Andy Collins kicked 4 for their magoos this week. Look out tigers ! The great white hope might be playing this week  :lol

Serious for a second , what the hell has happened to Marc Murphy ? Bloke was a bona fide star over the past few seasons. He's terrible now ! How does that happen ? Reckon he might be a bit gun shy after that broken cheekbone ?
He'll probably be BOG this week now that I've gobbed off.

Preview: Tigers v Blues

By Nathan Schmook
afl.com.au
Monday, August 12, 2013

SUMMARY

The Tigers (13-6) have booked their place in September, winning four of their last five games. There were concerns in the second half against the Brisbane Lions in round 20, however, in a sluggish end to the match. Four wins clear of ninth-placed Carlton, the Tigers can now focus on securing a home match in the first week of finals. The Blues (9-10) are fading quickly and are all but out of finals calculations after a 28-point loss to the Western Bulldogs. With a list clean-out looming, players will be fighting for their futures in the last three rounds.

WHERE AND WHEN: MCG, Saturday August 17, 1.45pm

LAST FIVE TIMES
R1, 2013, Richmond 14.22 (106) d Carlton 14.17 (101) at the MCG
R18, 2012, Carlton 14.11 (95) d Richmond 13.13 (91) at the MCG

R1, 2011, Carlton 14.20 (104) d Richmond 13.6 (84) at the MCG

THE SIX POINTS

1. Richmond defeated Carlton in round one at the MCG, winning by just five points after they led by 36 points at three-quarter time.

2. Richmond’s win in round one ended Carlton’s dominance over the Tigers, the Blues having won the previous nine contests.

3. At the MCG there have been 70 previous matches between these sides, with 37 wins to 33 in the Tigers' favour.

4. Richmond hasn’t won consecutive clashes against Carlton since 2006.

5. Richmond remains the last-placed side this season for tackles, laying 1077. Carlton is ranked No.8 with 1220.

6. Trent Cotchin has been replaced by Brett Deledio as the Tigers' No.1 ranked player in the Official AFL Player Ratings. Cotchin has recently rediscovered his best form, however, averaging 32 possessions over his past four matches.

Do we want anyone from their list, if they are going to clean it out, like they say?
