I would like to see him traded at the end of the season.

Key forwards with huge egos and individual tendencies are rarely are part of teams that win premierships.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

I think that description fits Franklin off field, not so sure about on field.

If we keep chipping the ball around the backline like we did on the weekend he may as well walk. He was in form on Saturday night. He beat Carlisle about 4 times in the first 20 minutes of the game then the ball didn't get near him.

Did anyone see the footage of him on the Sunday Footy Show where he jumped early for a mark and gave away a stupid free and then yelled at the umpire saying he was pushed.

One of the all time great flogs.
yes it was ridiculous but he shouldn't have to be in that position.  If the midfield were delivering the ball correctly to a well timed lead then in reality he should be taking chest marks 75% of the time, surely this is the lowest risk method within the forward line. The problem is that the ball is coming inside 50 so slowly and haphazardly that it means the forwards are flat footed and become reactive rather than proactive.  We really need to get the ball inside 50 much quicker and to predetermined lead zones. I would have thought a forwards coach would have this down to a fine art by now. Instead it just looks like marks/goals are occurring more from luck than good management.

Good post our forward delivery is so crap, I think in that instance the ball was kicked to a pack of three bummers, not surprised on how he had to leap into that pack.

Cotch was lowering the eyes and delivering well but in the main the rest of the delivery was a disgrace.

Jack is peeed off ATM and rightly so. He is in dangerous form but the ball is not coming to him. Who gives a stuff if he is whining to the umps every now and then, he is working hard and doing good thugs when he has the opportunity.

Why don't we do a Tarrant/Croad with one of our former players...

Trade our 2nd rounder (as we know FJ will do nothing with it anyway) + Dylan Grimes

Then get Dylan Grimes back with another useless 2nd rounder 2 years later once he's fit.  :clapping

We should get a motza for him as well from a top side, they know he would kick near a 100 per season with proper delivery.

He would probably kick 15 on Rance

Sliding doors: round ten

IF ........... Richmond doesn’t start adopting a forward-50 game plan which allows Jack Riewoldt to strut around like the superstar he is …

THEN ....… his talent is being wasted. He needs to have the licence to be The Man, and let’s face it, the other plan is not working.

Damian Barrett becoming obsessed with the Jack ...

IF ........ Damien Hardwick doesn't start directing more inside-50 balls to Jack Riewoldt …

THEN ….... he will risk caging his lion for too long. Lions shouldn't be caged for an entire season.
