Had to get that flair and intuition knocked out of him. We won't have none of that stuff at Richmond.

Looked great in his first year. Even kicked some sensational running goals.

Looks over-coached ATM. Need to cut the leash off.

bollocks, yet another example of a player loosing their natural attacking flair due to under coaching

Plenty of mates.

Doesn't excuse how terrible his game was. Totally unacceptable from him. He's one player I don't expect to lower his colours. He was comprehensively beaten and it doesn't matter how many "mates" played poorly.

That rubbish he dished up tonight is unacceptable and he should be embarrassed by it.

Received another head knock early, not trying to totally defend his poor game but players returning from a concussion break have a history of having poor/quiet games.

I am worried for him and the team because he is playing poor footy. Put him back on the HB or it's VFL for mine. In what has been a great start to the season, Vlastuin has been poor.

Funny, because I thought he was very good against Collingwood...

Maybe in your eyes but he is way off at the moment in mine. We need him firing as he looks lost as a player.

Actually think the only times he's looked comfortable was when we've sent him back

But today he was just terrible.

Didn't help himself when playing CHF he constantly played from behind. Really disappointing effort today

Wasn't alone, but in the 1st when we were on, he was MIA

Is as good fwd as Morris is in defence.

I agree he hasnt been good and struggled today BUT he was asked to play tall and to compete on Talia in the air which is just ridiculous. He's still finding his feet as a mid/fwd let alone having to then step up and play as a decoy tall fwd.

It was almost as frustrating as watching conca and Ellis rotating on and off jenkins

Match up wasn't great.  He cannot compete against taller marking players, he got targeted a lot for some dirty rough play, had his nose smashed, got choked by some prick and it was all kosher apparently.

Not playing well but as already noted was made to look worse by having high balls put in his head against Talia/ Lever etc.

Him, Caddy and Martin need to learn to get on their bike in that situation and stop playing from behind trying to nudge their opponent under the ball. Lazy football imo.

A couple of weeks back in the backline is what I'd do. He is confident there as he has shown that the last few years.
Then slowly introduce him back into the midfield rotations once he gets a bit of touch back.

Unfortunately our depth doesn't allow us to play him in the twos at this stage and I personally don't think his form has even warranted that.

Except after his first year or so he loved the safety of defense with the gutless half back safety chip. Do we want to go back to this cancer of a game plan? We didnt try to move him fwd for good looks. There was a reason.

Beginning to think he should just be moved on. Not the first cab off the rank though.

Not sure I get what you are saying?
Vlastuin has nothing to do with the game plan.
I'm sure if he was played back for a couple of weeks he would play our new style of attacking footy.

Disagree-  Corey Ellis is ready to go.

Has vlastuin ever really stood out ? I think he's a solid player but maybe just a role player down back. I was hoping he could become a contested machine in the mid but so far not so good.

Let's face it, he's overrated by all on this forum. Doesn't make him a bad footballer but he is no more a key player than Reece Conca.
People on this forum won't like the comparison because it makes them look stupid but it's the truth.

I still believe in Vlastuin. He was capt of vic metro and a clearance machine as a junior. You don't capt vic metro if you are a potato. He needs to be played in his natural position. Either on ball or half back. To be honest i would actually have prestia more forward and keep vlastuin at the coal face as he clearly prefers the more physical stuff

Needs to play vfl for a few weeks either in defense or in the midfield or both.
There are options but it would putting up with some pain in the short term and noone wants that not even most on this forum.
