:rollin @ 2:02 I bet that will be the exact same response when one D.Connors is told he is no longer a required player at Punt Road  ;D

Not sure is anyone is into geeky, sciency or techy stuff yet. But posting this anyway. I thought it was pretty bloody cool. These blokes developed the nano quadrotors a while back and now they're having them doing technical aerobatics. If we (human race) do integrate with technology by the time of technological parity, I'd be lining up to get some of these gizmos fitted.

Michael chricthon wrote a book these things years ago
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Yahweh? or the great Clawski?

Do you play for yourself or with a band or anything?

When I was young I started in the school band then when I left school I teamed up with a few mated and did the usual low paying gigs for friends parties, weddings etc..
Now I just play alone with the occasional Jam with some other Muso's from work. My current rig is a Roland TD-6 which is fun to play and I have a good selection of drumless tracks on my iPod that I use to practice. Back in 2007, I did a shout out to all members to see if anyone wanted to do a virtual jam for a bit of fun http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum/index.php?topic=4278.0 where we picked a song and each recorded our parts in an mp3 and then I would mix them all together and post the final result.
Sadly the response was lukewarm but I am still up for it if anyone else is interested in having a go.

Bump!

Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

I get around Oz a bit with my band, but playing thrash/death metal the dividends aren't exactly anything to brag about lol. We got a 7" out soon from a Euro label but I'm so close to throwing in the towel. I haven't listened to a metal record in at least 12 months, my patched up denim jacket is all dusty and I've lost the vibe. The blokes are tops but. I still love my rig though and if I do take another crack at another band I wouldn't mind getting into some post-grunge/hard rock. Something that could at least be on JJJ before midnight :p
