Biggie still suspended.
Thug life!
Oh wait, that’s 2pac....
-
The real question is - can Biggie play on smalls? :shh
-
Stack with the first goal :gotigers
Rich 1.2-8
Casey 0.0-0

-
CCJ, RCD and MJR playing in the ressies.
-
Umps miss a HTB against Melbourne and then pay ball against us to gift Casey a goal ::).
9 - 8
-
McDonagh long ping on the run misses. Casey gets out of the back after a kick-in for a goal.
10 - 15
-
Umps are stuffen hopeless pricks
-
These umps :facepalm.
Dee spun around 360 in the tackle and drops the ball. Ump doesn't blow his whistle. Then there's a high arm and the ump pays too high to Casey :banghead. They then go forward for a goal.
10 - 22
-
Naish is poo. No left foot cost us another goal
-
Making too many basic mistakes. CCJ's handball in the middle is too behind his running teammate. Turnover results in a Casey goal.
10 - 28
-
That should have been 50 to Stack for the man on the mark not standing ::).
Finally we actually got a free!
CCJ held 40 out. Goal! :gotigers
Rich 2.4-16
Casey 4.4-28
-
Another pathetic decision by the umps gifts the, a goal. It’s stuffen hopeless
-
Another soft free to Casey in front of the sticks. We're not allowed to spoil :banghead.
16 - 34
-
Got to lead in front Samson. That was a lace out pass from MJR.
-
Poor decision by CCJ. Should have gone for goal 40m out with an open goal.
-
Only 3 players look AFL standard: Rioli, RCD and Stack the rest are poo.
Chol getting smashed by Daw, Caddy hasn’t touched it. Naish and DES still poo themselves and the umpiring has been stuffen woeful
Martyn and Ralphsmith both hardly touched it also
-
Quarter time
Richmond 2.4-16
Casey 5.4-34
Goals: Coleman-Jones, Stack.
First 10 mins was okay but an ordinary last 20. Umps aren't pathetic but we need to fix up our decision making and execution. Too many dumb mistakes with ball in hand. We're getting beaten in the middle as well and we're playing from behind at the bookends. Need to lift across the park!
-
What number is Cumberland?
-
What number is Cumberland?
#38
Looks like Cumberland just got reported for a sling tackle.
Well if the ump had paid the HTB free to MJR right before it ::), it would've been avoided.
-
Another goal to Casey (Ben Brown).
16 - 40
-
Straight out of the middle for another to Casey. Too easy. Getting smashed in the centre.
16 - 46
-
Pathetic game from a bunch of hacks. Chol, Caddy, Naish, CCJ, Martyn all not up to it. It’s stuffen embarrassing
-
Tiger supporter just yelled out "You're a dog, umpire" lol.
Ump #31 is especially clueless.
-
Ryan is having a mare today. We get the turnover, we have an open F50 and he passes it straight to a Casey defender.
-
Naish is a stuffen spud. Turns it over every time
-
That play sums up our day so far. Chol marks but doesn't kick it inside 50. Runs around in circles and handpasses it backwards to Naish who chips it 20m straight to a Casey player :P.
Those upfield have lost trust in our forwards cause they are being beaten easily.
-
Can someone tell our tall forwards to play in bloody front! Lead at the ball :banghead.
-
Any stuffen chance we get on a man? Just waltz through the middle
-
That's the difference. Our forwards are stagnant playing behind their opponent while Ben Brown and Weideman lead up to their mids. That last play from our F50 to theirs was a training drill for Casey.
16 - 55
-
The worst game of VFL from our team since before MaCrae’s time. Haven’t scored this qtr and don’t look like it
-
(https://media.prod.bunnings.com.au/api/public/content/025a1e4648f348808d5e49eb3ce9d5be?v=061ab734&t=w500dpr1)
-
LOL. Chol takes a speckie against 3 defenders. Only way we can score a goal is non-conventional :gotigers.
Rich 3.4-22
Casey 8.8-56
-
Really need to nail this year's draft.... :shh
-
Outside of Meville, Street and McDonagh our VFL listed players are local park standard
-
Half-time
Richmond 2.4 3.5-23
Casey 5.4 8.8-56
Goals: Coleman-Jones, Chol, Stack.
Deplorable! Outworked and out-paced. Smashed across the park. The last couple of minutes was the only time we looked capable of scoring.
Aside from MJR, no one else deserves promotion to the seniors next week. Our rotating 3 tall ruck/forwards have especially been woeful up forward constantly playing from behind. Poor Samson Ryan is having a mare today.
-
CCJ for Tom Green? Were do we sign!? :shh
-
Should just cut Naish, DES and Miller now. Saves them having to do it at the end of the year
Caddy won’t play seniors again this year on this effort. Has dropped his bottom lip. Need to move Stack to the backline also
-
We can't even touch Ben Brown today without it being a free. #protectedspecies
-
Seriously these umps are a joke!
-
These umps are a disgrace. That was a mark to Chol.
Anyway we get it back at HB.
And that's better Mabs. Leading up at the ball. Goal! :gotigers.
Rich 4.5-29
Casey 8.9-57
-
Casey goal. Another to Ben Brown.
29 - 63
-
Umps give 50 to Casey (back-chat?). Another goal gifted!
29 - 70
Absolutely bucketing down now by the way.
-
Caddy is a stuffen idiot
-
Definitely need to draft another genuine KPF not another ruck/forward...even Josh Green looked more convincing than any of our blokes when he drifted forward in the VFL the other night ... :shh
-
#FreeKickCasey
Now they are getting frees for things nowhere near the play.
-
Geez we've coughed up soft goals today. That was just a panic nothing handball in the middle then.
29 - 78
-
This game is unwatchable. The clueless stuffen umps have completely stuffed it for Richmomd supporters
-
Caddy is a stuffen idiot
#journeyman :shh
-
We're woeful but so are these umps. Another clear HTB not paid to us.
-
Club should be lodging an official complaint...never seen a more blatant stitch up... :shh
-
Outside of Meville, Street and McDonagh our VFL listed players are local park standard
Covid made us lose all our VFL-listed premiership players. So we've had to start again. Most of our VFL-listed players now are only 18-21 year olds. Some have really been exposed today.
-
Club should be lodging an official complaint...never seen a more blatant stitch up... :shh
Problem is the Club knows nothing will be done even if they did lodge a complaint, so we don't bother.
-
Anyone have the free kick stat, it would have to be 3X to them, can only think of about 5 our way up until this point.
-
Club should be lodging an official complaint...never seen a more blatant stitch up... :shh
Problem is the Club knows nothing will be done even if they did lodge a complaint, so we don't bother.
Nothing might be done but all of a sudden the umps know we think they are idiots. It plays in their mind and has to have some effect
-
3/4 time
Richmond 2.4 3.5 4.5-29
Casey 5.4 8.8 11.14-80
Goals: Chol 2, Coleman-Jones, Stack.
Apart from the first 5 mins when we had a bit of a lift in intensity and got a goal, it was more of the same. Out-classed and out-worked even in the wet.
Thought CCJ was at least better that quarter. Nothing much else to be positive about.
-
Anyone have the free kick stat, it would have to be 3X to them, can only think of about 5 our way up until this point.
30 free kicks them and 5 to us.
-
Stack had a good qtr.
Haven’t seen Ralphsmith since the first 5mins.......injures?
-
LOL - DES has had 3 touches in total
-
Club should be lodging an official complaint...never seen a more blatant stitch up... :shh
Problem is the Club knows nothing will be done even if they did lodge a complaint, so we don't bother.
Nothing might be done but all of a sudden the umps know we think they are idiots. It plays in their mind and has to have some effect
The idiots will probably hold a grudge because we complained and even pay more frees against us if that's possible :P.
-
That was the only good thing Ryan has done today. Kept kicking the ball in front of him then chip kicked for a goal :gotigers.
Rich 5.5-35
Casey 12.15-87
-
Is RCD playing and Dow ?.
-
Naish (25 disposals) long and Chol marks high in the pack 45 out. Misses.
36 - 89
-
Is RCD playing and Dow ?.
RCD yes. Ordinary game like many of his teammates. We've been beaten badly out of the middle.
Dow no (still out due to that appendix).
-
Worst on ground a toss up between Caddy and DES. I’d sack them both after their shiteful efforts today
-
Stop stuffing whistling ya flog.... >:(
-
We actually get a clean centre clearance :o. But Ryan is behind his opponent again and Caddy's snap under pressure misses.
37 - 96
-
Siren puts us out of our misery. Lost by 59 points. Felt more like a 100 point loss which it would've been if Casey had kicked straighter.
-
Final Score
Richmond 2.4 3.5 4.5 5.7-37
Casey 5.4 8.8 11.14 13.18-96
Goals: Chol 2, Coleman-Jones, Stack, Ryan.
Woeful! Not even one positive. No one deserves to get a seniors game after that :help.
Only ones worse than us were the biased umps :thumbsdown.
-
Leading disposal getters:
Naish 28
CCJ 18
McDonagh 17
Caddy 16
Morris 16
Martyn 16
-
Did well to keep them to double figures #littlewins :shh
-
Leading disposal getters:
Naish 28
CCJ 18
McDonagh 17
Caddy 16
Morris 16
Martyn 16
One dose of semi-leather poisoning clearly too much for Emergency. #RCDMIA :shh

Rebuild - sack the bloody recruiters!
-
Not sure what the final free count was but towards the end of the game it was 11-28 :help :thumbsdown.
-
The umpires are stuffen cheats. There is no other explanation
-
RFC has to take action
Enough is enough
-
15 - 33
Frees

Went to watch this game and was left feeling like i am right now- peeed off!
The standard of umpiring in the VFL is so bad, if you can't laugh about it you would go completely off your tree :banghead
Good
Rioli was good in patches. Hits hard and chases which is a credit to his improved fitness. His body shape has changed big time.
Liked Stack's game. Stent time as a mid and played with aggression.
RCD improved as the game progressed and i have him as one of the best. Had some great clearances on the day.
Martyn was okay without being great. In and under but minimal spread from the contest.
CCJ was ordinary early but improved once moved to ruck. He is so much better around the ground than playing FF. Was beaten on the day by Daw.
Chol was ordinary early playing ruck. Showed glimpses as a forward but was intimidated by Daw when playing ruck. The lack of aggression could spell the end.
Naish battled hard and was serviceable. Was trying to drive it long with every possession but not much forward unfortunately.
Egg had a bad day at the office. His left calf was bandaged so not sure if this hampered him today. Felt sorry for our defenders as we had VFL players playing on AFL quality.
Ryan did nothing today in the wet. Played forward all day with no impact apart from one great goal.
Caddy was directing traffic all day as we are very young and inexperienced. He started well but faded out and became a little angry. Where does he fit in?
Cumberland was reported early in the second for a sling tackle. I gave him a pass on the day as he works hard and is aggressive with a neat left foot.
Miller started well and was beating Weiterman until he got injured.
Ralphsmith also started well but went off injured early. Not sure what injury was sustained.
Our back mainly had VFL players who are way off the standard. A year of development it seems.
-
is stack match ready for seniors?
Does anyone know?

VFL Tigers outpointed by Casey
Casey's headline big man department gave Richmond headaches at various stages, aiding their side in a 59-point win over the Tigers on Saturday afternoon.
By Brenton Mann,
Richmond Media
24 April 2021
Richmond hosted Casey at the Swinburne Centre in an Anzac Day Eve prelude to the AFL clash across Yarra Park at the MCG later on Saturday evening.
The Demons headliners included Ben Brown, Sam Weideman and Majak Daw, who all gave the Tigers headaches at various stages and aided their side in a 59-point win, the final score, 13.18 (96) to 5.7 (37).
On the corresponding night in 2019, Sydney Stack made the football world stand up and take notice after his iconic hip-and-shoulder on Jack Viney.
In 2021, it didn’t long for Stack to make an imprint on the Round 2 VFL game.
With Riley Collier-Dawkins surveying the 50-metre arc, Stack positioned himself behind the left shoulder of his opponent and Collier-Dawkins placed the ball beautifully to the advantage of Stack.
Stack then showcased his poise and class by nursing the ball through from an acute angle for the opening goal of the game.
On a tough day, Samson Ryan and Mabior Chol challenged each other for the best solo efforts of the day as Ryan kicked one of the goals of the year and Chol was at his springy, marking best.
Ryan, outnumbered three to one at half-forward in front of the Jack Dyer Stand watched the incoming ball sail over his head and skid inside 50.
The 206cm ruckman then held the Demons’ defenders at bay, kept his feet and a clear mind, soccered the ball multiple times then chipped the ball off the deck from 30 metres out, clearing the outstretched hands on the goal line.
His celebration almost matched the goal.
Chol went head-to-head with Daw for much of the day and rose over the Demon to drag down a superb grab deep in the forward pocket.
The sodden Sherrin meant little to Chol as he marked nearly every ball that came his way in very trying conditions.
The Tiger big man finished the game with 11 disposals, 2.1, seven marks and five tackles in a warming display.
Chol was aptly supported by emerging ruckman/forward, Callum Coleman-Jones who’s standing is growing by the week.
Coleman-Jones stiffened up the Tigers in the ruck in the second half, as he too adapted seamlessly to the conditions and tried his heart out to drag his side back into the game.
The burgeoning big man looks to be on the cusp of an AFL recall and did his case no harm today, finishing with 18 disposals, nine marks, 29 hit outs and 1.0.
Patrick Naish is another young Tiger who is in the eye of the AFL selectors and would have bumped his name up the list with 28 disposals, 13 rebound 50s and five marks.
Naish’s drive, run and overlap is ever important for Richmond and stands out on game day.
The Tigers dominated territory in the early going but failed to cash in on that dominance on the scoreboard.
The Demons then took their chances as the momentum swung, slamming on four consecutive goals and skating to a three-goal lead.
Callum Coleman-Jones then pegged one back for the hosts after some brilliant work up the field from Maurice Rioli, Brad Melville and Stack.
Rioli created the turnover at half-back; Stack then outwitted a Casey defender on the outer wing and Melville forced the ball inside 50 in the direction of Coleman-Jones.
It was Richmond personified.
Coleman-Jones finished off the good work, as he’s done for the majority of the year so far.
Casey answered back swiftly and took a three-goal lead into the first change.
The Demons were boosted by Brown and Daw in the second term as they both stamped their mark on the contest, both figuratively and literally.
The duo controlled the air and Casey kicked three goals on the trot, two to Brown, opening up a 39-point lead.
Richmond trailed by 33 points at the main break, with plenty of work to do.
Chol then kicked the opening goal of the second half and dragged the margin back under five goals.
After that, the heavens opened and Casey answered the challenge, kicking three goals in a row to end the third term 51 points clear.
The Tigers fought and scrapped in the last quarter, but the Demons’ class and organisation fended off the host's parry.
Richmond will travel to Avalon Airport Oval to face Werribee on Saturday, May 1 from 2.05pm, streamed live on 7plus.
TIGERS 2.4 3.5 4.5 5.7 (37)
DEMONS 5.4 8.8 11.14 13.18 (96)
Goals:
Richmond: Chol (2), Coleman-Jones (1), Stack, (1), Ryan (1)
Casey: Brown (4), Weideman (3), White (2), Munro (1), Foot (1), Machaya (1), Bradtke (1)

RCD improved as the game progressed and i have him as one of the best. Had some great clearances on the day.
I did not watch the game at all.
Did RCD demand AFL selection today? His stats aren’t that impressive at all.
Was he playing midfield?

Yeah some posters here tend to rates our blokes like Shifter Sheehan rates the kids on draft night....RCD was shyte.... :shh

It will likely be a long season apart from Morris and McDonough the rest of our vfl players are 22 and under. On top of that Caddy and Chol aside our Afl players were all 22 and under as well

I remember when he said Aaron Fiora would be the pick of the bunch that draft I’m pretty sure he said he might be a future Brownlow medallist. :rollin

Where is Dow at?
-
Injured - appendix, short term...
-
Looks like Cumberland just got reported for a sling tackle.
No mention of this in the VFL tribunal report. So he must be in the clear.

Where is Dow at?
Saying on club website probable for this weekend

VFL and development coach Xavier Clarke's summary of the AFL-listed players from last Saturday’s Round 2 VFL match against Casey:
Patrick Naish (28 disposals, five marks)
“Played across half-back. He has been playing a different role for us back there to provide a bit of run and carry… I thought he had a pretty good game; he is working on his defensive actions, and we are seeing some really good things come out of that part of his game.
“It was really good to see him playing consistent footy and giving us rebound across that part of the ground.”
Will Martyn (16 disposals, five tackles)
“Played really well inside the ball and hunted inside as best as he could. 14 contested possessions was really pleasing, and five tackles was the highlight for him, but also finding the ball.
“He continues to grow and develop into a really good player for us.”
Callum Coleman-Jones (18 disposals, 29 hit outs, nine marks, one goal)
“He has been playing some consistent footy. I am really excited about the way he is going at the moment. He played a majority of the first half up forward and then went into the ruck.
“I thought he had a really big impact for the game in terms of his work rate, ruck contests, and contested marking, which was pleasing to see.”
Riley Collier-Dawkins (13 disposals, four tackles)
“He just battles to win the inside ball, and his contest work is his biggest strength, but also his ability to be able to win the ball and get out from the stoppage…. We saw glimpses of that, but the pleasing thing again is around the contest. He had six tackles and was also taking the ball forward with five inside 50s.
“He is playing consistent footy at the moment, which is great to see.”
Josh Caddy (16 disposals)
“Came back and played his first game in the VFL this year after missing last week through illness. It was pleasing to see him out there playing footy. He played a bit of mid and a bit of forward, and had an impact in patches around the game where he certainly looked above the level.
“He laid six tackles, so he was really good around the contest.”
Derek Eggmolesse-Smith (13 disposals, three tackles)
“Playing half-back, he had to play a bit taller this week with Casey’s talls, and I thought he battled as best he could in the air and on the ground.
“Derek will continue to develop his role across half-back as a running half-back giving us some really good impact across there.”
Samson Ryan (12 disposals, one goal)
“He has been quite a consistent player for us as a forward and pinch-hitting in the ruck. He is still continuing to learn his craft as a forward as well, so it was pleasing to see him kick a pretty good goal which should be VFL Goal of the Year, I think.
“He is certainly someone that has developed a lot quicker than we thought, and we are enjoying what he is bringing at the moment.”
Mabior Chol (11 disposals, seven marks, five tackles, two goals)
“Played ruck first half and forward second half. He looked really dominant as a key forward and took some really nice, contested marks.
“Six contested marks from a game where it actually rained a fair bit is fairly significant. He kicked 2.1 and looked really, really dangerous as that forward. It was pleasing to see him have an impact in that part of the game.”
Sydney Stack (eight disposals, two marks, one goal)
“It’s an interesting one; he played really well without getting a lot of the ball. It sounds strange, but he just looks lively around the contest, puts pressure on, and he gives us a bit of speed around the ground ball.
“He kicked one goal early, which was from a nice, contested mark. He will continue to get back into his groove - it is his second game - and he played limited game time again, but he will continue to grow and get back to the footy we know he can play.”
Maurice Rioli Jr (eight disposals, five tackles)
“Had a lower impact on the game but still had high tackles (five), which was really significant.
“In terms of impact with ball in hand, it was a lot lower than previous weeks, but that is not to say we don’t really enjoy the way he has been playing. Same again, he is like the others continuing to learn his craft as a forward and playing as a forward in our system.
“He has had moments in the game where he looks really dangerous, and he will continue to grow as a developing player.”
Hugo Ralphsmith (four disposals, two behinds)
“His first two minutes of the game, he actually played as a half-forward and looked really, really dangerous. He looked very lively and kicked two behinds.
“He rolled his ankle behind the play about halfway through the first quarter, but he looked very, very lively as a half-forward, so we will continue to see what that looks like going forward.”
Noah Cumberland (five disposals, five tackles)
“First game back so there was not a lot of expectation in terms of his impact… it was just getting him out there and letting him enjoy playing footy.
“It was good to see five tackles - a lot of our smalls had a lot of tackles which was great - but it was a contested game. He will be better for the run, and we look forward to him continuing to develop and playing more game time throughout the year.”
Ben Miller (three disposals)
“Good to see him back out there after missing a few games through groin soreness. He battled hard in the air. He will continue to support our backs and be a really good sounding board for us down there.”
