How could anyone in their right mind stab a horse or any animal?

The little dog that was stabbed a month or so ago was in the same area

Problem is these days they have a 'condition' for everything - Give them a chance "poor things" Rehabilitate, load em up! Doesn't work their Fkd in the head and don't belong in society! FULL STOP .... One day maybe 100 -200 years down the track we will realise this and BANG the END ... No time for brain diseased people ...... Or maybe they will find a cure by then? The brain is pretty complex, they may even be able to save the homos / Lesos - even tho lesos are all right :thumbsup

It's happening far too often now which is scarey. As HB said the next step is doing this to a human. People who do this have no respect fo life. Of course our judiciary will just give them a fine = slap on the wrist ::).

yeah over the year's i've heard that. There's people obviously have something mentally wrong with them to harm an innocent animal for no reason they shouldnt just get a slap on the wrist and a medical exam. They also need time locked away from society.

i have to say this stuff about the bashings of kangaroos and stabbing of dog and horse etc needs to be brought to an end. i think its a real bad trend in our society. to much rabble and there kids have been allowed into the country.

It's terrible, I hate it. But to start blaming migrants is ridiculous. it seems that everytime some social illness is brought up the same old tired cliches about our country being overrun by darkies gets brought up.

Stephen J. Peak uses the term "Swill". Its a legitimate term used for this group of people who go around killing innocent animals like Kangaroos and Horses. Its time to get rid of the swill.

They have to increase police numbers. Years ago, they were everywhere until Kennett decided to rip into them and start dropping their numbers. It should be a main focus of Labor to have police presence everywhere, but it isn't, and it'll be to their detriment, because people are jack of crime, people trashing themselves and others. There used to be a thing where the elderly were mostly spared, but not these days. That poor 99?? year old woman that was raped in Ormond the other day, barely raised an eyebrow.
I hate 'em sometimes, but more cops!

What kind of society is this where people go around doing these cruel acts. Hopefully these cases that have been happening of late preasures governments in every state to change and put in harsher laws against people found guilty of these cowardly attacks on animals.

You gotta ask though is the way our current prison system works is it enough of a deterrence.
I know obviously they would have some kind of under lining mental problem to do these acts but still maybe a reform on how the prison system works needs to be looked at.

Kids who go to schools in the middle of hot summers wearing long sleeved tops. Why? Many of them because that's the way they want to dress for the day, for others, sometimes a little more sinister :(
I think abuse of kids is becoming part of the norm these days rather than the extraordinary like some of these horrible cases.

Abuse of children is as old as the hills, unfortunately. In the past it was actually condoned, then hidden/not spoken about and now it's still commonplace, but condemned. Nothing new I am afraid.

The government are more concerned about placing a speed camera at the bottom of a hill collecting a few hundred bucks each offence rather than put away the Peter Dupas's of society for life(40 years plus).
This country is a joke. yeah yeah best country in the world bla bla but we allow these thugs to control our state. Why don't police go into city and instead of slapping kids on the wrist how about we slam them with $1000 for causing city unrest. Second offence $5000
My boss's son was murdered at the age of 18 by a kid who performed a karate kid move on him in Glen Waverley. He got 3 years out in 1.
6 years on in 2009 he did it again and this time got a year.
Our system is filled with corruption and greed. The magistrates get paid each time one of these thugs fronts to court so they would rather them re offend so they get paid more than actually give hard time so they never see the person again.
Countries like Singapore & Japan have one of the lowest crime rates in the world because people adapt to the strict laws they have over there. Unlike here the reason we have so many losers around is because they know they can get away with it for a small price.
I bet if a cop's son or daughter suffered instead of a normal citizen you would see a different result come sentencing time.

Dan, that's awful about your boss' son. If the murderer got out in one year, what was he charged with and what were the circumstances. A three year sentence for murder seems ridiculous.

whats occurred is a tragedy but there are rules that need to be followed, this illegal immigration is skewing the population mix. We need to be bringing more people from Europe, the UK, USA and Canada. Just my opinion.
