As the title says - Which Tiger players are elite? At this time last year, Champion Data said Lids, Jack, Titch & Rance.
Also, who of our younger players do you think could become elite?
-
Lids, Jack, Rance, Cotch & Dusty.
All elite but none have proven to be in the "greats" bracket yet.
The next tier down is very skinny tho
-
Cotchin:-
2013 - let Carlton run over the top of us in a final on his watch
2014 - kicked against the wind against Port
2015 - 9 disposals against north
For a so called elite player he sure does keep playing terribly when it actually matters.
Something is very wrong with this picture
-
I will tell you after round 1..
-
I will tell you after we win a final.
fixed.
-
None because they lack in comparative consistency to the opposition "Elitists"

You are correct except you are harsh about 2013. He was one of the best on ground in that game over the four quarters.

My recollection of 2013 is similar to yours, but just in case wine has dulled the years I went for the stats
http://www.richmondfc.com.au/season/statistics
Player Kicks Handballs Disposals Marks Hit-outs Frees For Frees Agst Tackles Goals
Trent Cotchin 22 4 26 4 0 0 1 2 4 2
But maybe the fact that his mere presence didnt inspire the 10 or so spuds on the ground to lift can be counted against him
-
Only three players stood up when the chips were down in the 2013 EF - Cotchin, Maric & Vlastuin. Fact.
-
Yeah chimps the problem you morons

Was he on the list before the rookie list?
Why wasn't he promoted to the rookie list that year?

It's OK your point is still valid, why wasn't he in our list in 2013, someone at the RFC has a lot to answer for
-
Could Miles become elite this year?
I think Yes.
He must be in our top 6 players
-
Wouldn't big in our top 5
Not far off 6
His last effort was indeed class
-
in most supporters eyes I think Miles is elite Just needs to be consistant over a long period to win over the rest of the punters
-
In most supporters eyes
He'd be a rung or two below the 'big 5'
As much as I do love him (a big amount)

Have always loved Caros writing...
