Tigers turn up the heat on the 'enforcers'

Richmond's players have demanded their senior figures "stand up" as they attempt to steady a season suddenly under pressure.
Vice-captain Brett Deledio has revealed there have been forthright words between the players, with senior players outside of the leadership group of Trent Cotchin, Shane Edwards, Ivan Maric, Alex Rance and Deledio also expected to show maturity and enforce on-field rules.
A lack of leadership has been blamed for a scratchy start to the campaign, heading into Friday night's clash against West Coast at Domain Stadium.
Cotchin had his role questioned publicly after the loss to Collingwood, but he responded with 32 disposals and a goal against the Crows, also a loss, on Saturday.
"How can Trent be solely responsible for every single play? I know he is the captain. He sets up his midfield but we have other leaders, senior players, in other positions on the field that need to take some responsibility," Deledio said on Tuesday.
"That basically has been the discussion around the club that, yes, Trent is our captain and we have got our leadership group, albeit myself, Shane and Ivan weren't playing that game [against the Pies], but we have some senior players out there [and] we see you guys as leaders anyway, start to stand up and take some responsibility and get our set-ups right and we don't lose these games."

More propaganda and mollycoddling.
Nobody ever suggested Cotchin was responsible for every single play.
They have questioned his leadership and his poor skill level and inconsistency.
And now what....we get a presser from an injured bloke who says that now the other seniors are going to "stand up" ?
stuffn spare me Willya.
As long as hardwick is leading them, there'll be no real leadership, no matter what they try.

After 3 years of these crap starts they still haven't learnt anything.
Still the same coaching staff, same recruiting team, the same development debacle. This gig would have to be one of the safest jobs in the world as you can continue to fail but they'll give you another contract extension in the name of stability. It's a lifetime job at punt road nowadays. One big happy family.

All smoke and mirrors, until the players can do something on the field then all this talk is hollow. We hear the same thing at the start of every season and still no lessons learnt. If a race horse trainer consistently couldn't get a horse up for the big races the owners would sack the trainer or the horse would go to the glue factory. It's quite obvious that we have issues somewhere given our slow starts but no one seems to know how to fix the problem.

They haven't show up for 3 straight elimination finals, I'm not sure why it will start now..
Hardwick is doing one thing right and that's getting senior football into young players.
Not convinced it's his directive though..

Wouldn't be doing so if not for the injury status :whistle

All talk and bulldust coming out from the club get on with it .

The Doggies get bundled out in an elimination final and start the season breathing fire.
Adelaide go a week further, lose the best player in the AFL, they start the season breathing fire as well.
We come out like we've spent the whole pre-season on the Relton Roberts training regime.
