Meyer and Schulz should be playing for Coburg Reserves. And if they don't like it = gawn. Breach of contract.
-
ditto
-
I'd push them behind the ball for a few weeks first. If they can't get their hands on the footy (which has been the main issue for both) then there's no excuse. Might also help build up their fitness and mental sides too by being forced to work harder being accountable to a opposition forward.
-
No I have spoken to both at training on a number of occasions and they are not hungry enough. If Kingsley has to come to the club to place pressure on, you are gawn. :banghead Hughes was the same. He has improved a bit. Meyer and Hartigan don't want to be there.
-
I don't think Harts will be at Punt Rd next year but he's only just come back from a badly broken foot he did last year and the complications with it.
-
Meyer and Hartigan apparantly don't get on with TW.

where in the world did you get that from? let me guess your mums brothers eldest daughters best friend said it one day at kindy?
oh yeah, if your gonna start vicious little rumours again you might want to have a dictionary on hand. Rumours are much more believable when words are actually spelt korectly :lol

Would think thats nearly right.
Terry is hard on these two players and they dont like it.
-
I have it on good information that one K.Sheedy has rang Wallace the last two years trying to arrange a trade for Hartigan.
Jackstar can you confirm this?
If another coach has tried to trade for him two years in a row, he must have something going for him.
-
Does Meyer really think he's that good that he can make public his feelings towards the coach? He's not doing himself any favours.

Well they need to harden the **** up.
We dont need players like that, who cant take criticism when they are not performing to VFL, let alone AFL standards. :banghead

My mail is that TW has told Harts he'll be back in a week or two - let's see what happens.

Yes, on the money there Bull.
His dad( Dean ) played at Essendon so theres the connection.
Might add his Dad is the toughest coach I ever had (EDFL)
Destroyed my ""soft"" career , lol
-
his kicking is not up to afl standard atm
he may have some trade currency however
22 nice strong body and good speed

ABC commentators reckon he has good kicking skills, but I reckon you are on the money

Meyer from my view has just shown and continues to show nothing. Doubt anyone would pick him up.
We need someone down the track Richo's size up forward and Schulz fits the bill, has shown glimpses. Is this enough to stick it out and for how long? I would say get him in and give him at least next year.
Someone needs to pop him some angry pillsm, C'mon Sarge fire up and show a bit of mongrel.

has a bucket load of talent Sarge does, just doesn't want it enough. If he finds that hunger a la Richo he will be a good player. Chances of that happening are looking slim though :banghead

What a ludicrous comment.
What good are they playing for the Coburg reserves? :(
Hopefully both of them get chances back in the seniors soon enough either to increase their trade value or prove why they should be on the list.
At this stage I'd say sadly Meyer is gone. Likely 3rd or more likely 4th round pick and Jay will stay on the list asas contracted until end of '08.
-
Who are you a lawyer. Ludicrous comment. :sleep
If it wakes them up I'm all for it.
-
Well Peterson and Clingan both impressed according to EOTT and are pushing for a Coburg senior spot, they might have to get dropped for these two guys.
