Hmmmm Taranto has lost and won a few so possibly has oppos stealing votes.
Butterface has won every game but possibly has team mates stealing votes.
I bet TT gets bugger all votes because he's a tiger and Butterface gets a vanilla Brownlow like Wines, Priddis, Cripps and Fyfe 2nd.

Nick Daicos with his cheap stats is the flavour of the month. He will win it. Sure he is a good player but he is not as great as many of his cheap stats suggest. I rate his brother as a better player

Perfect result - Taranto pips Daicos by 1 vote in the final round but Merret has the most votes. :shh

Nope. Josh doesn't accumulate 80% of his stats cheaply and bruise free. Nick is having a free run ATM. Won't last.

18 senior coaches have him well clear as the standout player this year - I think they said it’s the most votes accumulated other than one of Fyfes Brownlow years. You’d think he’d also be clear in the Brownlow voted by the umps and the AFLPA MVP voted by the players and also be leading most of if not all of the media voted awards.
That Mediterranean sun is showing you see something 98% of the football world ain’t seeing. Would argue that means it’s not helping you but actually having the opposite effect.

If that's what you think good for you..I'm happy for you. Woewoden won a Brownlow once. Fantastic player lmao
-
Woewodin came from nowhere to win the Brownlow, wasn’t one of the faves for it, didn’t win any other individual award that season nor did he sniff getting close to the Brownlow ever again. It was a statistical anomaly.
Daicos is having a second season for the ages, hatred for Collingwood and their players won’t change that.
-
As much I hate to say it - there's a very high chance that Nick Daicos will emulate Dusty's 2017 Brownlow-Norm-Premiership and every other award season this year , in only his second season. So yeah reckon he might be a fairly handy player. :shh

Don't fear only a matter of time before the colliwobbles kick in
-
For a side so dominant, there is absolutely no-one in that team who will steal votes from N.Daicos. Much like our 2017 side.

From the HeraldSun:
Near best on ground games from Tim Taranto and Jordan Dawson at the weekend are keeping them in the race too, but a huge final six weeks would be needed for one of them to take Charlie home.

-----
Tim Taranto
Tracker: 18.2
Coaches votes: 63
Has had a fine first season in Richmond colours and could be within striking distance.
Taranto polled 15 votes back in 2021.
His Tigers have the Power in the last round – a team he gathered 33 disposals and four goals against in round 11.
Votes needed: A big final three rounds is needed, Taranto is likely behind by eight to nine votes.

SNUBBED TIGER’S TIME TO SHINE
Eyebrows were raised when Tim Taranto was left out of the All-Australian squad following a career best year.
SuperFooty hasn’t given Taranto the same treatment the All-Australian selectors did.
Watch out for the Tigers’ ball magnet in rounds 6-14, where Taranto is predicted to poll in nine-straight matches on his way to 26 votes for the season.
It won’t quite be the Matthew Priddis story from 2014 when the Eagle missed the All Australian team and won the Brownlow that year, but Taranto is close to a sure thing for a top-ten finish.

Best Chance: Tim Taranto
A stellar first campaign at Richmond should have the midfielder among the leading contenders at points throughout the year. He is predicted to poll in eight straight games midway through the campaign, but there will be a question mark over whether he did enough either side of that to potentially claim the top award.
One-Vote Wonder: Jack Riewoldt (Round 12 v GWS Giants)
The retiring Richmond premiership great could sign off on his terrific career by adding to his 62 Brownlow votes. He kicked five goals and had 15 disposals, eight marks and 10 score involvements against the Giants in his best performance of the season.

Hahaha those cheats should never vote on a game again. stuffin losers the lot of em.
Jason Horne-Francis got three votes against Geelong from 13 disposals, one tackle and no goals. Four of those touches were ineffective, two were clangers and he was not among the nine players who polled coaches’ votes.
Laughable isn't it. And Taylor Adams R3 lol. 20 touches, 3 contested, no goals, about 1-2 tackles.
It's a joke.
Brownlow votes should include coach and maybe captain input.

What did you think of the votes vs North?
Thomas getting the nod over dusty didn't seem right to me either.

It didn't impact on the result so I'm not fazed
I get more frustrated by the fact it is just a midfielders award now.
No key position players get a look in that's what irks me

He might've had a great year bur he was nowhere near the best or most damaging player in the comp. ....as someone pointed out last night ,the supposedly "not damaging enough" Taranto hit the scoreboard more this year than both of Neale's Brownlow years combined and certainly wasn't the best player in the comp this year either....joke of an award and has been for years....even when Dusty won it in 2017 he was nearly knocked off by Dangerfield who couldn't hit the side of a barn all year.... :shh

There were way too many dubious moments. Speaking of midfielders being gifted the Brownlow, I feel for Jeremy cameron with his 1 vote in round 2. Also not to mention the other Brisbane game where Neale got 3 votes even though he barely touched it and Charlie cameron kicked 7

Danger kicked 45 that year. Dusty was supreme though and less selfish

Talking about his field kicking - no-one was even close to Dusty that year and he should've won in a canter, not by 3 votes in the last round from a bloke who played one less h&a game.... :shh

Gets cheap possessions with little influence and his big numbers get him the votes.

Cmon mate. He dominated us in the elim final last year.
He didn’t deserve to win the Chaz but he’s objectively a gun.
