Surely we are over Waite dominating against us?  What’s he now, 33?

Cotchin will have his work cut out for him on Jacobs but he only needs to do what he’s been doing and let the others dominate the possession.
Prestia is a loss and Martin needs to find his mojo as his kicking efficiency has been poor.

We should win if we are on our game, I think a 3rd quarter lapse like last weeks will be more damaging if we let that happen again.

I expect a good contest especially early but we should still win comfortably if we are switched on.
The club that keeps giving.

So are we just gonna start calling every game a danger game until we lose?

Literally its been every game since round 3 onwards which included against the winless brisbane lions at the MCG who weve beaten something like 12 times in a row.....

Do these tools honestly think Waite coming in is going to stretch our backline lol.
To be honest the bloke goes alright, even at 40. Wood, Waite & Brown are not pushovers.

Come on last years fixture we exposed him big time his lack of pressure and defence our back 6 made him accountable and he was bad.Even with our outs I'm still confident.

Hope they play Daw. He's a weakness that can be exploited by a good reader of the play. Could get his opposite number to pop up and take marks all over the ground

Opposition sides seem to forget about Broad who plays on the mobile 3rd tall who pushes up the ground to the wing as a linking player. In the GF, Broad played on Lynch and kept him quiet.

Astbury gets Brown.
Rance gets Waite inside North's F50.
Broad gets Wood.
Leaves Grimes as a spare option (on Higgins when he's up forward) and to peel off to prevent one-on-ones on the above tall match-ups.

Up forward, if North are playing 3 talls with Tarrant, Thompson & Daw back there, then our mids just need to lower the eyes. Our quick of the mark small forwards should be able to find space at ground level and on the lead between 3 (slower) talls.

It's in the midfield we need to work on this week. Freo smashed us in the clearances last week without Cotch there.

No late changes today?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
