Richmond is holding a special event to thank its loyal members and fans for their support during the 2011 season, a record breaking membership year.

Before the Pounce – proudly supported by Australian Power & Gas will take place at the ME Bank Centre, Punt Road Oval, on Sunday, August 14, from 12pm to 1:30pm, before the Tigers’ final MCG home game for the year, against Sydney.

A highlight of the event is the Australian Power & Gas Kids Clinic, which will run from 12pm-12:30pm.

Australian Power & Gas is giving 150 lucky children, aged 6-12, the chance to take part in the clinic, absolutely free!

Every child that takes part in the clinic receives a complimentary ticket to that afternoon’s Richmond v Sydney game. Simply click here to register now, as spots are strictly limited.

In addition to the clinic, there is something for Yellow and Black barrackers of all ages to enjoy, including:

    Free members' barbeque
AFL playground equipment, including a “specky” machine.
Photo opportunities with former Richmond players and a Tiger premiership cup.
Autographs from some current Richmond players.
Massive one-day only Tigerland Superstore merchandise sale
    Face Painting
Bring your footy for “kick-to-kick” out on the famous Punt Road Oval.

When:  Sunday, August 14, 12pm-1:30pm
Where: ME Bank Centre, Punt Road Oval
Entry:  Free. Registration required (only for kids clinic)

Please note – parking available in Yarra Park (MCG). There is NO parking at the ME Bank Centre.

Win the ultimate family day at the footy!

By simply registering your children for the kids’ clinic, you’ll automatically go into the draw to win the ultimate family day at the footy (at a 2012 Richmond home game), which includes:

1 x adult (15 years or above) to meet the captain and toss the coin.
1 x child (12 years or under) junior mascot prize, including a run through the banner with the team.
5 x premium reserved seat tickets.

Click here to register for the clinic.

Thanks to our partner, Australian Power & Gas, for supporting this special “Before the Pounce” event.

We've ordered a lot of snags...a whole lot.

Basically its a part of a RFC thank you to our fans, last MCG home game, we're pulling out all the stops and if its successful we will be looking to hold more of these next year now the ME Bank Centre is finally completed. We have nearly the best asset of all footy clubs, Punt Road only 100 metres away from the G and we want to use it more.

I will be going, but I know of alot of supporters who aint going and had enough of the 2011 season
Most of these supporters are 3121 members too.
Forget about the snags, you should award medals to the supporters who put up with the GARBAGE that has been dished up in 2011
Really , the return for the members is poor., especially the 3121 members

word of advice RFC offical, survey your 3121 members and social club members and see how many will be rejoining in 2012.
No doubt they will be memberships, although NOT in these particular categories, which I believe is just a ""money grabbing "' excercise
Really, the social club membership is a farce, club knows that as well
