If he plays like he has today then the Dees won't get close to us.
Hence tactical reasons he gets dropped.
Always have had time for Jack. Will be a good player. :thumbsup

yep all he needs is help in the forward line and he will shine

Can we wait for the end of the current game before talking about chnges for next week? :-\

Out: Silvester, King
In: Rance, Tuck
-
Gourdis and Connors are both injured after yesterday.
-
Silvester and Hislop went off injured towards the end but not sure how they pulled up. Silvester was running after the siren he was so happy. If the Cat misses then Rance comes in.
So ignoring injury....
Out: Patto
In: Gus

Out -Hislop (Inj )
In. Richo :gobdrop

I would drop Silvester regardless of injuries.
-
Silvester won't be able to play unless Pettifer goes on the LTIL with Richo coming off it for next week.

That's true FF. You would think Petts going onto the LTIL is a given. SEN saying Silvester will be right for next week.
Nahas - allowed promoted rookie from round 11
Silvester - Richo before and now Petts on LTIL
Retirements (Sugar) can't be used to promote rookies IIRC.

Was impressed with Rewoldts game today. Lets hope he can do it again next week

Some might say he has been doing it for three weeks now with goals of 3,3 and 6.

He'd be bloody sore that's for sure. Winderlich, who got on well with Hislop at the Dons, had a few good shots at him from what I saw. :rollin Was surprised other Dons didn't go after him more though as he would have caused some frustration during his stint at Essendon.

Richmond Tigers Chris Newman and Jarrod Silvester in the clear
Jon Ralph | July 28, 2009
RICHMOND has cleared captain Chris Newman and full back Jarrod Silvester of serious injury, but is yet to decide where Matthew Richardson will play this weekend.
The Tigers have a chance to gain some late-season momentum with MCG clashes against Melbourne and Sydney in the next fortnight.
Coach Jade Rawlings will assess Richardson's training form today and later in the week before considering whether he plays in the VFL for Coburg or for Richmond.
Richardson, recovering from a ruptured hamstring tendon, is considered likely to play only the second VFL game of his career, against Box Hill on Saturday.
The club faces several selection quandaries, with leading defender Kelvin Moore available after a fortnight out with a calf injury.
Alex Rance was best afield for Coburg on Saturday, so the Tigers suddenly have a wealth of tall defensive options.
Ruckman Troy Simmonds is also available after recovering from groin issues, but should return in the VFL.
Experienced midfielders Mark Coughlan and Shane Tuck pushed their claims at VFL level on the weekend, but may find it hard to break back into the side.
Football manager Ross Monaghan said the Tigers were in no hurry to make a decision on Richardson.
"We haven't decided anything yet," Monaghan said.
"This is his second full week of training and we fully expect him to play, but we have only just started looking at Melbourne, so it's too early to say."
Newman was hobbling late in the win against Essendon, but Monaghan said he had pulled up extremely well yesterday.
Silvester, who had to be carried off by a pair of Richmond trainers, has been diagnosed with a badly turned ankle but could have returned late in the game.
Key-position tall Graham Polak continues to impress at Coburg, but seems unlikely to win a senior recall this year.
"We are happy with the way he is going, but we will just keep monitoring things," Monaghan said.

Why do people think Hislop will go out...?

We must not win this game. Melbourne must not get the priority picks 1&2. I dont care if we dont get another pick at 18 or thereabouts but WC and Melbourne should be conspired against to ensure they win ?? Interesting to see if they bring anyone back in this week ??
In: Putt, Thomson, JON
Out: Newman, Silvester (Inj), Brown.

I'm okay with Melbourne getting a Priority pick for 2 reasons.
1. They really are that bad.
2. They deserve one after Carlscum took theirs 2 years ago when Melbourne were clearly in a worse position as a team.
West Coast on the other hand. . . . . :whistle :scream

Why do people think Hislop will go out...?
Simple-'because he hasn't got it!'

In the mix - AFL site
Richmond
Last weekend saw Shane Tuck, Mark Coughlan and Alex Rance all looking good for Coburg on a shocking day for footy, played in a howling gale, but it could be hard for any of them to force their way back into a winning side. The biggest news is that Matthew Richardson may make his return, although he is most likely to pull on the boots for Coburg this week.
Melbourne
Injuries to Liam Jurrah (ankle) and Kyle Cheney (calf) in Canberra last Sunday could lead to changes. Colin Sylvia should slot straight back into the side after serving a three-match suspension. Jack Grimes (back), Brock McLean (knee) and James Frawley (back) didn't play last round and will face fitness tests. Just three senior-listed players featured in the Casey ones last weekend – Russell Robertson, Jake Spencer and Simon Buckley. Rohan Bail, an emergency against the Swans, could also push up to make his AFL debut.
