Our client, the Richmond Football Club, has recently created a new position – General Manager: Training and Development, directed to the enhancement and fast tracking of the off field development of its all important stakeholders – its staff and players.
Reporting to the CEO, the standout candidate will be expected to:
• Manage and identify specific training and development needs
• Develop and facilitate training programs including leadership, education, life skills, media, general management and career guidance
• Deal comfortably with needs of varied stakeholders: from CEO, Executive, staff, Football department and players
• Execute the programs and act as a valuable resource to the Club
• Manage a pool of staff and consultants including HR & psychology services
As the best candidate for the role you will have:
• Tertiary qualifications encompassing training, counselling, career coaching and life skills
• A strong background in organisational planning and development
• Experience in developing individuals, staff and teams to be their best
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
We are keen to attract an individual with the credentials, attitude and performance results to drive this exciting newly created role.
