And pretty stuffing unhappy with the merge of threads too. That thread was meant for people who can't have a serious discussion about the way Jack plays at times. This one should be for people who can.

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Jack was on Ch 7 news tonight showing off the greyhound he's racing. Compared it to Lids - fast, lean and muscly.

In another interview yesterday IIRC played on 3aw's hourly news (I can't find the audio link), Jack mentioned he has had something like 15 ops over the last 12 months or so and that it affected preseason (and thus the season) as you're thinking about the ops and recovering from them. Hopefully once Jack gets back into full training after his latest niggle he gets a good run through the preseason which then should have him in good shape for the season proper.

Jack doesn't need a full pre-season. It's a handicap imposed by the AFL to stop Jack from dominating  :shh

Jack high, but aiming higher

Star Richmond spearhead, Jack Riewoldt, by his own admission, was below his best for a fair portion of the 2012 season.

Yet, the fact he was able to kick more than 50 goals for the third consecutive season, win his third Michael Roach Medal in-a-row, as the Club’s leading goalkicker for the year, and a second Coleman Medal for heading the competition’s goalkicking table, at the end of the home-and-away season, says plenty about his capability as a full-forward at the game’s highest level.
