SO HOW IS CONNORS GOING NOW......L.

NUFFERS

3 goals against 12 year olds. Gee you set your standards high. Edwards needs to dominate every game and Connors needs to get 3 goals against a poo team for him to win you over

:fishing

Mmmmmmm, first game back compared to......

12 year olds that nearly beat us........

Connors work rate has been great.....

Put your boat in another pond......;)

Go in with a mindset of just win and this happens, good sides win in these conditions by 40-50 points, I'm really jacked off that we didn't seem to learn our lesson from last week. We are a dumb dumb football side that can't think on it's feet, yeah dimma is great in drilling us to know our systems inside out, problem is in the wet we need plan b and our players don't have the brains to switch

better than loosing i suppose  :P

If we'd taken our chances it wouldn't seem so bad. smashed them in terms of inside 50 and kicks on goal, but their goal kicking was exceptional and so was ours.....exceptionally bad that is

Game over and we won.
I'll take the four points and that's it move on. We won at least. Seems hollow to me.
Not an effort that was worthy of a finals aspirant.

Mentally we have switched off the in the last two weeks. We have got through the tough end of the draw and have switched off mentally now that we are going through some less difficult opponents.

Conditions admittedly have not helped in the last two weeks but it was almost de ja vu to last week. Yes we won more contested possessions and more inside 50's and I suppose if we kicked straighter we might have been talking about getting a win and some % on Carlton and St Kilda.
Since quarter time they outscored us 10.2.62 to 7.18.60. Alot in that I suppose and some of what I said earlier. Just glad we got the four points but nothing to crow about.
What was worrying was we almost went back into our shells when they got to within 6 points in the last quarter. Nothing special. Let's move on. Just an uninspiring effort and an uninspiring game.

I hope the bye freshens up the side both mentally and physically because the last few weeks have shown that we are possibly starting to fatigue and crack and going back to bad habits and may need some time to recharge the batteries and rejuvinate the mind.

Wow radio in the car, even Rex is bagging us bigtime. missed most of the game, but a win in those conditions is a win.

I liked the way Griff worked into the game :thumbsup He, along with Rance, will be looking forward to Grimeys return.

Another terrible performance by our team IMHO. 12 goals to GWS 11 goals to Richmond. That to me is simply disgraceful. We have been terrible the last 3 weeks. GWS will be well and truly past us in the next 12 to 18 months with their talented youth. We have to many ordinary players in our club. Only good part about today was the 4 points, pity we werent good enough to lift our percentage. Thats what we really needed the points and the percentage.

He's actually contracted until 2014, so he most likely will be unless we want to pay him 500k over two years.

Honestly we can't go forward with Miller in  the side. I think that if Grimes comes back in we need to send Griffiths forward if Vickery is injured or stays out of form. Even McGuane or Post would be a better option.

Agree with this part.
