Agree if it's the same later in the year then it's over for Cumbo at RFC

Not related to just Cumbo but if Yze wants to be a senior coach for more than 18 months I'd hope he'd move away from playing limited role playing battlers in large numbers. She's time for the young blokes to get a good crack at it

It’s obvious

He must be a pain in the arse or a tool so to speak

Otherwise he would have played every game last year .. he’s the exact type we should persist with .. got more talent in his big toe than half the list have in their entire body

Others like Fridge are looked after at selection because they are good blokes

The saddest thing is it hasn’t only infiltrated selection at RFC, it’s also resulted in preferential treatment at the OER forum level

Like watching a footy game on CCTV. It's simply a camera on the boundary that is moved left and right. But I guess it's better than nothing.

Our cat. B rookie Hayes-Brown is lost in the ruck.

White kicks our first.

Similar to the AFL team. Over-handballing, can't hit at target by hand or foot, and our F50 entries are just kick and hope :P. Norf just feeding off our errors and rebounding with ease off.

Sam Frangalas shot on the run from 60 out and it bounces through the open goal.

Quarter time

Richmond    2.3-15
North Melb  5.1-31

Goals: Frangalas, White

Difference is the foot skills. Summed up late in the quarter when Hill had a set shot from just 30 out to bring the margin under a kick but couldn't make the distance nor had the accuracy anyway for that matter :P. Norf then run it down the other end for a set shot goal from 40 out that went straight over the goal ump's head.

Hayes-Brown has no idea rucking at the centrebounce. He hasn't once got near the ball  :P.

Half-time

Richmond    2.3    2.4-16
North Melb  5.1    9.1-55

Goals: Frangalas, White

Only VFL Tiger who is showing any reasonable spark and skill is Frangalas. Aside from that the only positive is it's a practice match and it doesn't count. Not sure what our VFL side has been doing over the summer. Basic skills, basic defensive spoiling, and team organisation/connection are all a shambles. Hopefully, we don't have too many injuries at AFL level because most of these VFL-listed players aren't even close to VFL standard  :help.

Clever tap by Olden to the goalsquare and Davidson gets a foot to it to goal.

3/4 time

Richmond     2.3      2.4     4.7-31
North Melb    5.1     9.1     9.2-56

Goals: Frangalas, White, Bravo, Davidson

Not pretty but a combo of an increase in workrate/pressure preventing North's transitional play plus the breeze picking up meant the ball spent that quarter in our front half.

Ball-up 30m out and Olden gets the HTB free. Goal!

37 - 56

A goal into the breeze.
