I was talking with a Carlton mate yesterday, far fetched, but he was thinking Martin => Pies, Daisy => Blues, Kruezer => Tigs. Doesn't sound too far off the mark?

See this is a perfect example of why people that barrack for Carlscum have crap for brains

The threat of the PSD is overplayed. when was last time a player just walked at the insistance of the club with first pick without a fair effort at getting a deal done?

Houli? we offered a fair deal for a bloke not getting a game. Essendon were just stuffwits.

Stevens? wanted to go to collingwood, but port asked too much and again it was a case of port taking skin of their nose to spite their face, so he ended up at carlton ( something he later said we regretted).

Luke ball? again the aints were beligerant. knocked back pick 20 something or pick 30 and a fringe player and he ended up at the scum with 30 in the ND.

If dusty decides he wants to go to GWS and they want him, we will likely not get what we could on the open market, but most probably it will be close and we will have to accept it or get nothing like the other stuffwit clubs above.

So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

if they do,the have the upper hand. i doubt they will. history says they will offer something close to fair, but they will get the better of it.

If they want to play hard ball, we go trade with the Dees. Simple.  :rollin

no, because if dusty doesnt want to go there we cant force him.

there is talk around that the AFL will not allow dusty to walk to the PSD. as they pretty much own GWS they can final say in their dealings, and given the context of the cypriot's statement on  the matter it may have an element of truth.

If Martin decides to go to GWS they will NOT screw us.

There are still a lot of people out there that can't get their head around Free Agency.

Daisy doesn't have to be traded for, Col Sylvia doesn't have to be traded for.

i dont think he is as dynamic as martin, but few are. he comes with a pretty good tank already though and works hard both ways. Lays plenty of tackles for a kid too.

Match winners are not much use if they are not constant and have a solid supporting cast.

I'm starting to think he wont go anyway, so it's probably all moot.

Still laughing at my Pies mates who reckon they'll get him for 'whatever they offer us' IE pick 11.

I just told them straight up - Martin for Beams or Reid. No Swan.
