hopefully we can get a 1st round upgrade
-
maybe jay is still in our long term plans, maybe they just want him in the coburg team to help them v the cats
unless u r in the inner sanctum, all we can do is speculate and guess
-
Having an extra tall up would help Coburg at either end of the ground especially as the Geelong VFL side is fairly tall.
Hydey could be playing for his future too on Saturday.

I don't often disagree with you MT but!!!
-
I think that is the strongest team we could put in under the circumstances
Go Tiges :thumbsup
-
Disappointed for Jay, thought he had done enough to retain his place. Hard to do much when you get one game and then dropped.

I was thinking the same thing X

Fair enough Mopsy.
My view is 7 year fringe players are always at risk of getting the chop. Petts, Newy and Cogs (when fit) who were drafted to the club at the same time as Hyde (2000 draft) have cemented their spot in the side. Hyde and Krak haven't and both will be under the gun.
-
Doubt Hyde will be in the starting lineup
-
Its funny that people say Sarge isnt playing coz Coburg want him as an extra tall.
Then people say Wallace is ultra competitive (which i agree with) so if thats the case then Terry wouldnt give a rats ass who Coburg want for their team while we are still playing.
Shultz will certainly be offered for trade, whether or not he is at Punt Road next season will depend on what we want for him and what people are prepared to give.

raines on riewoldt again, puhleeze ::)
-
There could be a late change tomorrow. Connors trained today in replace of Schulz in the squad of 25.
-
go connors :gotigers

Maybe we are covering our bases just in case a Kingy or Tucky pull out late. Sarge was listed as an emergency so Connors training doesn't alter the original 22 if all play.
-
so jay gets droped because he missed a couple of goals.
why isnt terry being consistant and treating all fwds equal
makes you wonder

Sarge should've remained at Coburg last week to back up his 9 goals against bottom side Tassie with a strong performance against a top VFL side like Sandy before being promoted. Build up the confidence and show everyone that he is willing to work hard enough consistently.

Time might prove me wrong but in my opinion Richmond will not be successful in developing another full forward while Richo has a prescence in the forward line. :(

Mopsy, you are so right there. We all know Richo gives 100% and can be a game winner but how the hell are Sarge, Rewault, Hughes or Patterson suposed to develop in to our key fowards with the ball being shot at Richo 70%+ of the time. This has been bugging me for few years now but the TW hasnt changed it. I suppose it is difficult to change as the big fellow is , well he is Richo.

Agreed Mopsy. It's going to be a tough call, but some time soon we're going to have to put the big lug out to stud for the sake of the future, as we've done with Kellaway and Gaspar. It's why I want to keep Schulz, I think he'll flourish once Richo is gone, and if we get rid of Schulz, our succession plan for Richo suddenly looks a bit light on.
