Maybe I'm bored, Maybe I'm being affected by the AFL's silly season but These burning questions need to be answered.

Yep I'm a fridge boy. Don't know why, since they sit on the shelves at room temperature at our local supermarket. Maybe its because the fridge actually has a place specifically for them. Is my life being dictated by Hoover??

Eggs ain't a good subject with me at the moment.
Nearly threw up the other day when I cracked one and out came a nearly there young chick :chuck
Enough to turn you off them forever.
I'm a fridge girl.

Gotta be the fridge :thumbsup
It's always puzzled me why they are on the shelves in the shops but we were taught that once yuo gottem home they had to go in the fridge.
One of lifes great mysteries ;D

fridge for me as well Just above (the beer shelves)
being a perveyour of fine hen eggs i got my own chooks you have to store them pointy end down as well ;D
-
Fridge for me too by habit. We have egg holders in the door of the fridge so might as use them lol.
-
I put them in the cupboard... we don't have the egg holder things in our fridge.
Another question: Onions, cupboard or fridge? Apparently if you put them in the fridge your eyes don't water as much when you cut them up.
I keep mine in the cupboard tho :P

TG, it works! We keep our onions in the fridge and when I cut them I never cry. They also last longer and don't tend to get that dark mouldy funk you see under the upper layers. A good trick for those who keep them at room temp, fill your mouth with water whilst you cut them. It really works! It may work with beer but watch for the froth build up :lol

No crying with jars of onion powder lol.
We keep our spuds in the cupboard but other vegies (lettuce, pumpkin, carrot, cauli) go in the crisper.

I have a sure way not to get watery eyes - get someone else to chop 'em up lol
Keep onions in the cupboard

I keep them in the cupboard. I only buy brown onions as they don't make you cry - either that or I've become immune to them.

cut your onions on a board near your running tap and you'll never have eye burn. :wallywink
