Football is just unfair at times but they do say if it doesnt kill you it will make you stronger.
That is the hope for Damien Hardwick because it looks a tough year ahead for the Tigers no matter how you look at it.
Changes have been made on and off the field but what’s come into the club is balanced by what has left.
Dion Prestia, Toby Nankervis and Josh Caddy are handy inclusions, but Brett Deledio and Ty Vickery are big outs.
It may be left to the Tigers first draft pick in Shai Bolton to be the excitement machine at Tigerland.
Alex Rance will hold down defence and Jack Riewoldt is again the go to in attack but connecting the two stars will not be easy.
11 games at the MCG and four at Etihad looks great but it may simply be a familiar ground to get beaten on in 2017.
It will not be the year of the Tiger.
18. Carlton - 3 wins

Port Adelaide 13 wins :lol

I'm not getting the love for the Cats??
-
he is spot on
except i wouldn't class Ty as a big OUT
-
Last year many experts picked us as close to top 4.....
That should tell us something.....
-
For starters he is missing 4 games.
Anyone doing a season prediction should get that right at the very least.
-
Its just the opinion from a infinitesimal media lightweight...nothing to see here...

then he's hardly spot on then ?

He has Geelong on top with 18 wins??
Can't see them doing that after they lost Caddy......

I can't see them doing that when after Danger and J. Selwood, it all drops off pretty quickly. A bunch of good ordinary players.

Guthrie's a gun....

I tend to agree. The Dees are in pretty good shape I recon.
-
Yep.
No glaring weaknesses except maybe short one KPP back. Jprdan Lewis for nothing was an absolute steal!

I thought they were in good shape two three yrs ago and said as much. Jumped the gun just a little but you could see and still can see what they are building.

When was the last time those clowns played finals? Promised a lot and delivered nothing for a long time now.

I guess he went one step further and has us bottom 2. Most here think we are not finals material but very few believe we are bottom 2. I find it difficult to believe that this year Brisbane will pass us but I guess anything is possible.
-
Sorry boys that's it , we've had our four wins .
Hopefully next year is a better year for the tigers .
