Here's one for the Floyd fans...A female vocalist called Bianca Antoinette performing in a tribute band rendition of "The great gig in the sky"
IMO the best version of this song and she sings all three parts. This girl has the most amazing pipes!! Turn you speakers up! I guarantee she will give you goosebumps.

Yeah JF, It would have to be one of the worst things I have ever seen! Curiosity killed the cat in this instance!

WARNING TO ALL.....I would strongly suggest that nobody be as stupid as I was and go looking for this clip as it will change you forever or at the least
kill your desire for consuming anything for quite a while. That is why there is no link here. So just enjoy the expressions on peoples faces and leave it at that.
Trust me you will be far better for it.  :thumbsup

Howdy All and a Happy New Year :thumbsup

We've had to delete and modify a couple of posts on this thread because they link back to adult (read over 18) and offensive content.

I think tiga referred to it best with "curiosity killed the cat". Although there was no direct link to to a certain clip we did have a couple of people who raised concerns.

Please remember we do have youngster (I think the legal term is Minors) who access this site (mainly because their folks post here) and certain links are inappropriate for OER.

We understand that no-one was meaning any harm or trying to offend (thanks to JohnF for his Warnings :thumbsup) but we are just trying to keep a balance here folks

So if we could keep this thread to the "youtube" lame, funny and mild it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
WP & MT

A MAN who used YouTube to share images of himself doing stunts on a forklift has lost his job and licence.

The video, which has now been removed, showed Matthew Garry Ward doing burnouts, crashing into concrete pipes and overloading the forklift so he could do wheelies.

Ward, 20, of Seymour, north of Melbourne, was ordered by the Seymour Magistrates Court to complete 50 hours of unpaid community work and a five-day occupational health and safety course.

Magistrate Caitlin English also ordered Ward to pay WorkSafe's court costs of $1,200.

AFL club 'furious' over chicken sex video

The North Melbourne Football Club is “furious” after one of its younger players posted a video on the internet depicting a toy rubber chicken performing sex acts on the carcass of a real chicken.

The four-minute video, “The Adventures of Little Boris”, features the rubber chicken known as Little Boris that is handed out by an assistant coach each week to a person at the club deemed to have made the biggest mistake of the week.

Not sure is anyone is into geeky, sciency or techy stuff yet. But posting this anyway. I thought it was pretty bloody cool. These blokes developed the nano quadrotors a while back and now they're having them doing technical aerobatics. If we (human race) do integrate with technology by the time of technological parity, I'd be lining up to get some of these gizmos fitted.

When I was young I started in the school band then when I left school I teamed up with a few mated and did the usual low paying gigs for friends parties, weddings etc..
Now I just play alone with the occasional Jam with some other Muso's from work. My current rig is a Roland TD-6 which is fun to play and I have a good selection of drumless tracks on my iPod that I use to practice. Back in 2007, I did a shout out to all members to see if anyone wanted to do a virtual jam for a bit of fun http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum/index.php?topic=4278.0 where we picked a song and each recorded our parts in an mp3 and then I would mix them all together and post the final result.
Sadly the response was lukewarm but I am still up for it if anyone else is interested in having a go.

I get around Oz a bit with my band, but playing thrash/death metal the dividends aren't exactly anything to brag about lol. We got a 7" out soon from a Euro label but I'm so close to throwing in the towel. I haven't listened to a metal record in at least 12 months, my patched up denim jacket is all dusty and I've lost the vibe. The blokes are tops but. I still love my rig though and if I do take another crack at another band I wouldn't mind getting into some post-grunge/hard rock. Something that could at least be on JJJ before midnight :p

Very true al. They each have different personalities as well although budgies (which I've had/have as pets have had one common trait - an appetite for destruction  ;D. They love getting their choppers into anything they can chomp into (wood especially), pull apart or throw off their cage.

But really, as an animal lover and someone with a streak of misanthropy, I love seeing this kind of stuff whether it be real or not. Animals are very intelligent and that's why they still survive. Many confuse knowledge with intelligence. Intelligence is the ability to learn and aquire knowledge. Majority of humans are far from intelligent as you kind of pointed out. We're taught if we're out of food we can go buy some at the shops. Just pop into any Safeway or service station after 8pm to see the kind of degerates personalities on their hunter/gatherer duties. Animals learn their food is seasonal, predators learn how to hunt. Birds that don't fly north/south for the winter or elephants that don't migrate with the herd for the rains find they won't make it to the next season. As children we're all taught that animals such as lions and tigers for example are dangerous. The bloke in that video obviously wasn't very intelligent and it was just natural selection doing its part. It's man's 'intelligence' that is its biggest downfall. Our most intelligent moment in time was the moment we learned and mastered agriculture (and the most ironic thing is that it was the cause of much unintelligence lol (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdwYjFnFoJU)). We learned when to plant crops, when to harvest, and when to hunt. Though immediately from that moment it helped mankind cheat Darwinism by allowing bludgers to live and pass on their lazy genes. It also unintelligent groups to convince themselves that the cause for all this was some imaginary friends in the sky.

Very well put dwaino.  :clapping

I agree with you 100%. Here is a classic example of lack of intelligence. I watched RBT last night and this guy had no license and had actually never had one because he had been fined continually since being a learner and amassed over $100,000 in fines. He was on methadone and had hooch in the car. He avoided the RBT by driving off the road and into the bushes and when the police caught up with him and asked him why he was avoiding the RBT he said "I wasn't avoiding you, I was driving in here!".  :lol Now that was hillarious but the real frustrating part is, He had a shopping bag full of prescription drugs which were all his because he had a heart attack. Now for the hard workers of this world, those drugs he had would have cost us over $300 a pop but for him, the out of work deadbeat, drug addict who continually puts lives at risk by driving under the influence, they cost him a grand total of $30.00!!! :banghead :banghead :banghead
Another classic example of today's society cheating natural selection by allowing these deadbeats to continue living. Do gooder's will say oh but he is down and out and needs all the help he can get. Yeah sure until he drives along the road one day and kills innocent people.

The magistrate fined him $1500 and gave him some community service hours. So all they did was add to his already massive fine total which he will never pay.
Now here's the kicker.....He was caught driving again the following day and all the magistrate did was fine him another $800.00  :banghead :banghead

This world is seriously stuffed up!
