Fire away ... :help
-
Tuck in - That's all ! one more :banghead
-
Griff out (inj)Tuck in
Browne out (no good) Gus In
Hislop out (whats the point in bringing a guy off the rookie list at his age to be a sub?) Conca In
-
I would rather have McGuane in than Thursty after he was caught punching the air today on three occassions.
McGuane at least might be tradeable Thursty is gawn noone wanted him last year when he requested a trade and noone will want him this year either.
In Tuck McGuane
Out Hislop Thursfield
Browne does not cut it either but he gives more contest than Angus.
Farmer again inconspicuous bar two goals like last week.
We could have five or so changes again but what's the point after an effort like today.

PLAY THE KIDS!!!!
-
OUT: Griffiths (inj), Farmer, Hislop, Grigg
IN: Tuck, Morton, McGuane, Conca
Assuming Griffiths' injury will keep him out. If he comes up fit, he takes preference over McGuane. As for Farmer and Hislop, I genuinely feel sorry for them because neither of them should be in our 22, but for some reason they keep getting picked, keep performing badly, and keep copping the criticism for performing badly when they shouldn't have even been put there in the first place. Grigg needs to be dropped. His form has been horrendous the past couple of weeks. Needs to actually put some effort into the contest rather than doing the least amount of work possible.
Yes, McGuane is frustrating at times. Yes, in an ideal world he'd never go near the ball. BUT, we're light on for talls (Griffiths, Astbury, Moore and Grimes all injured), and at least McGuane, with all his faults, can defend somewhat, even if he can't kick. It's either him or Gourdis, who was poor against Melbourne. Or worse, Miller. Tuck's selection is long overdue.

Injuries have killed us this year! :banghead

Out Hardwick
In Malthouse

yes play the kids.
Tuck. Waste of time not in future.
Herslop. As I've said before she shouldn't be allowed to wear the jumper again.
Browne. He's hopeless, unfit and an uncoordinated dinosaur but he's still better that Graham. Play him for the rest of the year and hopefully the saints or port will be dumb enough to trade for him.
Post. Keep him in see if he's up to it.
Farmer. Same as Post.
Miller. Give him And his Mrs a job in marketing. He's useless as a player.
The bombers are up and look like they've learnt how to tackle.... We'll get thrashed again.

Out Hardwick
In Malthouse
:lol
this is what we need
-
Yes a change in coach will do the trick?
We wanted a rebuild 18 months ago we are currently getting one and losses like this emphasise that we need to fully carry through with one. This loss is not Hardwicks fault from a list perspective. Things like playing Grigg and Edwards on Judd are but you can't get rid of 30 players in one hit.
Until we turnover virtually 30 odd players from the list we had in rd 22 2009 we will be paying for the sins of previous coaching regimes namely The Solarium man who after our 157 point loss to Geelong should have gone the full rebuild himself then and made the hard decisions then.
Moving on Hardwick would be a false move and one prone to failure. Let Dimma get rid of another 8-10 players and lets carry through this move fully and hopefully reap the benefits.
For me Jackson today whilst not our worst was still terrible. I have had enough of his unskilled disposal slow decision making and undisciplined acts. To me he is a listclogger. Trade.

Forfeit.

On yesterdays effort, Coburg couldn't do any worse.

Griffiths has brusied ribs so he might be ok to play

In Tuck, O'Reilly, Conca, Morton, Webberley

Play Post in the ruck at least he will provide a contest

eff anyone that poos on Tucky. The bloke has been a good player for us and is still in our best 22. "Oh but he wont be around for our next premiership!!!" suck a effing big one. Half the team that played yesterday arent fit to lace his boots and they wont be around for our next FINALS game let alone a flag

Totally agree, post did a few good things yesterday, needs to stay in the side for the rest of the year.
-
How funny that most of the "outs" identified for next week are the ones that most whined about wanting as "ins" over the past few weeks.
Scapegoats to the left, crucifixions to the right. ::)

thats how we roll in OER ;D

:lol
most of the regular scapegoats were not playing yesterday, except perhaps nahas who was our best and rance who at least never threw in the towel.
Outs: Grigg, Thursfield, Griffiths (inj), Hislop, Post, Helbig
Ins: McGuane, Conca, Tuck, Nason, Morton, Miller
preety fair call there WP, could have done with the run that nason can give. I think we could see perhaps why post is out of favour. at times he just looked totally lost.

so true. week in and week out we are getting smashed in the clearances. yesterday the flood gates really opened based on this aspect. there is no one else that can come in and help in this area. NO ONE!

Lost is a good word - poor reader of the play IMHO
I've inlcuded Tuck & Nason because they have been in Coburgs best for the last few weeks. If we are only giving games to those who deserve and have earnt it as per Saturday's enlightening article then those 2 play. Simple as that
-
Don't really care to be honest, we don't have the depth to bring in a quality player/s, doesn't matter, bring in who you want we don't have a chance the way we played Sat.

Herald-Sun's footy barometer - Round 16
RICHMOND
ON THE BLOCK: Andrew Browne, Tom Hislop, Jaydn Post, Will Thursfield. Ben Griffiths is likely to miss with bruised ribs.
ON THE CUSP: Shane Tuck simply must play, even if he's not a part of Hardwick's long-term plan. Angus Graham for Browne. Reece Conca needed a rest and should return. Brad Miller for Griffiths or Post.
MICHAEL WARNER’S FORECAST: The Tigers were pathetic against Carlton but get a chance to redeem themselves against Essendon at the MCG on Saturday night. They play the Gold Coast the following week. First quarters have troubled Richmond all season, but surely not this week ...

RICHMOND - In the Mix
After copping a 103-point thrashing from Carlton in round 15, the Tigers could make a number of changes for Saturday night's clash with Essendon. While their VFL team had the bye last weekend, Shane Tuck is one player who had been pushing hard for a return to the AFL side. He is a good chance to replace Ben Griffiths, who was subbed off early against the Blues after suffering a rib injury. Matt White (knee) and Daniel Connors (quad) are expected to return through the VFL in the next two weeks.

I agree with some on Tuck. If the bloke is on our list he should play if his form is good. If we give him a contract for the year, play him ffs. Otherwise somebodies head should roll for doing so.
OUTS - Farmer, just not good enough and should be gone at seasons end
- Hislop, close to the worst AFL player i have ever seen- up there with Rombotus
- Thursfield, needed a few games at Coburg before coming in last week
- Post, as much as everyone wants this kid to become something, he just is not good enough at the moment. Play him at Coburg for the rest of the year, give him a massive preseason and see how he goes next year. He just doesn't deserve a game at the moment.
- Browne, needs a rest, played terribly against the blues but has been OK in some games.
- Jackson, the RFC need to make an example of a senior player after last weeks performance and Jacko has been pretty ordinary most of the year IMO. Only gets a game because we are so shyt.
INS - Tuck, we simply need his hardness and his clearance work.
- Gourdis, IMO just needs to play
- McGuane, rate him above Thurstfield and Post, simple.
- Conca, adds some well needed run
-Gus, hopefully has learnt that he must fight for his position in the side
- Morton, simply need help in the forward line.
6 changes after the effort of last week sounds about right to me.
