Mother of God we were sharp  :clapping not much would have stopped us out there today,

I agree, it wouldnt have taken much to stop them today.
A senior Port team perhaps?
Those arseholes just got lucky they don't normally ever beat us  :shh

Im not gonna start whackin the ol fella too much they were missing the guts of their midfield and key forwards.  We were in cruise mode, so bit of a nothing game, just a warm up run but still nice to give em one anyway.

Nup. Would have shitted it in. Should have in the final last year when you think about it.

Get excited no reason why a Top 4 finish isn't probable

Don't know don't care. I'm an average simple Richmond supporter. I see a 10 goal win and I just know we are a top 4 lock.

Conca, Vickery. Can anyone report how those 2 went?

Both disappointing for mine

Ty didnt use his body well enough and didn't  provide enough contest

Conca did some good things but also a few bad things ie caught with the ball and bad disposal

Griffiths is in front of Vickery.
I watched Tyrone closely tonight and not just to pick poo at him, I actually rate him.
He presented well but couldn't take a grab overhead. He blew up too easily when needed in the ruck when Ivvy was red vested. I have concerns for Tyrone, he looks like a player who is playing without the enjoyment.
I watched mc bean when he came on, didn't do much but ran hard and looked like a bloke who wanted to be out there and be a part of it. The opposite to Ty.

cheers. No surprises there. Hopefully hunt and lennon push some of these battlers out.

Ty lost me last year but I still hold out hope for Conca, he has a dip and with an injury free season could be a good inside mid

Reckon you'd be balls deep in to us had we lost
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

yeah agree with chuck, both disappointing. I still hoped concs would come good, but watching him today just had the distinct impression I was watching a battler at best. Got caught a few times, some typical crap kicks. Ty was Ty, lumbering behind his opponent a fair few times, easily pushed off the ball in the contest, dropped marks, just a typical dud performance.

The main thing is we got through the game yesterday without any injuries (touchwood).
