Funny how Geelong doesn't consider him worthy of even being picked up again as a rookie.

RFC pounces and considers his a strong addition to the midfield.

Guess it says something about their standards VS our's and given their successful period over the last ten years you have to think they know what they're doing somewhat.

Still, hopefully he stays fit and plays good footy.

Geelong list is falling apart abit

The slide is on IMO...

I seems hunt was easy in their best 22 two years ago

Time will tell. They were still a top 4 side.

You may be right but given they're ability to recruit/draft blokes I seriously doubt they'll finish outside at least the top 6 in 2015.

Just watching his highlights reel on the RFC web page. He can do it all, kicks them from anywhere too.

I just  :pray :pray :pray his body holds holds up.

Have to say enjoyed those tackles against Carlton, especially the one on McLean  :cheers

Maybe maybe not. Christianson is a gun.

They look to be replacing Hunt with Sam Blease.

Rivers is a dub, Stanley was expensive...

dont reckon their list is getting stronger

The best 22 still looks sok as do most teams in november, Clark was a very good get and will be handy with Hawkins youd think.

Mackie Lonergan Rivers
Enright Taylor Kelly
Motlop Guthrie Duncan
Johnson Clark Stanley
Bartel Hawkins Stokes
McIntosh Caddy Selwood
Int: Thurlow, Bews, Horlin-Smith
Sub: Murdoch
Emerg: Smedts Kersten Lang

Richmond should beat them IMO. then again im thinking its time we start beating the like of geelong, collingwood, carlon more consistently so im bias

4 Mackie, Andrew 220 30yr 2mth 7 Aug 1984 192cm 86kg Glenelg Defender
17 McIntosh, Hamish 126 30yr 1mth 4 Sep 1984 203cm 103kg Murray Bushrangers Forward
Ruck
25 Rivers, Jared 182 30yr 18 Oct 1984 192cm 92kg North Adelaide Defender
27 Stokes, Mathew 175 29yr 11mth 22 Nov 1984 175cm 77kg Woodville West Torrens Midfield

That has to be the worst highlights pack I've seen in my life. All flukes

Yep don't know how you can get excited over that

I thought it was a pretty decent highlight reel for a tagger of his age.
Tackles like a madman.

keep an eye on the kid we would have picked if we hung on to the draft pick,
Whoever it is will win a BROWNLOW.
That's just how it goes.

We didn't trade a pick. We only lost our last pick in the ND. If pick 100+ wins a Brownlow, I will buy drinks for all on OER! ;D

so exactly what do we have here.

obviously primary role has to be tagger. but does he offer anything else.this im not so sure about.more than happy for us to give him a good go in saying that though.
also hes had some injury so im prepared to cut him some slack.

some concerns are his lack of disposals, does not get much ball ever. there a few contested possesions or clearances, there are not a lot of tackles but he does tackle well. as a pure stopper hes probably more into blocks and scragging tactics.
im not sold on his disposal either. yep the concern really is that hes got one string to the bow and nothing else. we will find out soon.i hope he can become a decent player for us.
