nb. Summary from Inside Football:

A - B

LUKE ADAMS
ruckman
Swan Districts, WA
Born: 18yo
Ht: 198cm
Wt: 93kg
"Luke played four games of senior footy at the end of the season but dislocated his ankle in the first final against Claremont. Didn't have much luck on the injury front all year actually because he broke his left hand in pre-season and broke his right hand in the middle of the year. A genuine ruckman." - Swan Districts football manager Matt Peach.

NATHAN AHMAT-WATKINS
forward/ midfielder
West Adelaide/NT
Born: 18/2/92
Ht: 186cm
Wt: 78kg
"Nathan's an aboriginal lad who is originally from Alice Springs. He's more of a strong-bodied mid-sized midfielder with really clean hands and he's very good in traffic. Uses the ball well, good with clearances and while he doesn't have any standout areas of his game, he's just solid across the board." - West Adelaide football manager Scott Turner NT representative 2010.

WARRICK ANOREOLI
midfielder
South Fremantle.WA
Born:  28/2/92
Ht: 182cm
Wt: 75kg
"Warrick is from our country zone in Carnarvon and captained our Colts side. Plays mainly off a wing where he likes to take the game on and he's got good speed. Played a few reserves games later in the year and he's a good kid who loves his footy. Did it the hard way when he first came down and he's worked extremely hard to get where he is at the moment." - South Fremantle player development officer Daniel Vidovich WA representative 2010.

JAKE BATCHELOR
defender/midfield
Dandenong Stingrays, Vic
Born: 13/2/92
Ht: 187cm
Wt: 82kg
"Jake won our best and fairest playing predominantly as a rebounding half back. A good size, he has great hands and is a super reader of the game. A terrific one-on-one player who set up a lot of our rebounds and was our No. 1 rebounding player and at marking the ball from opposition kicks. He's one of those classic, rebounding half backs that AFL clubs are really excited about. A really balanced player coming off a tremendously consistent year and he deserves a crack at AFL level. I think he'll get it." - Dandenong Stingrays coach Graeme Yeats

NATHAN BATLEY
defender/midfielder
Woodville-West Torrens, SA
Born: 16/9/92
Ht: 185cm
Wt: 74kg
"Nathan played the majority of the season in our reserves side as well as school footy with St Michael's. A wingman/half back type who is extremely quick and has run at the Stawell Gift in the 200 and 400 metres. Mainly a run-and-carry type player who is a long penetrating kick. Had a good national championships, especially the last game against Vic Country." - Eagles talent manager Shane Grimm SA representative 2010.

JONATHAN BEECH
half-forward
West Adelaide, SA
Born: 20yo Ht:
187cm
Wt: 83kg
"Jonno was our only senior player to go to state screening. He's been playing league footy across three seasons now and he's a hard-running, tall half forward who can gut run and is good overhead." -West Adelaide football manager Scott Turner

TOM BELL
defence
Morningside, Qld
Born: 19yo
Ht: 186cm
Wt: 82kg
"Tom's got a real strong body - a bit like a swimmer's body - and he's got a real competitive nature ... massive grunt. He's one of those kids that just competes really strongly. Plays key defence but I actually think he could play midfield a bit. I just love his competitive nature. He leads well and brings others along with him just by his presence." - Queensland talent manager Mark Browning

HARLEY BENNELL
midfielder
Peel Thunder, WA
Born:  2/10/92
Ht: 184cm
Wt: 70kg
"Harley's an indigenous boy who has the great natural talents and flair that the indigenous kids tend to have. Fantastic with the footy, great awareness of what's going on around him, got a good set of hands and he can just cover the ground. He can play as a running half-back or a wingman as well as on the ball and his ability to run and carry and link up, for an 18-year-old kid, is outstanding. Played the first two or three games in our seniors and was among the best before he went off to play for the state side. Got clean hands, he's got an extra sense of what's around, he finds space well, he gets in and out of traffic really well and he's just a real, quality player. From our understanding he will go top three to the Gold Coast. - Peel Thunder coach Trevor Williams Larke Medal winner 2010. All Australian 2010.

SHAUN BEWICK
West Perth,WA
Born: 10/10/89
Ht: 184cm
Wt: 77kg
"Shaun is the twin brother of Rohan (drafted by Brisbane this year) and he's a rebounding half back. He got a crack at senior level about four or five games into the season while he had some patchy games early, he found his feet and ended up playing about 14 games on the trot. Good rebounding across half back, and has great fitness and running ability. Given his brother has been taken by Brisbane, and the Bewick name is synonymous (with talent) around here, he might be an outside chance." -West Perth football manager Brad Lukosius

BLAKE BROADHURST - Subiaco, WA
Born: 24yo
Ht: 186cm
Wt: 82kg
"Blake was our leading goalkicker in 2010 and won our best and fairest. Has played over 100 senior games for us and he played full forward this season and did it really well. Kicked 56.44 this year so he can find the footy and kick a goal." -Subiaco football manager Luke Sanders

ALEX BROWNE
defender
Oakleigh Chargers, Vic
Born: 9/8/92
Ht: 188cm
Wt: 86kg
"Alex we used as a half back/wing because he's got the ability to break the line with his strong running. Powerfully built, his ball use is  very good but it's his line breaking ability that makes him an attractive player." - Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace Vic Metro representative 2010.

COREY BUCHAN
forward
Dandenong Stingrays,Vic
Born: 24/5/92
Ht: 185cm
Wt: 71 kg
"Corey won the TAC Cup goalkicking with about 50 or so and he came from nowhere really this year. Kicked about 20 goals in his first five games, including seven in the opener after starting on the bench. A really raw forward who is a great mark for his size and puts himself in the right spots regularly." - Dandenong Stingrays coach Graeme Yeats

GEORGE BURBURY
half-forward/half-back
Hobart,Tasmania
Born: 18yo
Ht: 186cm
Wt: 80kg
"George was committed to rowing in the first part of the year and he wasn't selected in the Tassie Under 18 side because rowing didn't permit it. Then his last half of the year was outstanding enough at the Hobart footy club to come onto the table. He's a half forward/half back type." - AFL Tasmania high performance manager Nick Probert

KIEREN BUTCHER
midfield
Peel Thunder, WA
Born: 18yo
Ht: 183cm
Wt: 80kg
"Kieren was captain of the WA state Under 18s this year and he's a left-foot, inside midfielder who has the capacity to work really hard and a disciplined approach to his game. Can run with, but can also find the footy himself. Played senior footy for us pre and post the national championships. Mixed it with the men all year and even had the privilege of playing on Andrew Krakouer one day, which was a great learning experience for him. He might be a good chance for a rookie list." - Peel Thunder coach Trevor Williams

C - D

MITCH CARTER
midfield/forward
South Fremantle, WA
Born: 19yo
Ht: 184cm
Wt: 80kg
"Mitch went to state screening and the club rates him very highly. He played six senior games this year, reads the game well, is very natural off both sides of the body and penetrating as well. Plays midfield/half forward but also did a few run-with roles and did them well in a few games." - South Fremantle player development officer Daniel Vidovich

BEN CASLEY
defender/midfield
Western Jets, Vic
Born:  18/3/92
Ht: 189cm
Wt: 86kg
"Ben's a tallish half forward/half back who played predominantly forward towards the end of this season, but certainly over the past few years he's been swung around and done a job for us. He's a very good mark for his size, he's mobile, gets over the ground well and he played two games with Williamstown as a 23rd player and kicked four goals in both games at senior level. He's one of those guys who is really hard to match up on because he is tall but also mobile and good below his knees. He's just a pretty capable player and given the way he played for us and  Williamstown this year, we hope things fall his way." - Western Jets coach Steve Kretiuk

COREY CASSIDY
half-forward/defender
Oakleigh Chargers,Vic
Born: 21/6/92
Ht: 189cm
Wt: 76kg
"Corey has some injury problems this year but plays mainly as a half forward and part-time midfielder. Late in the year we developed him as a defender and he played on two or three really well regarded forwards and beat them. He beat Billie Smedts (Geelong Falcons) and kept him goalless and kept Jed Lamb (Gippsland Power) to one goal. I wouldn't be surprised if he's an outside rookie chance." - Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace

JACOB CASTRICUM
ruckman
Oakleigh Chargers,Vic
Born: 1/5/91
Ht: 194cm
Wt: 85kg
"Jacob had a really good year as a 19-year-old. He was No. 1 for hit-outs to advantage in the TAC Cup and he's a smaller type ruckman who someone might give a rookie spot to." -Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace

REECE CONCA
forward/midfield
Perth, WA
Born: 12/8/92
Ht: 182cm
Wt: 76kg
"Reece is a midfielder who played state 18s this year and was the vice captain of that side. Played 10 games of Colts footy and seven games of league footy. Playing midfield and half back and at Colts level he was the premier midfielder of the competition. He's a quick inside player with outstanding skills, exceptional speed and great ball handling skills. When he went up to league level he was able to perform like he had.in the Colts and had a couple of best on ground efforts. There's a good chance he'll be top 10 I reckon." - Perth coach Damien McMahon
WA representative 2010.

RHYCE COOYOU
half-forward
East Fremantle, WA
Born: 19yo
Ht: 184cm
Wt: 74kg
"Rhyce is from the Towns Football Club in Geraldton and he's very much in the mould of Collingwood's Brad Dick. He's got fantastic skills and demonstrates a bit of magic. Might touch it sparingly throughout the game but when he does, he's lethal. Was playing country footy last year but committed to the pre-season and managed four senior games this year." - East Fremantle football manager Damian Caspar

LEIF COPE
ruckman
Eastern Ranges, Vic
Born: 22/8/92
Ht: 205cm
Wt: 101 kg
"Leif has only been with us for the past two years after crossing over from basketball. He was the third tallest player ever to go through the draft camp and he weighed about 10kg more than any of the other ruckmen that tested nationally. He's got some development to do in terms of his footy, but his body is in really good shape. Anyone who needs a ruckman at the moment he might be high on the list, I'd reckon. He had 10 hard-ball gets late in the year against Gippsland where he was up in the ruck and then followed up the effort, which is a hard skill to teach big blokes. He's just super competitive and I've got great hopes for him because I reckon he can become a really good player." - Eastern Ranges region manager Anthony Parkin

JAMIE CRIPPS
defender/midfielder
East Fremantle, WA
Born: 23/4/92
Ht: 182cm
Wt: 78kg
"Back-to-back years playing state Under 18s, Jamie played one league game in the final round of 2009 and showed that day he had the ability to run and carry the ball and kick nice goals. Had a slow start to this year due to injury but after the national carnival he finished up in the league team and on n number of occasions he gathered the ball on centre wing, took two bounces and kick a long goal. Very quick, very attacking anjf plays predominantly off half back where he runs and rebounds aggressively. An eye-catching sort of player." - East Fremantle football manager Damian Caspar
WA representative 2010.

SAM CROCKER
forward/midfielder,
Oakleigh Chargers, Vic
Born: 12/3/92
Ht: 180cm
Wt: 73kg
"Sam's a wing/half forward and is what recruiters would describe as an 'elite kick' - a magnificent left-foot kick. He's been one of, if not the biggest improver in our whole squad this year. Good ball carrier, breaks the lines, can take a mark but his kicking sets him apart. Showed this year his commitment to the ball and has added that string to his bow." - Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace

LUKE DALHAUS
forward/midfield
Geelong Falcons,Vic
Born: 21/8/92
Ht: 177cm
Wt: 71kg
"Luke's dad won two Mathieson Medals (Geelong Football League best and fairest) and Luke's got the long dreadlocks and is super quick - he recorded the best mobility test in Australia at 7.74 and he's got great speed to match. He's one of those small forwards/ onballer types who would fit the bill of a club looking for a quick forward." - Geelong Falcons region manager Michael Turner

JACK DARLING
forward
West Perth, WA
Born: 16/6/92
Ht: 191cm
Wt: 94kg
"Jack is tracking pretty well and there's been a fair bit written about him because he had such a great national championships last year as a 17-year-old. He certainly wasn't as dominant this year but he's still very young and I think people forget that. He was a key forward in our senior side this season. He's really hard it, he runs well, he crashes packs and he takes good marks. Had a bit of groin soreness at the start the year which hampered him but there's been a lot of interest in him and there has been for a good couple of years now." - West Perth football manager Brad Lukosius
All Australian 2009.
WA representative 2010.

LUKE DAVIS
defence
West Adelaide, SA
Born: 18yo
Ht: 189cm
Wt: 80kg
"Luke's an SA state Under 18 and he played key back for them and finished third in the state screening tests. Had a solid year and he'd be a third tall defender type with a good ability to run. We're hopeful he gets an opportunity." -West Adelaide football manager Scott Turner

TROY DAVIS
defence
Geelong Falcons,Vic
Born: 10/6/92
Ht: 193cm
Wt: 90kg
"Troy is a Geelong Grammar boy who is a centre half back and I'd rate him a chance. He's a big bodied kid who moves well and he might be helped by the fact there.'s not a lot of key defenders around. Has really improved his speed and mobility this year." - Geelong Falcons region manager Michael Turner

SAM DAY
forward
Sturt, SA
Born: 6/9/92
Ht: 195cm
Wt: 94kg
"Sam's an outstanding athlete who can play forward and back and in the ruck. A player who I would say is very similar to Nick Riewoldt in the way he goes about his footy and there's just a tremendous amount of upside to him. At the moment he's playing two or three different sports (baseball/basketball) and once he concentrates on one I think the potential for him to be an elite player at AFL level is pretty high. Balanced up football and study really well this year despite it being pretty hectic for him and I'd be surprised is he wasn't taken top three or four. He can play anywhere really because of his outstanding leap." - Sturt football manager Dwayne Massey
All Australian 2010.

TOM DERICKX
ruckman
Claremont, WA
Born: 7/12/87
Ht: 200cm
Wt: 100kg
"Tom played every game in the seniors for us (after playing reserves in 2009) and tested really well at the state screening. He's a big boy who just got better and better as the year dragged on. A versatile ruckman who can play forward and he's the type who would only keep improving in an AFL system. Moves well, he can jump, he's a good tackier for his size and we're expecting big things from him." -Claremont football manager Dean Horsington

CAMERON DELANEY
defender
Geelong Falcons, Vic
Born: 19/6/92
Ht: 192cm
Wt: 82kg
"Cameron is Luke Delaney's brother and we knew very little about him last year but in 2010 he played very well for us at full bade/centre half back and played for Vic Country and only had five goals kicked on him during that carnival. Unfortunately after the state carnival he had a chipped bone in his foot which really hampered him, but he wanted to keep playing because the Falcons were in the finals. He played with some difficulties late in the year but kept battling and he's since had the operation and come back well. He's just got enormous upside. Plays a little bit like Dustin Fletcher - good skills. If someone did draft him he's one of those kids that will develop massively over the next two or three years." - Geelong Falcons region manager Michael Turner
Vic Country representative 20/0.

E - G

JORDAN EADES
forward
Perth, WA
Born: 19yo
Ht: 183cm
Wt: 73kg
"Jordan is an indigenous small forward who is really quick and has a great nose for goal. A great ball handler with good pressure skills. Kicked a couple of bags of four goals in his first league season and I think he ended up playing about nine senior games." - Perth coach Damien McMahon

AARON ELARI
midfield
Perth, WA
Born: 19yo
Ht: 178cm
Wt: 75kg
"Aaron played 20 games for Perth in his first year of league footy after winning the best and fairest in the Colts competition in 2009. Played through the midfield this year and finished top 10 in the Sandover Medal. An inside midfielder who is just a Garry Hocking type - always at the bottom of a pack.A real stoppage specialist and tested well for agility and speed (2.83 for 20 metres) at the state screening. He's a guy that could not have done any more to get himself drafted, but he's only a little fella and we are not sure if that will go against him." - Perth coach Damien McMahon

MICHAEL EVANS
midfield
Claremont,WA
Born: 13/7/92
Ht: 179cm Wt: 75kg
"Michael's a smart player who is very creative. His biggest asset would be his game sense playing through the midfield and occasionally down forward. Still small but going through a growth spurt." - Claremont football manager Dean Horsington

ALEX FASOLO
midfielder/forward
East Fremantle, WA
Born: 8/6/92
Ht: 182cm
Wt: 79kg
"Alex played his second year of state Under 18s and he's a clever player who plays off half forward. Played half a dozen senior games and looked very comfortable at that level. A strong player overhead and he showed his composure by kicking winning goals on a couple of occasions this year.Very confident in his own ability and a great personality.Tested well at the camp and worked very hard to get where's he's at. Started in the Colts last year and he's a private school boy so we didn't have him all the time but this year he played more with us. He and Jamie Cripps are joined at the hip." - East Fremantle football manager Damian Caspar
WA representative 2010.

ZAC FITZGERALD
forward
Woodville-WestTorrens, SA
Born: 16/2/91
Ht: 192cm
Wt: 84kg
"Zac was injured a lot last year and didn't get many opportunities but he came in as a 19-year-old this year and it worked out well for him. Did really well at the national carnival, including being named best player in two games and among the best in another one. Plays centre half forward in the reserves and played one senior game before suffering a stress fracture in his foot. Came back towards the end of the year but the injury slowed him down a little. He thinks he's a centre half back but we liked to play him at centre half forward. Good skills left and right, a good mark and very competitive." -Eagles talent manager Shane Grimm
SA representative 2010.

ANDREW GAFF
midfielder,
Oakleigh Chargers,Vic
Born: 16/6/92
Ht: 183cm
Wt: 79kg
"His character and intellect just stand out. He's very diligent, his workrate is immense and his ability to gut run is a fantastic quality. At the national level he showed he can mix it with the best midfielders. We played him mainly in the midfield but he can go forward and kick goals, but I'd see him playing on a wing at AFL level and then developing into a midfielder. We'd be very surprised if he didn't go top 10." - Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace.
All Australian 2010.

ROWAN GARLETT
half-forward/wing
Perth, WA
Born: 18yo
Ht: 183cm
Wt: 73kg
"Rowan is a half forward flanker/winger with exceptional speed and great goalkicking ability with an element of freakish. Played two league games this year and there's been some interest from some clubs. This year was his first year at the Perth footy club after coming from Northam. Played most of the year at Colts level and he's a definite talent." - Perth coach Damien McMahon

MITCH GENT
midfield
Dandenong Stingrays,Vic
Born: 5/2/92
Ht: 182cm
Wt: 75kg
"Mitch went to the state screening and is a strong, hard working onballer and he did a really good job for us in the preliminary final on Mitch Wallis in the first half until he got injured." - Dandenong Stingrays coach Graeme Yeats

JACOB GILLBEE
forward/midfield
Lauderdale.TAS
Born: 13/9/92
Ht: 184cm
Wt: 76kg
"Prior to the draft camp Jacob had a question mark over his speed and agility but he ran a 3.05 for 20 metres and had a 7.92 for agility which put him in the top lO.That really helped his chances. Had an outstanding couple of games at the national championships and is a terrific mark playing half forward/wing. We see him as a late draft prospect." -AFL Tasmania high performance manager Nick Probert
Tas representative 2010.

TOM GORDON
defender
Oakleigh Chargers,Vic
Born: 19/4/92
Ht: 195cm
Wt: 90kg
"Tom Gordon's a key position back or forward and we've used him in both roles successfully. There has been a couple of times this year where he's really taken over the game with his contested marking. A left footer, he kicks the ball nicely and he can certainly have an impact on games. Like all big fellas they take some time to mature, but he's improved a hell of a lot between last year and this one." - Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace
Vic Metro representative 2010.

DANIEL GORRINGE
ruckman
Norwood, SA
Born: 2/6/92
Ht: 200cm
Wt: 92kg
"Dan played the whole year at senior level for us, probably two-thirds league (seniors) and a third reserves which was a good effort for a 17-18-year-old. Travelled overseas with the AIS squad and was named All-Australian after the national championships. All in all he's been outstanding. Got a great vertical jump and kicks well both sides of his body. If you watched him in a cone-to-cone drill he just looks like an onballer. He'll go top six I reckon - the best young ruck prospect in Australia, so they say." -Norwood development manager David Oatey
All Australian 2010.

JOSH GREEN
forward/midfielder
Clarence, Tas
Born: 24/8/92
Ht: 179cm
Wt: 76kg
"Josh is an attacking midfielder who can play as a small forward as well. He has just won his second state league premiership in Tasmania so he's very well regarded at senior level in this state. He was captain of the Under 1 8 side and MVP for Tasmania at the national championships. Interviewed brilliantly at the draft camp and earned a write-up for it with quotes from Brisbane about how good he was. His agility reading was six and he ran a 2.92 for 20 metres. We'd be hopeful that he could go as high as the second round. Last year at the national championships he was top 10 for disposals and this year he topped a couple of stat categories. His negative is that he looks a little short and dumpy." -AFL Tasmania high performance manager Nick Probert
All Australian 2010.

BRANDYN GRENFELL
ruckman
Calder Cannons, Vic
Born: 9/5/92
Ht: 198cm Wt: 84kg
"Brandyn's only been in our system for one year and he's a big tall lad who I think will grow into a big bloke with a very long reach. Lots of upside to him after this year when he did a job on some good forwards and then went forward and kicked some goals at times. Highly touted and I think he'll get drafted somewhere around the halfway mark." - Calder Cannons coach Martin Allison

JOSEPH GROENEWEGEN
ruckman
Launceston.TAS
Born: 25/10/91
Ht: 196cm
Wt: 84kg
"Joey's a 19-year-old and last year had a few injuries that saw him come through again for us. Didn't test particularly well at the camp and his form this year was a little bit patchy, but he remains a draft chance really on the back of his athleticism. Got very good endurance and played an outstanding game against NSW/ ACT in our final playing at centre half back. Has shown he can be good but he's been a little inconsistent at times and that's why he hasn't been able to lock a spot away." -AFLTasmania high performance manager Nick Probert
TAS representative 2010.

CAMERON GROVER
midfield
East Perth,WA
Born: 18yo

"Cameron is just a player who wins a lot of footy, he's a good decision maker who uses the ball really well and he'll find it 20-30 times a game every time. Plays through the midfield and spent this year in the Colts and later in the year played about eight or nine games in the reserves, including the grand final." - East Perth football manager Mark Winnett

CAMERON GUTHRIE
defender
Calder Cannons, Vic
Born: 19/8/92
Ht: 186cm
Wt: 79kg
"Cameron won our best and fairest and he's the type of kid who will play any position the coach asks him to - that's his talent. At AFL level I see him being playing somewhere between half back and half forward because he's certainly got the discipline and smarts to play a lock down role on players and then he can go forward and kick four goals a quarter which he showed in one of the finals. Just a terrific player and has skills I'd rate in the top 20 in the competition." - Calder Cannons coach Martin Allison
Vic Metro representative 2010.

MITCH HALLAHAN
midfielder
Dandenong Stingrays,Vic
Born: 23/8/92
Ht: 182cm
Wt: 82kg
"Mitch was our captain and the pinnacle of his year was the national carnival where he was voted one of Vic Country's most valuable players and was in their leadership group. In the latter part of the season he struggled with some ankle problems and maybe if we had our time over again we might have just let him sit out, but he's a real competitor and leader. Good, tough and hard inside player who has clean hands and kicks the ball well. Just an imposing player around the footy." - Dandenong Stingrays coach Graeme Yeats
All Australian 2010.

ANTON HAMP
forward
Claremont,WA
Born: 21/7/92
Ht: 193cm
Wt: 83kg
"Anton's a versatile forward who takes a good mark on the lead. Played Colts all season for us and was very consistent. His versatility is his biggest asset." - Claremont football manager Dean Horsington
WA representative 2010.

BRAD HARVEY
midfielder
Eastern Ranges,Vic
Born: 16/4/92
Ht: 184cm
Wt: 83kg
"Brad's an inside midfielder/wingman/half back and from his testing results at the camp he's super athletic in terms of his speed and vertical leap - I think he was first or second in four of the power/speed events at the camp. He's been on the radar of some clubs and given his athletic ability he might go early. A terrific young man who kicks the ball reasonably well and played Vic Metro this year. Needs to work on his endurance." - Eastern Ranges region manager Anthony Parkin
Vic Metro representative 2010.

KIERAN HARPER
forward/midfielder
Eastern Ranges,Vic
Born: 5/6/92
Ht: 187cm
Wt: 80kg
"Kieran had an up and down year that started with getting appendicitis and plantar fasciitis and he had both of his hips done in the pre-season of last year. Probably didn't get into full training until a week before the season started but had a really good game for Vic Metro where he kicked four goals.Tested well at the camp, was an AIS graduate and he can play just about anywhere. Generally likes to play forward/midfield, he's very good abo*e his head and he's got a lot going for him. I expect Kieran to be gone by about pick 17 or 18." - Eastern Ranges region manager Anthony Parkin
Vic Metro representative 2010.

ANDREW HAYES
half-back flanker
Central Districts, SA
Born: 20/6/85
Ht: 190cm
Wt: 92kg
"Andrew's a half-back flanker who is a good rebounding player and boasts a good vertical leap and great hands. Comes from a rugby background and we recruited him from Sydney.A four-time premiership player with us and he was high up in our best and fairest. There's been a bit of interest as a mature age player." - Central District development manager Scott Stevens.

RILEY HEODLES
defence/midfield
Dandenong Stingrays,Vic
Born: 15/1/91
Ht: 180cm
Wt: 80kg
"Riley's a small, quick competitor who I loved coaching this year. Great in one-on-ones, got a great pair of hands and can play on the really small quicks because he's got great closing speed. Probably the quickest player over 10 metres on our list." - Dandenong Stingrays coach Graeme Yeats

BRAD HELBIG
midfield
West Adelaide, SA
Born: 18yo
Ht: 186cm
Wt: 82kg
"Brad did state screening and is an elite kick of the footy with both feet. Good pace, played one game of league footy this year and is very good overhead. Can play through the midfield and also go forward and be damaging. A powerful player." -West Adelaide football manager Scott Turner

DYSON HEPPELL
defender/midfielder
Gippsland Power,Vic
Born: 14/5/92
Ht: 187cm
Wt: 79kg
"Dyson won just about everything this year. Just a super committed kid, very focused on his footy and came on in leaps and bounds this year. Regarded as a top-10 pick and backed that up by testing really consistently at the draft camp.A really long, effective left-foot kick who last year used that well off half back as a bottom-age player and this year he played midfield for most of the season. Reads the play well and showed great leadership by dragging us over the line in the preliminary final with 40 possessions.Very good overhead for his size and just a really good, modern day footballer." - Gippsland Power coach Damian Carroll
Morrish Medal 2010
Vic Country MVP 2010
All Australian 2010.

TOM HICKEY
ruckman
Morningside, QLD
Born: 6/3/91
Ht: 201cm
Wt: 88kg
"Tom looks like he might go to the Gold Coast. He's an ex-volleyballer who pushed his way up the draft with a fantastic last quarter performance for Morningside in the QAFL grand final this year. Just a real good tap ruckman, with a good work ethic, who can push forward and take a grab." - Queensland talent manager Mark Browning
Qld representative 2010.

GEORGE HORLIN-SMITH
forward/ midfield
Sturt, SA
Born: 22/12/92
Ht: 185cm
Wt: 75kg
"We haven't seen a lot of George because he's an elite cricketer and because of those commitments and those of school he hasn't played much with us until this year. A versatile player who can play midfield or forward, he's got a great set of hands and is a good kick. The Redbacks have been talking to him for a while because he's been playing A-grade district cricket for a couple of years now and cricket looked the way he was going to head until he got some serious attention from clubs this year and I think he's chosen to go with footy." - Sturt football manager Dwayne Massey

JEREMY HOWE
forward
Tasmania
Born: 20yo
Ht: 191cm
Wt: 83kg
"Jeremy's an interesting story and he's the chance to emulate Jeromey Webberley (drafted by Richmond in 2009) and get picked up out of the state league. He's an absolute jack-in-the-box who takes screamers but he's had an inconsistent journey through the talent pathway. He's coming from a country league club last year to play in the state league this year. Plays at full forward and had some terrific games where he was able to catch it and kick goals." — AFL Tasmania high performance manager Nick Probert

MICHAEL HUTCHINSON
defender
Aspley, Qld
Born: 19yo
Ht: 190cm
Wt: 76kg
"Michael ran a 2.88sec for 20 metres at the state screening, he's got good endurance and probably with the way the games evolved, he has a great ability to take a lot of marks in defence. A typical zone-off Sam Gilbert type, who has really good raw courage. Could play up on a wing and I rate him pretty high." — Queensland talent manager Mark Browning

ALEX JOHNSON
defender
Oakleigh Chargers,Vic
Born: 2/3/92
Ht: 195cm
Wt: 82kg
"Alex was captain of the Chargers in 2010 and his workrate mainly as a forward is exceptional. Did play as a defender at the national championships as well, so has that string to his bow. Got an outstanding aerobic ability (mid-14 beep test) and his defensive workrate as a forward is, I would rate, as probably the best in the competition." - Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace
Vic Metro representative 2010

CAMERON JOHNSTON
midfield/forward
Geelong Falcons,Vic
Born: 24/2/92
Ht: 181cm
Wt: 78kg
"Cameron's a St Joseph's College boy who suffered a really bad concussion last year playing for the St Joseph's seniors and was actually put in an induced coma it was that bad. He missed a lot of footy because of that but this year he bounced back and made the state squad and got invited to the draft camp. He's very quick, has a great standing jump and he's just a magnificent kick. I'd say AFL clubs would look at him as a leading small forward who can play a bit taller than his height because of his spring. If he gets the ball anywhere around 50 metres, or just outside, he's a fair chance to kick a goal because he's a beautiful kick." - Geelong Falcons region manager Michael Turner

MATT JONES
ruckman
South Fremantle.WA
Born: 26/6/92
Ht: 200cm
Wt: 86kg
"Matt's a ruckman who can also play forward and he's just got great agility below his knees. Quick for his size but does need to work on his overhead marking. Had a knee reconstruction about three months ago and he's slowly getting back and he should be right to go about Round 6 or 7 next year. Hopefully he gets on a rookie list if he doesn't go in the draft. Earlier in the year he was like a fifth midfielder for the Colts and played some good footy." - South Fremantle player development officer Daniel Vidovich
WA representative 2010.

PATRICK KARNEZIS
forward/midfield
Oakleigh Chargers,Vic
Born: 23/4/92
Ht: 190cm
Wt: 78kg
"Pat started the season in sensational form. He's a 190cm half forward/wing type player who has a great ability to mark it overhead and be equally as damaging on the ground ... and that makes him tough to match up. He had a great first half of the season but then was hampered by illness in the last month and during the finals he had a battle to get the best out of himself. Certainly a draftable commodity." - Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace
Vic Metro representative 2010.

ADAM KENNEDY
midfielder
Western Jets, Vic
Born: 12/7/92
Ht: 179cm
Wt: 70kg
"Adam was a top-age player for us and he was stiff not to win the best and fairest having only played about six or eight games in 2009. He made the TAC Cup Team of the Year on a wing and is just a really hard worker who accumulates possessions. Neat with his skills, good below his knees and good at stoppages. I'd be very disappointed if he didn't go somewhere this year because he's a player who didn't have the development through the squads at the Jets, but he's just been a late bloomer. The last 12 months he improved out of sight and I think it's just the start of things for him. His awareness around the ground is as good as I've seen from a Jets player for quite a while. Great kid, great attitude." -Western Jets coach Steve Kretiuk

DAVID KRUSE
defender
Wanderers, NT
Born: 23/1/92
Ht: 190cm
Wt: 73kg
Dashing tall defender with terrific run and carry from the back 50. Can play tall, small or push into the midfield giving his team flexibility. Impressed for Northern Territory at the national championships.
NT representative 2010.

ANTHONY KYANGA
forward
East Fremantle, WA
Born: 22yo
Ht: 172cm
Wt: 70kg
"Anthony's only a small man but he's a lighting fast indigenous boy who, once he gets the ball, you never catch him. Played about 11 games of seniors and is yet to show real consistency, but on about three occasions he's won the game off his own boot by slicing holes in defences." — East Fremantle football manager Damian Caspar

JED LAMB
forward
Gippsland Power,Vic
Born: 19/10/92
Ht: 181cm
Wt: 78kg
"Jed's a midfielder but he's predominantly played as a forward who pushes up the ground.Very clever around goals, got great clean hands and still has a huge amount of development left in him body wise. Hails fromYarram in south Gippsland and did well for Vic Country this year. A good, young prospect." — Gippsland Power coach Damian Carroll.

KELVIN LAWRENCE
forward
Peel Thunder, WA
Born: 18yo
Ht: 181cm
Wt: 77kg
"Kelvin's played Colts all year for us but he's a typical indigenous player in that he knows where the goals are and can find the footy because of his ability to play ahead of the game, he's got good skills and a great turn of foot and he's caught the imagination of quite a few people over the back half of the season. Had a couple of games in Colts footy where he's kicked six or seven goals and he's had a couple of games where he's kicked 1.8 but he can certainly find the footy." - Peel Thunder coach Trevor Williams

RYAN LESTER
defender
Oakleigh Chargers,Vic
Born: 26/8/92
Ht: 193cm
Wt: 82kg
"Ryan had a bit of bad luck this year in terms of injury that started with a broken thumb in the opening round. Didn't play more than four games in a row all season, but in saying that he had a really good national carnival as a defender and we played him as a half-back/midfielder. He's strong, his contested work is very good and he's very good overhead. A good versatile player who is committed and intelligent. I rate him very highly." - Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace
Vic Metro representative 20/0

TOM LIBERATORE
midfielder,
Calder Cannons,Vic
Born: 16/5/92
Ht: 182cm
Wt: 78kg
(drafted byWestern Bulldogs, father-son)
"Tom's a very good inside player and he's an outstanding clearance stoppage player. His handball work is exceptional and he's got some improvement to come. I'd like to see him get more balance between his inside work and his outside work and it's something he's been
working really hard on." - Calder Cannons coach Martin Allison
All Australian 2010.

ANGUS LITHERLAND
defender
Claremont,WA
Born: 12/10/92
Ht: 192cm
Wt: 83kg
"Angus played as a key back this year. He's a very good running player with outstanding closing speed. Played Colts all year after joining us from a country zone. He attacks the ball really well and takes the game on." - Claremont football manager Dean Horsington WA representative 2010.

SCOTT LYCETT
ruckman
Port Adelaide Magpies, SA
Born: 26/9/92
Ht: 202cm
Wt: 95kg
"Scott's a ruck/tall forward who broke into the league side this year and did OK. A big unit who will likely take time, I would have thought considering his size, but has an enormous upside. A country boy from out Ceduna way who relocated a couple of years ago." - Port Magpies development manager Julian effas
SA representative 20/0.

TOM LYNCH
forward
Dandenong Stingrays,Vic
Born: 31/10/92
Ht: 197cm
Wt: 90kg
"When we saw him in pre-season we though 'gee wiz, we've got a Nick Riewoldt look-alike on our hands' - just his size. He's got a great motor and first year in our program this year he just jumped out of the ground and had some fantastic performances after getting injured early. Great below his knees for his size, workrate outstanding, hands terrific and came third in our best and fairest when he only played 10 games.Tall forward who presents up like Riewoldt. Played really well in theTAC Cup finals against good opposition. An accurate kick from shorter range but not a long, penetrating kick. If he's not a top 10 pick I'm not breathing." - Dandenong Stingrays coach Graeme Yeats
Vic Country representative 20/0.

DEAN MACDONALD
forward
Gippsland Power
Born: 6/7/92
Ht: 186cm
Wt: 84kg
"Dean's an explosive forward who finished second on theTAC Cup goalkicking with 42. A dynamic and powerful sort of player who is quick and can play half forward/forward pocket and can take a mark." - Gippsland Power coach Damian Carroll

PAUL MARSHALL
utilty/midfielder
Central District, SA
Born: 8/5/92
Ht: 185cm
Wt: 80kg
"Paul played reserves for us this year and he's one of our better juniors. A utility/onballer type he's really developed nicely this year. Got a really good game in that he's poised when he's got the footy, he doesn't panic and he's got good ball skills by foot and hand." - Central District development manager Scott Stevens

PATRICK MCCARTHY
defender
Glenelg, SA
Born: 11/3/92
Ht: 194cm
Wt: 84kg
"Paddy's an exciting tall who we played in the ruck in the Under 18s finals because of his athleticism and he virtually gave us another onballer. When he played reserves footy he played quite a bit off half back and off a wing. Tall, but very athletic and good below his knees which allows him to be a damaging player running free. Still got a lot of upside because it's only been in the last 18 months he's really come on. Didn't even make our team for the Under 18s early last year but came in right at the end and was a key player in the Grand Final. This year the improvement has been massive." - Glenelg development manager Brenton Hole
All Australian 2010.

ANDREW MclNNES
defender/midfield
Dandenong Stingrays,Vic
Born: 20/3/92
Ht: 189cm
Wt: 83kg
"Andrew plays centre half back and he's one of those really unobtrusive, effective backs who got the job done every week. A super competitor, hard worker, great preparer and just lots of upside to him. Just someone who has grown in our program and even as a bottom-ager played on the best forwards every week. Goes away and researches the player he's playing on and does his homework. 1 reckon he's a ready-made AFL-lister who probably just needs to work on his pace and improve in a couple of areas, but we love him and think he's just a hard and tough player who never backs off from a challenge. Even though he's only a Darren Milburn size, he's probably better suited to the bigger bodies because he just so competitive in the air." - Dandenong Stingrays coach Graeme Yeats
Vic Country representative 2010.

JORDAN MEAD
forward
Western Jets, Vic
Born: 1/7/92
Ht: 172cm
Wt: 66kg
"Jordan won our best and fairest and while he's only short, he's in the mould of Robin Nahas, where he can be damaging up forward. A great tackier, who hunts the ball and the opposition really well and is good around goal. The one thing he has got that some small forwards don't is a great set of hands for his size - he can take marks and outpoint taller guys in marking contests. He's a smokey." -Western Jets coach Steve Kretiuk

SAM MENEGOLA
midfielder
East Fremantle, WA
Born: 18yo
Ht: 192cm
Wt: 85kg
"Sam's a key position player who has some growing to do but that will come. He's a phenomenal athlete who can run a 15-plus beep and knows how to run his opponents ragged and work off them. Kicked four goals in the Colts' grand final win and had a strong second half of the year which he carried into draft testing." -East Fremantle football manager Damian Caspar

VIV MICHIE
forward/midfield
Oakleigh Chargers,Vic
Born: 23/2/92
Ht: 185cm
Wt: 79kg
"Gold Coast was looking atViv last year as a 17-year-old but didn't take him. He's a very balanced player who can play a variety of roles from half back through the midfield to deep forward. For his size as a medium midfield he's very good overhead and his kicking skills and his execution with the footy is first class. Has certainly come on over the past 12 months given he played a lot at half back last year and this year we used him more as an inside player." - Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace.
Vic Metro representative 2010.

TIM MILERA
forward
Port Adelaide Magpies, SA
Born: 9/12/92
Ht: 170cm
Wt: 72kg
"Tim's a bit of a freak. He missed out on the national championships because there were some question marks over his weight. He's an indigenous boy who has some of the best skills I've ever seen on both sides of his body.A very natural footballer and is the sort of player who can win a game off his own boot with the most amazing goals you will ever see.A genuine small forward who isn't lightning quick but is smart and certainly has some tricks." - Port Magpies development manager Julian effas

LUKE MITCHELL
forward, Calder Cannons, Vic
Born: 28/2/92
Ht: 196cm
Wt: 96kg
"Luke had a  a shoulder reconstruction before the season started. A key forward who played the last three or four home and away games and the finals for a total of about eight games for the season. Each week he progressively got better culminating in a five-goal effort in the grand final. Takes a very good contested mark, has improved his leg speed and agility and is an accurate kick for goal." - Calder Cannons coach Martin Allison

JUSTIN MONACO
defender
East Fremantle,WA
Born: 7/11/92
Ht: 19 km Wt: 86kg
"Justin's a good athlete who could have excelled at rowing. A key position player who played state Under 18s where he had an outstanding carnival. Played most of this year in our reserves and he's still a developing big bloke who is definitely on the right track. Another two years, and with some size on, I can see him being a real quality player." - East Fremantle football manager Damian Caspar
WA representative 2010.

AARON MULLETT
midfielder
Eastern Ranges,Vic
Born: 23/2/92
Ht: 183cm
Wt: 74kg
"Aaron's a half forward/wingman/half-back flanker who is a beautiful left foot kick and was top two for agility at the draft camp. He'll be around the mark ... maybe a late draft pick or a rookie list. Had a great year for us and played Vic Metro but because he's a tradesman he probably got a bit tired towards the end of the year combining work and footy." - Eastern Ranges region manager Anthony Parkin
Vic Metro representative 2010.

BEN NEWTON
forward/midfield
South Fremantle, WA
Born: 8/8/92
Ht: 183cm
Wt: 76kg
"Ben's from a junior club on the outskirts of Perth and last year he played all games bar one in the Colts and nearly broke into the reserves side. A very good left-footer, takes a good, strong mark and only injury prevented him from playing league footy this year. Plays half forward or through the middle and his contested ball and disposal is excellent.Very dedicated kid with great character." - South Fremantle player development officer Daniel Vidovich
WA representative 2010.

TIM NORTHE
midfielder
Gippsland Power, Vic
Born: 24/3/92
Ht: 175cm
Wt: 71 kg
"Tim's a clever small player. A left-foot kick who had a consistent carnival with Vic Country and was high up in our best and fairest despite missing five games. He won the best and fairest last year as a bottom-ager. Very skilled, good around goals, super competitive and works hard through the midfield." - Gippsland Power coach Damian Carroll

CAMERON O'SHEA
defender
Eastern Ranges,Vic
Born: 13/3/92
Ht: 19 km
Wt: 86kg
"Cameron was our captain this year and he's probably a midfield/half-back type who at 191 cm runs a 14.1 I beep test and 10 minutes flat for the 3km time-trial.Those stats escalated his prospects and skill-wise he has come on. Early on he had a few decision-making problems playing on the ball, but when we put him to half back where he could see the game a little better, that certainly helped him. He's worked harder than anyone else on our list over the last two years to give himself a chance to play at the highest level. Super competitive and he'll play AFL footy purely on desire." Eastern Ranges region manager Anthony Parkin
Vic Metro representative 2010.

MAX OTTEN
defender,
Oakleigh Chargers,Vic
Born: 10/11/92
Ht: 193cm
Wt: 86kg
"We played Max as a half-back/wingman and his execution on his left foot is very well regarded. Sets up play well, his game sense and his ability to read the play and cut off the ball at half back is fantastic." - Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace
Vic Metro representative 2010

MATTHEW OUTRIDGE
midfield/half-back
Swan Districts,WA
Born: 18yo
Ht: 181cm
Wt: 75kg
"Matthew was captain of our Colts side in 2010 and played five games of senior footy at the back end of the season but injured his ankle in the first final. Plays midfield/half back and just runs and carries the ball, got great foot skills and could become an elite kick in time. Just an outstanding leader and we think that if he doesn't jump on a list then he can certainly be captain of our footy club down the track." - Swan Districts football manager Matt Peach

LARRY OWEN
defender
Tasmania
Born: 18yo
Ht: 193cm
Wt: 85kg
"Larry's a centre half back who played every game for us. A great athlete who went to the state screening and won the beep test with 15.4. He's also the dux of his school so he's got great character and intelligence. As a footballer he's still very raw." - AFL Tasmania high performance manager Nick Probert

ADAM OXLEY
midfield/forward
Redlands, Qld
Born: 18yo
Ht: 190cm
Wt: 75kg
"Adam is probably the typically late developing Queenslander who just has a really good game sense. Can play midfield or forward and probably his main attribute is he's a good mark and a good user of the footy. Makes good decisions in close." - Queensland talent manager Mark Browning

LUKE PARKER
midfield, Dandenong Stingrays, Vic
Born: 15/10/92
Ht: 182cm
Wt: 83kg
"Luke is a really strong bodied, good endurance athlete who probably just tapered off a bit towards the end of the year but had a good national carnival. An exciting player who can play midfield as well as a small forward, a terrific kick and decision maker. Really hard and tough. He was one player who was targeted by oppositions each week and he was manned up no matter what position he went to. But, to his credit, he handled that fantastically well." - Dandenong Stingrays coach Graeme Yeats
Vic Country representative 2010

ANDREW PHILLIPS
ruckman
Clarence,Tas
Born: 3/7/91
Ht: 200cm
Wt: 86kg
"Andrew's come from the bush and so clubs are looking at him and wondering if they know enough about him to draft him. He's nearly 201 cm and he's improved so much over the course of this year that I think he'll be taken late. A pure ruckman, who can kick a goal, moveswell, although he's not a tall skinny kid that runs around like crazy." -AFL Tasmania high performance manager Nick Probert
Tas representative 2010

JAYDEN PITT
forward/midfield
Geelong Falcons,Vic
Born: 7/10/92
Ht: 188cm
Wt: 72kg
"Jayden Pitt was a bit of a revelation this year. He was really under developed last year and we only played him in one game but this year he developed into a really good player. Played across half back and on the wing, he made the state side and had a great carnival and was named All Australian. He's got a lot of development left in him, great skills on both sides of the body, great decision maker and look, I think he will be a pretty early draft pick. Just the modern sort of player with big upside." - Geelong Falcons region manager Michael Turner

"Jared started the year in the reserves and in the Under 18s and after a really good national championships he played senior football and had a strong finish to the year. He pretty much played a roaming forward role for us and did whatever he liked because that's what he's good at. He understands structures well, he's a good mark, he's quick and he's a good kick. We're pretty certain he'll go reasonably early in the draft." - Eagles talent manager Shane Grimm

DION PRESTIA
forward/midfield, Calder Cannons,Vic
Born: 12/10/92
Ht: 175cm

"Dion's a midfielder who wins his own footy both on the inside and can break lines on the outside with his carry. Really classy midfielder who is probably in the best two or three players, bearing in mind I'm very biased, in theTAC Cup. Had an injury playing school footy but still finished second in our best and fairest." - Calder Cannons coach Martin Allison
Vic Metro representative 2010.

Q - T

MATTHEW RANKINE
forward/midfield
West Adelaide, SA
Born: 20/2/92
Ht: 179cm
Wt: 70kg
"Matthew really jumped out of our pack this year. He's got express pace, very elusive across half forward and has all the skills and confidence in himself to beat opponents with his leg speed. In the Under 18 grand final his first quarter was unbelievable. Probably lacks consistency at this stage but he's got some real tricks. He'll stand there, look at a bloke and then just take him on and beat him." - West Adelaide football manager Scott Turner
SA representative 2010.

THOMAS RUGGLES
half-back/onballer
Geelong Falcons, Vic.
Born: 25/4/92
Ht: 182cm
Wt: 71kg
"There's been interest in Tom who hails from Drysdale. Just a tough half-back flanker/onballer who wins the footy and is very competitive." -Geelong Falcons region manager Michael Turner

TOM SCHNEIDER
forward/midfielder,
Oakleigh Chargers, Vic
Born: 30/9/09
Ht: 178cm
Wt: 77kg
"Tommy is a very hard working, inside midfielder whose hands are really something that sets him apart. He's a very good player who we'd like to think would feature in the draft somewhere. A real footballer's footballer. Very committed and very hard at the footy and distributes it well." - Oakleigh Chargers coach Steve Grace
Vic Metro representative 2010.

JORDAN SCHRODER
midfielder
Calder Cannons, Vic
Born: 5/12/92
Ht: 183cm
Wt: 81 kg
"A really classy inside and outside midfielder who has flown under the radar of recruiters because he's sitting in a midfield with Mitch Wallis.Tom Liberatore and Dion Prestia. His four finals were outstanding and when games were there to be won, particularly the preliminary final, he was fantastic. He's now starting to come under a bit of notice from recruiters and I reckon he'll get on a list somewhere." - Calder Cannons coach Martin Allison

DANIEL SEMMENS
forward/midfielder
Geelong Falcons, Vic
Born: 14/2/92
Ht: 176cm
Wt: 70kg
"A half forward/onballer who is a beautiful left-foot kick - kicks it a bit like Luke Hodge." -Geelong Falcons region manager Michael Turner.

CALEB SHADBOLT
half-back/half-forward
West Perth,WA
Born: 21 yo
Ht: 186cm
Wt: 82kg
"Caleb played every game for us in the league side and was selected in the WA Under 20s team and captained that side in the games they played. Can play forward or back and kicked seven goals in one game but we used him as a rebounding backman and run-with player. Really came of age this year. Good foot skills and quick across the ground." - West Perth football manager Brad Lukosius

ARRYN SIPOSS
forward/midfield
Dandenong Stingrays, Vic
Born: 25/11/92
Ht: 189cm
Wt: 80kg
"Arryn basically jumped up out of the ground this year. He was a late bloomer who didn't come into our program until last pre-season and excited us by his ability to catch it A really accurate, long and strong kick who you'd back in from outside 50 metres more often than not. A great contested mark but does need to work a bit harder to keep improving. Came from a long way back but was a real eye opener for us. Lots of upside." - Dandenong Stingrays coach Graeme Yeats
Vic Country representative 2010.

BILLIE SMEDTS
defender
Geelong Falcons,Vic
Born: 8/6/92
Ht: 188cm
Wt: 78kg
"Billie will go pretty early I think - I reckon top 10. He was our best player last year in the finals despite the fact he hasn't accessed our program all the time because of school football commitments with Geelong Grammar. Had a few injuries this year which set him back with his state stuff, but he's a good player who can go forward and kick goals, play in the midfield and his best position might be back flank in the AFL Before he went to the draft camp I thought he would have been first round, but at the draft camp he was top 10 for the fitness testing protocols. He was No. I in mobility, top for speed, standing jump and speed repeat. After those results I think someone will have to commit pretty early to get him." - Geelong Falcons region manager Michael Turner
Vic Country representative 2010.

BRODIE SMITH
defender/midfield
Woodville-WestTorrens, SA
Born: 14/1/92
Ht: 189cm
Wt: 80kg
"Brodie was solid all year and went away with the AIS squad at the start of the season and then played for SA in the state championships. We didn't get to see him a lot at the Eagles until after the national championships but he played a couple of games in the reserves and then got promoted to the seniors and stayed there. Had a really good finals series, including a great semifinal against Glenelg, playing mainly half back and in the back pocket on the smaller forwards in the league." - Eagles talent manager Shane Grimm
All Australian 2010.

JAMIE SOLLY
forward
Port Adelaide Magpies, SA
Born: 27/7/92
Ht: 192cm
Wt: 92kg
"He unfortunately broke his ankle in our finals series playing in the reserves over here but he's mainly a utility, playing as a key forward
with stints at centre half back. A big, strong boy, exceptional kicking ability and he's versatile. Has played about six or so senior footy games for us in 2010." - Port Magpies development manager Julian effas
SA representative 2010.

LEE SPURR
wing/forward
Central District, SA
Born: 27/7/87
Ht: 185cm
Wt: 82kg
"A two-time premiership player with us after we recruited him from Morningside in the QAFL Lee plays mainly as a wingman/forward and has worked really hard on his game and as a mature-age player there's been some interest." - Central District development manager Scott Stevens.

TOM SULLIVAN
midfielder/forward
Calder Cannons,Vic
Born: 15/3/92
Ht: 168cm
Wt: 64kg
"Only small but has a heart bigger than Phar Lap's. He's very good inside, he goes forward and kicks goals and is really classy like that. Doors are opening up for smaller type players nowadays and he might get a chance. Tested at 2.8 sees for 20 metres and ran a 15-plus beep test." - Calder Cannons coach Martin Allison

AARON SWEET
half-back/midfield
East Perth, WA
Born: 21 yo
Ht: 184cm
Wt: 85kg
"Aaron was runner-up in our best and fairest and he played WAFL state footy this year and was among the best players in that game. Had a really consistent comeback season in the WAFL after taking 2009 off. Plays across half back and midfield and I think he averaged about 25 touches a game. A nice size with good leg speed." - East Perth football manager Mark Winnett

SEB TAPE
defender
Glenelg, SA
Born: 6/8/92
Ht: 191cm
Wt: 85kg
"Sebastian made his league debut against the Eagles in the last final we played and was named our best player. He stood (Trent) Hentschel and cut him out of the game in the last half. Got great closing speed even though he doesn't look super quick and that's because he's got great judgment. You'd swear a lot of the time he's going to fall over but he doesn't - he's got great balance even when you think he's out of position and keeps his legs really well. Fantastic character of a kid who was captain of the state Under 18s this year and plays mainly as a key defender. Very clean with his hands and has a knack of bringing others into the game. We see him as a player with AFL written all over him." - Glenelg development manager Brenton Hole
SA captain 2010.

JEREMY TAYLOR
half-back flanker
Geelong Falcons, Vic
Born: 17/6/92
Ht: 190cm
Wt: 81kg
"Jeremy really came on late for us this year. We didn't invite him down at the start of the year because he hadn't played any local footy, but a couple of the kids told us we should and finally we did and it worked out well. He's a great athlete, got a 15-plus beep test and in the last four games of the season, including two finals, he played on some good players and did very well. Plays back flank and if I was going to compare him to someone I'd compare him to Will Schofield (West Coast), but I think Jeremey will be bigger than Will and maybe has more potential." - Falcons region manager Michael Turner

U - Z

KIRK UGLE
forward
Swan Districts, WA
Born: 18yo
Ht: 175cm
Wt: 70kg
"Kirk's from our country zone in Bunbury and he's a left footer with amazing movement ... a real hammer on his left side. Smart around goals and while he's not well built he's got the tools of the trade to go to AFL level as a small forward who can push up into the midfield. Played only four games of Colts footy for us on permits because he couldn't get a clearance from his country club." — Swan Districts football manager Matt Peach

OZGUR UYSAL
forward
Calder Cannons,Vic
Born: 5/8/92
Ht: 179cm
Wt: 72kg
"Only been in the system one year but he's a really classy forward who makes good decisions." - Calder Cannons coach Martin Allison

JAKE VON BERTOUCH
forward
Woodville-West Torrens, SA
Born: 4/5/92
Ht: 192cm
Wt: 80kg
"Jake's a country boy so he made the two-and-a-half hour trip to training twice a week for the last couple of years to underline his commitment to footy. Played in the Under 18s all season apart from a couple of reserves games late. A tall, marking forward with a good, long kick and he's very athletic." - Eagles talent manager Shane Grimm
SA representative 2010.

JOSH WALKER
forward
Geelong Falcons,Vic
Born: 12/11/92
Ht: 194cm
Wt: 87kg
"Josh is the grandson of Peter Walker who was centre half back in Geelong's 1963 premiership side. There's not too many kids around like him. He's a big boy, big body, runs a plus-14 beep, he's improved his goalkicking and his general kicking. For a club like Port Adelaide who has lost Warren Tredrea, Josh is the sort of player they would be looking for." - Geelong Falcons region manager Michael Turner
Vic Country representative 2010

MITCH WALLIS
midfielder,
Calder Cannons,Vic
Born: 24/10/92
Ht: 185cm
Wt: 79kg
(Drafted by Western Bulldogs father-son)
"More of an outside player than an inside player but he's working on that and it showed when he got a lot of his 47 possessions in the grand final inside heavy traffic. He's going to be a beauty." - Calder Cannons coach Martin Allison

MATTHEW WATSON
defender
Calder Cannons,Vic
Born: 16/7/92
Ht: 195cm
Wt: 98kg
"Matthew's a tall defender who can go forward and he showed that by kicking five goals in one of the finals from a half forward flank. Got a body not far off being ready to play senior footy and a cracking left foot that can hoof 60 metres with a lot of accuracy. Reads the play well, knows when to zone off and a very talented player who I think can go in the top 20." - Calder Cannons coach Martin Allison
All Australian 2010.

BLAYNE WILSON
defender
Peel Thunder, WA
Born: 26/1/92
Ht: 188cm
Wt: 86kg
"Blayne didn't get as much footy in this year as he would have liked because of some ongoing groin issues. He essentially played as a defender, he reads the game really well, got a great pair of hands and a really cool head for a young guy. Very good in traffic with the footy and although his season tapered off in the last five or six weeks, when he was playing he was playing at senior level. Just an old-style footballer who reads the game well for a kid and knows when to go and when not to go. He's a good kid." - Peel Thunder coach Trevor Williams
All Australian 2010.

SCOTT WORTHINGTON
half-back
Subiaco, WA
Born: 20yo
Ht: 184cm
Wt: 78kg
"Scott joined the footy club this season from the Kalgoorlie region and played 13 senior games. Plays as a rebounding half-back and was very consistent for us running it out of defence. Can play on tails and smalls." - Subiaco football manager Luke Sanders

HAYDEN YARRAN
forward/midfield
West Perth, WA
Born: 30/4/92
Ht: 186cm
Wt: 75kg
"Hayden basically plays as a small forward. He started off in our Colts program and was selected in the WA state Under 18s Academy and following the carnival we pushed him up into our senior program and he played some reserves footy. He's shot out of the blocks a little and certainly at Colts level he was a target for us as a leap-up forward. Got good hands, is a nice kick and kicked just under 30 goals to lead our goal-kicking. Not overly big, but he covers the ground well. He didn't do a lot of testing at the draft camp because he had a bit of soreness." -West Perth football manager Brad Lukosius

AARON YOUNG
forward/midfield
Eastern Ranges,Vic
Born: 6/12/92
Ht: 188cm
Wt: 77kg
"Youngy is an AIS product from Yarra Valley Grammar who is probably our most competitive player..Plays forward and is very good above his head, played well for Vic Metro in all the state games and I reckon he'll go pretty early. They (recruiters) thought one of his slight issues might have been his kicking but he came second at the draft camp for the kicking drill." - Eastern Ranges region manager Anthony Parkin
Vic Metro representative 2010.
