Who are our left footers?
« on: September 29, 2008, 03:13:02 AM »
Quote
"A lot of people have questioned why we [Hawthorn] have so many left-footers in our side but we deliberately tried to bring in more left-footers to almost artificially lift our kicking efficiency because in '05 we were 16th in kicking efficiency and this year we are first," Pelchen said. "There is no doubt if you analyse right across the competition left-footers versus right-footers, left-footers are more efficient kicks, it is quite clear."

Chris Pelchen in today's Age

Who are our left footers out of curiosity?

Browny is obviously one. Tivs and Hyde are now gone. Who are the others?

Whitey is having a left foot summer.

Now that the broken toe on his left foot has healed, he can develop his opposite side nicely over the upcoming long, hot, summer.

There is nothing better than a right footer with left foot nouse...especially one with pace to burn.
