
anyone got the lineup ::)

Go Tiges!
-
Ellis very lucky for mine!
-
I reckon nahas was stiff, he got like 10 minutes , and was involved in 3 or 4 passages of play, didnt think could ask much more :huh
-
Ben will be back sooner rather than later ,just needs to go back to the magoos and find some leather
-
Griff needed a spell, heck he made hampson look like a he was in the team of the century...hope he gets back , he has a bit too offer :thumbsup
-
Ellis very lucky for mine!
Late change tomorrow night.
In: Knights
Out: Ellis
Secret weapon is knights. :shh
-
Might be only a few average blokes missing out, but at least we're getting some depth and can't fit in everyone who have previously walked straight in.
Saints fans seem pretty sure Fisher won't play.
-
No Kosi or Hickey, means no Grff.. no-one for him to play on. he'll be back looking forward to Petterd. I'm looking forward to Petterd playing, im guessing a Sub but maybe Ellis will be the Sub.

Reckon Ellis will start as sub. Petterd will likely have an opponent.

great to see Grimes back!
-
Bengal hope this time round Grimesy never misses another game .

Me to.. i would be happy for him to have another week in the magoos but if he's ready lets get him in.. Its good for us to be in a position to be able to drop players and bring in others to match up with the opposition

Two Tiger changes
By richmondfc.com.au6:16pm AEDT Thursday, April 4, 2013
Young gun defender, Dylan Grimes, will play his first game for Richmond in more than nine months, when he lines up against St Kilda in Friday night’s encounter at the MCG.
Grimes, who has overcome significant hamstring trouble, has been recalled to the line-up, in one of two changes the Tigers have made for the Round 2 clash.
Former Melbourne utility Ricky Petterd will make his debut for Richmond, after missing the opening round victory over Carlton with a groin injury.
They replace Ben Griffiths and Robin Nahas, who have both been omitted.

Shhh :shh
Hard to keep ur spot with the weirdo breathing down your neck.

That weirdo is lucky he can play otherwise parents would complain every time he made eye contact with a child.

I like the balance of the side this week especially with the Grimes inclusion and Petterd for Nahas.
Just straightens us up abit and will help to stretch them at both ends of the ground.
Petterd can play forward and back and can free up a Newman to play forward of the centre where he can use his disposal. Ellis may be the sub. Played the role beautifully in the practice match against Essendon and was a real contributing factor to us overrunning them that day. With the Aints underdone and having played in the humidity on Sat night wth us having two days extra to recover they may tire quicker and some fresh legs ie Ellis will be just the type of thing that we can overrun them in the second half on a big ground and one they seldom play on. :thumbsup
-
My only query on the changes is that we are taking out one tall defender and one small forward/midfielder and replacing them with a tall defender and a tall/mid-sized defender. Are we going too tall? Can Petterd play on a one of their small dangerous forwards?
-
Can't have them all on the ground at the same time.
I reckon Milera is the dark horse.
We have Batch, Morris, Petterd they can't all have an impact.
Milne kicked 1 and Saad 2 last year with Milera a few also.
Key is midfield pressure. We can maintain pressure for the whole game as we did last week for 3 quarters last week, we'll be fine.
Other than the last quarter last week Yarran, Betts and Garlett have little impact on the game. I expect the same tomorrow and they can't all be on the ground at the same time. :yep
-

:lol He'll creep Milne out of the game.

I remember Saad looking dangerous everytime he got near the ball last year, cant recall if he missed a few sitters but was regularly getting into dangerous positions stretching us all night. Has serious speed. Anyhow, like you said, if the midfield do their job and the fwds finish off their chances then it wont matter. Hope we smash them - for me big danger game only bc in the past these are the exact types of games we would drop. Just got to keep reminding myself its a new richmond now.

If you can point out where someone has said Griff beat Hampson that would be handy..

i thought Jackson was one of our best players!! looking at the coachs votes it seems they agreed.

Jackson earned another go
Unfortunately
-
I think Nahas may have been the sub again, so instead of playing possibly 30 minutes in 2 weeks, they want him to get in a full game in the VFL.

I am barely 30 and I know ----- isn't an insult. How old are you? teenager? You need to read again.
Barely 30, i remember when i turned 30 many years ago, so please..
And i find WAT's comment ok, he didnt name call and didnt bate, he merely made a reference to your own comment which was questioning whether i was a teenager which could be deemed bating..
-
Thread derailed.
On topic. Tiges v Saints 2012 on Fox Footy.
-
Anyway.. i cant be asked debating with someone over their own wisdom..
I'm looking forward to the game tonight its my day off from work and i'll be heading in early.
A 4 quarter effort is what we need and we will no doubt win by a heap. It will eventually be necessary to build percentage and we can start here. I was looking at the past 5 games and it really shows our progress.
win by 5
draw
loss by 21
loss by 38
loss by 56
By the pattern we should win by 20 odd points!
-
Yes let's get back to the WEIRDO :clapping

Snip
Stick to the topic

I watched his game very closely. He gave away a needless 50 metre penalty and his disposal was average to say this least. Note none of the papers had him in the best.
-
I think Nahas may have been the sub again, so instead of playing possibly 30 minutes in 2 weeks, they want him to get in a full game in the VFL.
I thought maybe because he broke a team direction in last quarter when he played on rather than slowing it done. Harwick mentioned that in a post game interview.

could well be right eliminator, but i was thinking along the lines of Waynes theory, prob just want him to get plenty of miles in the legs and sharpen up for the following weeks.
-
Sorry as the side changed or is this just another opportunity to bag Jackson for no good reason??
He played better than he has payed for a long time last week and better than a few still in he side this week!
