Yep, shows time and time again he has no awareness. I hope this is the last we see of him.
Bowden is fast becoming a liability. His disposal has been atrocious for 2 weeks running now.

he aint the only one, add 14 players from our list to that category

I said this about two or three seasons ago. He was getting the ball 25 times a game playing HBF and doing nothing with it.
No awareness, no end product.
The thing is he had trade value then and has none now.
We have two problems now. Its not much of a selling market these days with everyone wanting to hold onto first and second round picks. Secondly, we identified limitations in some of our players far too late - Cogs, Tucky, Ray Hall was wanted by Sydney who later gave up a low second rounder for Jolly FFS.
I'd be making things nice and simple by sending out a memorandum to all of the other clubs saying that if you come to us with a first or second round pick we will consider it for ANY player. It doesn't mean we will trade Deledio, but a few of our boys might get a wake up call and we might even get a good deal from a club looking to top up.
You can go on about the Hawks and earlier the Saints tanking, going backwards to go forwards etc but at least they have made some courageous moves in terms of letting senior players in exchange for picks.

How exactly is it Chris Hyde's fault that he was hot every time someone passed the ball to him.
That was the difference between the sides yesterday. Port were awake to the fact that we were going to play on with a handball every time. Hyde was doing his job in running past and presenting but it's not his fault that he was manned up, it's up to the person with the ball to not pass it.

Everyone is hot all the time, they don't work hard enough to get into space, lose opponents and defend opponents.

Hydey lacks awareness and doesn't use the first option thereby running himself into trouble and either getting caught or rushing a disposal. He tries to beat an opponent and think about disposing of it. Rainesy has got into this habit too. I was watching the game with WP yesterday and we watched Hydey carefully. He 95% of the time plays on all the time no matter the situation and even when he shouldn't do it. Then the one time he shouldn't have stopped he stops. He lacks footy smarts big time.
He's not Robinson Crusoe in that department mind you. Jacko is another. That mark 50m out was a lesson in not what to do. He had to go quickly to a teammate while the forward line was open otherwise he then has to take the responsibility of taking the shot at goal. Instead he kicks sideways where a Port player picks it off.
Joel looked totally disinterested yesterday. A very selfish game considering it was Richo's 250th. He was running around like a volvo driver oblivious to what was going on around him.
As far as delistings - Gas (already gone), Hall, Knobel, Kingsley, Hartigan, Moore will have a cross already against their names. A fair few talls in that lot of six. Given the weak draft the delistings won't probably be as extensive as some hope.

chris hyde is a waste of time ... only in 2005 he was doing something ... but now it is time to go !!!

add sugar tuck richo and joel to that list

Krak and Moore showed nothing different to what we've seen before. Good second-level footy players. Strong performers in the VFL but can't reproduce it at AFL level.

Agree time to cut them off
Poyas is a good VFL player he never made it after a few games
Some players are good for 1 or 2 games a season but will show consistant good showings at VFL level
Richmond need to seriously cut away from Coburg Tigers & go it alone with there own Reserves side like Geelong to do any better with blooding AFL level players IMO even though l really have become attached to the Coburg side :'(

Virtually a certainty now after being dropped.
Krak, Moore, Harts, Howat as well as Gas, Razor, Hall and Kingsley look like being delisted. That's 8 there gone before we consider others on the list as trade options..

tivendale must be good on his knees

I am sure most AFL clubs would love to do it Monk but it would cost then an extra $350-$500k a year. There was great article in the VFL record a few weeks ago explaining how much it costs Geelong every year to field a stand alone team in the VFL it was close to $450k - I doubt there are anmny teams in the AFL that can afford that

Yeah I tend to agree MT - I reckon Moore's effort last week on O'Keefe (who I reckon is an absolute gun BTW) was lamentable and you wonder if after 4(?) years it's all over red rover :-\
